the communication was perfect, the service was up to date. my family and i had a wonderful safari. i will always use this tammy tour safari and i recommend whoever visits kenya to use tammy tours .

12 night honeymoon perfection!
We did a 12 night trip booked through Sunny Safaris (6 nights safari, 6 nights Zanzibar) for our honeymoon in May 2018. I was recommended them through a friend who had grown up in Tanzania and used their services regularly on their holidays there. In summary we highly recommend Sunny Safaris as a tour guide to our friends - we found it great value for a private tour, with amazing personalised itinerary and accommodation. We can't wait to come back for another safari!
Positive points:
- I had been in contact with one of their admin ladies, Jessica, from around a year before. She was always prompt and courteous in her responses. She provided us with an itinerary suggestion which we discussed back and forth, and was very open to changing ideas around to suit our timeframes and budgets.
- Our safari guide Hamisi was SUCH a happy, friendly and lovely guy who went out of his way every day to make sure we had the best experience and sightings. He was a careful and great driver. He was happy to work around us with what we wanted to do in terms of pick ups in the morning etc, but always gave us his advice and recommendations too which we valued.
- The accommodation was outstanding throughout - we can't fault any of it. We stayed in 5 different lodges over 6 nights for our safari so it's too long to go into them individually, and we honestly cannot name a favourite. They all had either amazing food, views, amenities or wonderful staff. Most of them had all three!
- We brought our marriage certificate to prove we were honeymooning for our week in Zanzibar and we got some lovely extras as well from the hotel (Ocean Paradise Resort).
- The man (Omar) who picked us up from Zanzibar airport also organised a Blue Safari tour for us while we were there, which was well priced compared to the hotel that offered the same tour.
Challenges and negatives:
- Due to language barriers it was sometimes difficult to get more detailed information on local tribes, customs and animals.
- Due to confusion in our communication with Jessica, we thought there was only a 5% surcharge on CREDIT cards and not on debit/prepaid travel cards. The 5% surcharge actually applies to all card payments, which we discovered when paying our remaining 50% deposit on arrival with a prepaid debit card. We would have happily brought cash if we knew this.

Amazing experience-3 day game Amboseli-Maasai Mara
My boyfriend Adam Gustaw and I, booked a 3-day safari with Tammy tours. We had this guide by name Tunu Jum''''a Eberl, She was very patience and very eloquent in answering all questions before and after we booked. We met her the day we arrived in Moi Airport based at Mombasa, Kenya and her proficiency in English and German (which we also spoke as second and third languages apart from our native language Polish) was astonishing.
Our guide Tunu definitely the best female guide around Mombasa and East Africa as it seems to me haha, is very friendly, polite and wishes her guests nothing but the best experience as witnessed by her effort in making her guests feel at home so far away from home. She knows the park ends very well that you would not want her to stop explaining even for a moment and also has a very wonderful sight (I think the binoculars are on her favour haha) she spotted lions and a pack of leopards (a rare sight as said by locals) which I do not think we would have noticed.She knows a lot about the animals and the interesting culture around too. For Adam and I the experience would not have been better without Tunu on behalf of Tammy Tours safari. Perfect getaway for us as a couple so far I can conclude.

Another amazing trip to South Africa!
This is the third time we booked our trip to South Africa with help from Tailor Made Safaris and it was great again! Al our wishes were fulfilled. The communication and service is fast and professional. A few weeks before the holiday we got our self drive book with al the information we needed to know. During our trip we visited the Drakensbergen, Manyoni game reserve, St Lucia, Hluhluwe-iMfolozi and Thanda Safaris. We saw a lot of animals and beautiful nature. The accommodations were great, food was great and the people were the best! In the future we hope to come back (again) to South Africa and of course we will do that with the help of Tailor Made Safaris once again :)

I have met Sungwa in Disney World-Orlando, where we all were working to make magic, i loved stories of Tanzania and decided when i return to Botswana i will visit the country. Me and my girlfriend we then decided to visit for 3 days, Davis the Safari consultant really did a great job, he recommended the best hotels and best places to visit. Tarangire was our main highlight, abundant elephants.
The team is very professional and very friendly, Our guide was knowledgeable.

Super knowledgeable and able to offer efficient and speedy advice, result was a perfect holiday.
First time on safari - by asking all the right questions Rose was able to offer choices which allowed us to collectively create the perfect holiday. Right down to knowing when to get a private plane 'v' road transfer. Every part of the trip was super well organised, someone always there to meet us, even as we got off the plane from Heathrow. At no point were we left to fend for ourselves. The true meaning of 'luxury'.

Beautiful camping and hiking trip with affordable pricing
Xaa Safaris Mokoro trip was very well organized, even I made my bookings in very last minute. Xaa Safari personel considered very well my wishes. They helped me to organize everything and feel welcomed in Maun even beyound the main camping trip. My camping and walking safari trip was truly beautiful experience.

Our guide and the assistants on the safari were all excellent. Excellent equipment and facilities. Excellent food. The animal viewing experience was amazing. The locations chosen for the safari, also amazing.

Bait and Switch!
I booked the luxury 4 day safari to Amboseli and Tsavo. I selected specific accommodations and chose this company because they told me we could do an add on to include a trip to Mara Mara for a hot air ballon ride. A week before the trip they contacted me and said they could not take us to Mara Mara. When we arrived the safari vehicle was old and rusty. It was not a Toyota 4x 4 as advertised. On the way to the first hotel I noticed we were going in a different direction than the accommodations I specifically chose. The safari tour booked us in a standard level accommodation. I insisted on the tented cabins we booked as this was a once in a lifetime trip. The tour operator told us it was sold out. The driver took us there and there were plenty of rooms available. The third night the same bait and switch occurred. I had to book a hotel separately and paid out of pocket to stay in one of the hotels that was promised. The safari company has not refunded me and I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
