Jackson, our tour guide, did an outstanding job taking care of all our needs. Uganda was amazing.
5/5

Uganda Family Tours offered a reasonably price tour package for my 10 day experience in Uganda. Our accommodations were lovely and we were well taken care of. Our tour was personalized and allowed us to do and see all that we wanted to. Jackson was an outstanding guide who took care of us from start to finish. I highly recommend Uganda Family Tours and Travel.

Extremely informed, great guide and very personable!

We had a great time on our tour of Victoria Falls. It was raining the day of tour but that did not take away from the beauty of the falls, or from our guided experience with Kuda. I look forward to coming back and touring the falls again!

Highly recommended

Peter organized a tour according to my individual wishes: a 3-day trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the gorillas. Exactly what I wanted. He responded promptly to my email inquiries. Peter is a reliable and friendly tour guide. And he has chosen very nice hotels. Good value for money! Next time I (hopefully) visit Uganda, I won't hesitate to book another tour with Buyaga Safaris.

Excellent driver and entertainer
5/5

Our experience with Priority Wild Safaris and Leonard was incredible! Leonard was the most genuine, talented, kind and honest driver. We always felt safe and taken care of in his company, and we had the freedom to decide what to do and when, at all times. Very high value for money, overall. Leonard made sure that we got to see “The Big 5”, and he could answer every question about the animals, Kenya as a country, the Masaiis, etc. The vehicle itself was also excellent. Great comfort and could get through any bumps, mud pools or just difficult terrain. We cannot recommend the tour and Leonard enough!
Greetings from 6 Danish girls:)

Incredibly well organized, knowledgeable and great value for money
5/5

My girlfriend and I joined Suricata for a 3-day safari to Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It was an absolutely unforgettable trip in which we saw more animals than we dared to imagine. We had the pleasure to join four others in a pop-up roof vehicle driven by our extremely skilled, knowledgeable and helpful guide Golden. This was complemented by the great lunches and diners that James prepared for us in increasingly beautiful locations :). The whole trip was flawlessly organized to maximize safari time so also thanks to Daniel and Vumbi for all the behind the scenes work! Moreover, it was very well-priced compared to other offers we received. Can’t wait to go on another adventure with Suricata

Very good safari
5/5

The safari with Tall Masai Safari was great. The communication with Benson before and during the safari was seamless, everything was as agreed. We had an excellent driver, Richie, who managed even the very difficult terrain. We got a lot of information from him about the parks and the animals living there. The accommodation was modest but perfectly adequate. I have nothing to complain about.
We had a safari for five nights.

Excellent! One of our best vacations!
5/5

I spent a long time reading reviews of safari companies before deciding on Suricata - we were so happy with our choice! First, we had to reschedule our trip very last minute because my husband got sick the day before we were supposed to leave for Tanzania. Hilary was very accommodating and let us reschedule for 6 months later. He communicated with him over Whatsapp.

We were met at the airport and taken to our Arusha hotel (Tulia), which was fine and had good food. The first day was Tarangire - highly recommend! So many elephants and giraffes and we saw a lion in a tree. We stayed in the Suricata Bomo Lodge - five stars!! Beautiful views, pool, excellent food.

Second day was a long drive to the Serengeti. Bumpy roads, we helped another jeep with a flat tire. Not many animals to see.

Third day was a game drive in the Serengeti. It was a bit disappointing with the animals very spread out, but that isn’t the guide’s fault. But out guide Golde was always checking with other drivers on where to find the best spots.

Last day was Ngorongoro crater - saved the best for last. So many animals, including rhinos. Our guide Golde got us to the front of all the jeeps for great lion pictures!

Every day they fed us excellent food (too much! We could never finish it).

We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to do another safari with Suricata!

A picture perfect hike with an amazing guide
5/5

We did the Sirimon gate with medium effort. The hike up was beautiful as was the hike down. Daniel and the crew made sure that we ate well, were comfortable and safe/cautious. Despite having altitude sickness the whole team was very patient and understanding always staying by our side throughout the process. For those that are looking for a guide that cares, Daniel is the guide you need. The team at Mountain hiking Ventures will be the first on our list for our future adventures.

Best trip of my life - fabulous custom tour!
5/5

I’m a biologist and the safari trip was top of my bucket list. Visiting the Mara changed my life - can’t say enough how amazing it was to be where humanity began and large animals roam free.

I checked with other companies but was impressed with Bright Maasai from the start because it is small and Maasai owned. Good communication, range of experiences and prices, and they let us customize a tour to Kisumu and Lake Victoria and then on to see the last bits of relic rainforest near Kakamega.

At our request, Dickson also arranged for us to visit a local elementary school, where we provided some basic scientific equipment for the students and then had a hoot chatting up some of the most adorable kids I’ve met in a while.

We had a group of 4 adults (and two expert guides at all times), which was perfect for the Land Cruiser. Vehicle had all the extras - pop up top for photographing, plugs for charging electronics, radios and safety equipment, hard windows for our city trips, and our guides knew how to drive that beast on and off the trails. Great guiding and animal spotting - our dude Dickson was so good he even spotted our lost iPhone in the middle of the Mara grass, while driving.

Pro-tip: Pay extra for the off road permit so you can drive right up to where the animals are. Your guide will get a hefty fine if you don’t have that permit - so don’t pressure your guide to follow the other vehicles driving off track. Just pay for the permit.

I most appreciated Brighte Maasai’s custom service, individual attention for our group and our preferences, comfortable accommodations (glamping in the Mara!), tasty food tailored to our various dietary restrictions (our group included a vegan, a gluten avoider, and a severe nut allergy).

Ask for it how you want it and just go- it will be the trip of a lifetime.
