An amazing African experience with Mwema safaris. Our tour conductor Malini Samaga operating from UAE customized our eight day tour to suit our family with young children and senior citizens as well with good pricing.
There were no hassles with booking and communications.
The drivers went out of their way to make sure we got the best of sightings. Our driver Mr. Anthony, a very knowledgeable guide kept the children highly entertained yet well informed!
I highly recommend the hot air balloon.
The road leading to Masai Mara is dusty and tedious and under construction. That was the only difficult patch.
The journey back from Masai Mara to Nairobi is loaded with traffic and the timing has to be well planned to reach airport on time as traffic is very heavy and unpredictable.

12 Day Tour of Uganda Left Us Wanting More!
Matoke Tours was recommended to me years ago and my sister and we are so glad we took the recommendation. Our expectations were exceeded! This was our first visit to Uganda (my sister's first trip overseas) and we loved it. Anna and Pleunie are very responsive and accommodating. We appreciated their advice and suggestions offered as this was our first visit to Uganda and were unsure how to structure our time. We were able to plan for as much or as little activity we desired, and were pleased by the accommodations (except for Marafiki Safari Lodge). Overall, the itinerary that was put together for us (customized to our requirements) gave us a wonderful overview of the country and left us wanting more.
Our driver, Musa is wonderful! He's an excellent driver, very professional, and we felt very safe. We learned a lot about birds (he's an avid birder) and the native species in general through our conversations during our drives.
We were treated most hospitably by our lodging hosts Magdalene at Papaya Lodge, Nick and Merlin at Mihingo Lodge, Darius at Enjojo, and Ann from Bwindi Lodge. We enjoyed ourselves and found Uganda to be a beautiful country with beautiful, welcoming people.

Fantastic Safari
The whole process of setting up was so easy and Ene Lepp were so timely in responding and answering all of our questions - related to our Safari as well as in relation to our travel to Tanzania in general. They filled us with confidence in traveling to go on a Safari which we knew nothing about beforehand. Our guide Emmanuel Bildad was also fantastic, a great professional willing to share his knowledge with us.

We had our first experience of wild camping in Botswana with kalahari breeze safaris and came away feeling extremely satisfied with all our expectations met! It was our very first time in the wild with wild animals around us, yet,we felt safe. The staff,Salani,the guide were extremely good. The tents were comfortable and safe. The meals were gourmet in the middle of nowhere and our game drives were superlative! We experienced the best of views,photography and everything, soul satisfying! Okavango delta experience was out of the world, especially the viewing from the plane. Everything seemed so surreal. Going by the mokoro was a fabulous experience with hippos all around. Respect for wildlife was very much in place. There were no untoward problems and we returned completely satisfied. KBS arranged our transfer to Livingstone and visit to Victoria falls, which was a great experience. The icing on the cake for us was our stay at Pangolin photo safari resort, Kasane, also arranged by KBS. It was truly,truly exotic. We thank Maria, Chris and their staff for giving us our best experience in the wild.

Being a vegetarian, it was heartwarming to get Indian vegetarian food, which made the stay feel homely and welcoming. Experience with Lion King Adventures
We had to finalize everything in less than one week, and the team of Anna Smith and Wilbard made sure that we were able to pull this off. Both Anna and Wilbard were available 24X7 to help us plan the itinerary, finalize the hotels, and assure us that everything would go well. Not only this, Wilbard’s expert advice that we skip Western Serengeti and spend two days in the Northern Part was beneficial and shows that they know what they are talking.
Everything from our drive to hotels was immaculate. All the hotels were as planned; check-in took minimal time because of Lion King and our movement and transition from one hotel to another and one part of the Serengeti to the second was flawless. We can never forget Anna’s calm demeanor and support she provided us.
We truly believe we could not have chosen a better Travel Company.
We had the Best Guide – my friend Saleh
We spent seven days of the Safari with Saleh as our driver, guide, and now a friend. He has a pleasant personality and is an honest, kind, humble, and trustworthy human being. He is very professional, carries a great passion for his work, and leaves no stone un-turned to make sure that the client gets the best of the experience during the safari.
We saw all the big five during our safari, Mara River crossing and also saw Lion going for a kill that is a rare sight. He has an excellent eye for spotting animals, experience of animal behavior, and encyclopedic knowledge of African Birds. We were always in the right place at the right time because of which we never missed any action. We would not have been possible without our guide friend Saleh.
Learning – Safari is all about the Travel Company you choose and the guide you go with. We are so happy that we went with Lion King Adventures and Saleh as our guide.

We did the 7 day migration Safari with Lion King. It took a long time to decide on a company to choose and in the end chose Lion King Adventures. We are so so glad we did. Pre safari the contact was great. Nothing was a problem, no question to silly. The organised transport to get us to Arusha. The price included soft drinks, water and a beer each lunch time. Such a nice touch! The accomodation organised was absolutely incredible. Ozzi was our guide and he was incredible. A great sense of humour, great english, very cautious and respectful and nothing was ever a problem, he was willing to do anything (almost) to ensure we had the best safari experience. We highly recommend Lion King Adventures and will be recommending them to everyone we know coming to Tanzania to do a Safari and hopefully we will be back one day! Thanks Lion King!

An unforgettable trip in Tazania
About 3 months ago, I planned this trip with 3 other families. I searched on the net, then I found AfricaKukaye and others. I sent several emails to talk about the trip. I was impressed by Remsi, the trip advisor of AfricaKukaye. He individualized our trip, gave us a better price, and many good advices. Then we have this trip.
We have had a great journey in Tanzania mainland in about 9 days, traveling from Kilimanjaro slope, driving through the great 3 national parks - including Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and most exciting Serengeti - and lodging beside the great Victory Lake. This is a long and tough journey for us and especially for our children, had not been with the team from AfricaKukaye. They are really experts of safari. We saw everything we were intending to see. We had a very good appetite for our chef's food. We experienced pure African local culture by visiting Chaaga village, Maasai village and a fishing community. We all have learned so much. And children have broaden their minds in this trip, in geology, animal biology, culture, language, and more.
