Fabulous honeymoon
5/5

Tammy Tours were amazing. From start to finish Tunu went above and beyond our expectations. She was organised and helpful, always on hand to answer my many email questions in the run up to our honeymoon. She then met us personally at the airport to introduce us to our personal driver, Alpha. Alphas local knowledge, communication and driving skills were exceptional. He really made our safari comfortable, easy and exciting. Tunu stayed in touch with us throughout our trip via watsap, always making sure that we were happy. She then met us at the end of our safari and drove us with Alpha to drop us to our next destination which was diani beach, to ensure we arrived safely. Our time with Tammy Tours was then over but Tunu was still on hand with her local knowledge and contacts and even organised our taxi to the airport 4 days later. We would not hesitate to book through Tammy Tours again. We hope to be back again soon. Than you for a fabulous honeymoon!

Professional and excellent safari tour partner.
5/5

Everything was awesome during the whole trip. Our guide "Peter" was professional, friendly, funny, skilled, experienced and cooperative. He gave us lot of information about the local wildlife and culture and generally about Kenya and Africa.
The accommodations were extraordinary. The Sopa Lodge franchise. African style architect and design. Excellent and varied food service. Friendly and professional staff.
The safari experience was also perfect with the optional bike and boat tours. The optional tour guides are also professional. We saw clear and closely lot of animal. We checked the Big Five except leopard. Our guide made everything to show us leopard but we didn't have luck.
We were satisfied with everything. We strongly recommend this safari company to everybody.

Gorilla tracking in West Uganda
5/5

Ronald organised a fabulous 4 day whistlestop tour of west Uganda for me. He was super prompt replying to any email, and outlines various options for me to choose from. The gorilla trekking was of course a highlight, only topped off by being rugby-tackled to the ground by a baby gorilla which was amazing. Although Ronald didn't accompany me on the tour, he organised for Grace (one of Uganda's very few female tourist guides) to escort me around. Grace was a fount of knowledge and some very amusing stories. Thanks to Grace I sampled the local matoke (mashed up banana) which was far more tasty than I would have thought. She also tackled the Uganda roads with ease which is no mean feat. Many thanks to both Ronald and Grace. I look forward to my next trip!

Could not have done it without him
5/5

From my very first contact with Andy Saidy to the end of our trip, he was nothing short of extremely helpful , offering advice , setting up tours, remaining in contact , and always available and answering questions. He made our first trip to S.A a very easy and enjoyable one thanks to his recommendations and services of setting up tours and transport. He listened to what we wanted for our experiences and worked within our budget, including finding a fantastic place to stay in Sabi Sands. Everything worked out beautifully and I felt nothing but safe with all the transportation we got as well. I highly recommend this company and Andy for your travel needs to S.A. Thank you Andy for everything!

Brilliant and a life long memory.
5/5

It was a real good experience for all of us. We had lot of confusion before selecting Bobby Tours and frankly we were not sure whether we are taking the right decision. But from the time of arrival at Kilimanjaro it was a wonderful experience. We did not have to struggle for anything and all the services and comfort were provided. We enjoyed every moment of our full trip and the places where we stayed are superb. Even when we found after reaching the airport that we forgot our binocular in the vehicle we informed Kassem and he immediately arranged to deliver it to us at the airport. We will whole heartedly recommend this Bobby Tours for anyone who is planning to have a trip in Tanzania.

Selous with a 3-years-old
5/5

There are plenty of agencies in Tanzania offering similar safari tours. We have chosen Hello Tanzania as Sylwia really tried to adjust the trip for us to be perfectly suitable for a little boy who just turned 3. We even switched from our original plan of doing the northern circuit to going to Selous instead which we did not regret at all. Having no real comparison to other national parks we really enjoyed it having a quite diverse program - bush walk, boat safari, village tour, and game drive of course. The only downside was that the pool of the lodge we have chosen was out of order which Sylwia did not know either. Still she supported us to get a partial refund from the lodge afterwards.
All together everything was arranged as agreed and worked out very well.

Professional, reliable and very experienced.
5/5

We booked a safri for our honeymoon for a 'once in a lifetime trip' and it was such an amazing experience which really was down to the professionalism and expertise of the Suricata Safari staff.

We were picked up the airport on time by Fredrick (our guide) who was very welcoming and wearing a Suricata shirt; making him easy to spot and reassuring. He dropped us off at the hotel and we were briefed by Hilary, who answered all our questions and spent some time going through what will happen on each day (even bought us a bottle of wine on the first night to celebrate our honeymoon - nice touch!).

On Safari itself, Fredrick encouraged us all to ask questions and was really knowledgeable! He got us so close to all the animals. I would certainly advise to do at least the four day safari so you can see enough of everything. The company provide, cool, bottled water through out the day, so don't worry about having to bring your own.

We decided to go with the lodges (just for the extra luxury) and although they are quite a bit more, they were well worth it.

When we got back, Hilary met us at the hotel just to make sure we all had a good time. All and all a great sarfri, and it is the little personal touches, that really made the trip.

Abdul and Jason went out of their way every minute of the way to make sure we had an enjoyable trip
5/5

We arranged our trip through Jason who was patient and very helpful. We did a private tour and kept changing our plans but he made sure everything worked out perfectly. Abdul was our driver and he was so sweet. He made recommendations along the way and advised us on different places to go so we were able to add activities into our itinerary. He was exactly on time every time we were meeting him. He even called our hotels for us while we were on our way so that they were aware of our arrival time. When we went to Lake Bunyoni, we didn't realize we had to take a boat to the hotel we booked for ourselves but Abdul found out and arranged a boat for us! He even stopped to help us get some rolex's for a snack on the way home.

Epic safari !
5/5

We loved our trip to Tanzania - and the safari was the best part!! Suricata Safaris was great all along and our guide Ezechiel and cook Chaz were absolutely perfect!

We spent two weeks in Tanzania in end May-early June. We were on a "budget" for the safari and so decided to book the 5-day tour in tents via Suricata Safaris, a fairly new company, but with very good reviews and good prices. Organisation, via Hilary, the owner of the company, was pretty smooth.

We had a pick-up from the airport to the hotel in Arusha, before the Safari the next day. We met three other people that were joining us for the tour. Although the massive jeep was fully packed, it was nice and entertaining to do the safari with a bigger group!

We visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara national parks. It's the pretty standard itinerary in the north of the country. All these parks are great - landscape are completely different from one to another and they are amazing when it comes to seeing wildlife.

We saw lions, hyenas, leopards and plenty of smaller cats - sometimes with a bit of action but it depends on luck! Our car went through a massive pack of thousands of gnus and zebras which was pretty amazing. We also saw elephants, giraffes, hyppopotamus, black rhinos, buffalos etc.

Ezechiel, our guide, was excellent! Very friendly and forthcoming. He knew his way inside out the parks and drove us to the right places! We were in no rush and stayed as much as we wanted at each spot, taking nice pictures and enjoying. He studied nature and wildlife and so was knowledgeable on the animals. He also taught us some Swahili... but it's a pretty tough language... ^^

Our cook, Chaz, made impressive dishes! We were expecting to eat the same thing during the whole safari, but not at all! Plenty of fruits and vegetables cooked in nice dishes. Even had home-made pizza in Serengeti :D

Some recommendations:
- going just before peak season was a good choice
- bring a good camera zoom if you want to take nice animal pictures (200mm is the minimum)
- bring some binoculars (we bought a pair for 25€ and they did the job perfectly)
- part of the safari needs to be paid in advance, Transferwise worked well for us to avoid banking fees
