We did the four day safari, and our contact was very responsive at all points in the planning. We were picked up and brought to a nice lodge the day before, started on time each day and the guide/car were very good. Would recommend this packagae to friends and family, it was nice without breaking the bank.

I have come back from Africa for one week now. However, I still could not stop thinking the days of safari with Heaven. He really have done excellent job and have been a true friend to me and zoey.I have to list the merits of safari with Heaven.
1. he is really born to be a safari guide. he could see the rhinos and leopards from a long distance while we could not spot. so there is no pity during this trip and we have seen every animal and shoot the photos and vedios.
2. his driving skills are outstanding and that really matters if you do not want "africa make-up" all the way or spending too much time on the road during safari.
3. he is really a gentleman. he opens the doors everytime for us and remind us mind our head.
4. he is really neat which really matters too. he wears uniform everyday and keep the car clean everyday. the weather is hot during the days and we all sweat, but he is always fragrant.
5. he has a wide range of knowledge on animals ,local tribes, and Africa. we learned a lot about animals, local tribes and other stuffs during safari and meals. you really need a erudite guide during safari because he will tell you the reasons of animal behaviors. in this way, you will not only watch animals but also you can learn a lot.
6. he takes us out for birds after safari trip and we communicate on lifes, love,animals,dreams and so on. he is really warm-hearted and kind, and I bet you will like him so much.
7. he is guide and driver indeed, but he seems more like friend, teacher and philosopher. besides, he is really a talent in music and you must not miss the songs that he wrote and sang, wow, you will enjoy so much more the safari with listenning to his songs during the trip.
8. I will come back and will still ask for Heaven to be the guide. I still remember that on the first day ,he said to us that you will only bring back the memory worthy remembering lifetime. Yes,indeed.

without your painstaking effort , I would not book the Lion King Adventureand have enjoyed so much during the trip. Caroline keep in close touch with me through emails of itinerary and costs for almost 2 months. no matter what our request are, she always remain patient and customize our trip. I am really grateful for what she has done. As our trip is set, then Florida has take over the accommodation,transportations and all other elements of safari. She makes the itinerary come true. We really love the accommodations and always see the driver waiting for us in the exit of airport and holding a signboard with our name on it. Besides, she has customized red wine and white wine with our name on them and we really feel surprised and thriiled. Everything is arranged so perfectly by her!!!

Caring and knowledgeable
My family of three went on a six-day safari covering Tarangiri, Ndutu Area, southern and central Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater. We stayed in lodges and tented camps - one seasonal and two permanent tented camps. All accommodations had their charm and provided great food and service. We particularly appreciated the closeness to nature provided by the tented camps. The itinerary and accommodations were decided and organised in a great way by Daudi.
We had amazing days together with our guide Michael. He made sure we got "first row seats" to all the incredible experiences available, while at the same time being nice and considerate to the animals and other cars. We saw lions fighting, cheetahs hunting and capturing a gazelle, a large flock of wildebeest in motion right next to the car, giraffes, elephants, zebras, rhinos, leopard, hippos, impalas, elands, crocodile, +++. He managed the rough roads in a superb way. We had great talks and got good answers to all our questions. Michael is truly a superb "kinder egg" (three in one) driver, spotter and guide :-)
Both Daudi and Michal showed in a great way that they cared about us and wanted us to have the best experience with the preconditions provided. Thank you!

Unforgettable 4-days-journey to the heart of wilderness with outstanding guide and cook
We were able to spend four incredibly exciting days in the wilderness of Tanzania. Even today, a few days later back on European soil, we can hardly believe the amazing impressions. The unreal beauty of the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater moved us to tears. We would never have thought that we would get so close to so many different wild animals. A lion even peed on our jeep. But thanks to our clever and funny guide Frank, we never felt unsafe. Frank is a safe driver who always had the right instinct with his impressive knowledge and infectious enthusiasm for nature. Our cook Emanuel was also a treasure. He cooks incredibly tasty and conscientiously, even vegan meals were no problem for him. They both deserve the greatest possible support!
Of course, if you book the budget tour, you shouldn't expect luxury accommodation; it was much better: camping among hyenas and wild buffalo - where else can you experience something like this? The safari was also an impressive experience for my 5-year-old son. Frank and Emanuel did a great job looking after him.
The only thing we would do differently next time is the hotel in Arusha: it is noisy, dirty and moldy in all the rooms. We would also have liked more flexibility with payment, e.g. by credit card or bank transfer.
Nevertheless, we absolutely recommend Crater Explorer because of the well-planned tour, the lovely people Frank and Emanuel and the unbeatable value for money!

We are just back from the best trip of our lives! I was planning this holiday since so much time as it was a birthday present for my girlfriend, when I bumped into MANDRILL I felt it was the right one, and I wasn’t wrong! Ronald before ours leaving was just perfect the communication was great, he planned everything perfect and reply to all the questions I had. When we arrived we met Bob. Let me tell you about”uncle Bob”: he’s a perfect driver, a good listener and full of knowledge. He bring us everywhere and also he made for us some changes during our stay that put the level of our 10 days safari even more high. We can’t complain about anything. The lodges were amazing, tidy, cozy, the people were all so kind that it’s impossible to describe. He also organized for us an extra activity just because he heard us talking at dinner about this beautiful bird called Shoebill, and, thank to him we have been able to stay in the swamp looking for him. Absolutely fantastic!!!
This whole trip was amazing, the safaris were terrific and thanks to bob we spotted all the Big five plus thousand of marvelous animals.
