Great experience from start to finish! Our guide Kapande was friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to be with for the 3 days. He made extra effort to make sure we saw all the animals and was punctual when taking us to our river safari, walking safari, and village tour. Would highly recommend.

SO GOOD!
It was so good a tour. Our guide, Lenard, is such a wonderful and good guide. So nice and helpful. The tour was great. We saw so many of the animals as possible. In day 2 one of the wheels was broken, but that didn’t stop our tour. Lenard called another car to pick us up and continue our tour. The day after we was ready to go again. It was such a great weekend and we can so much recommend Lenard as your safari guide!

The tour was incredible. The meals and accomodation were even better than we expected. We would definetely recommend Thinkscene Safaris and please ask for Brenda Idza, she was of soo much assistance. Her knowledge of the park was exceptional! She knew where to look and the time we could see almost all the animals other than the big five. What caught my eye even more was the communication even before the travel. The, transfers from the airport, accomodation and dietary needs of each of us was well taken care of. Susan gave us several options to choose from and we chose Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge. From start to finish, through the exploring, booking and holiday was excellent. We were given a really good idea of the options available to us and could not have chosen better. I felt really far more comfortable booking a Safari through Discover Africa with Susan than I would have done booking from home. I felt the knowledge and descriptions gave us the information we needed to make any informed choice. I could not fault Sabi Sabi Bush lodge. Great staff, fantastic very high quality rooms, great food and an amazing safari experience getting up close and personal to many, many animals. A truly wonderful experience for my wife and I. An outstanding safari experience with Suricata!
My friend and I had a great experience with Suricata! We chose a mid-tier, 3-nights/4-days safari.
Glory, who handled the itinerary and booking, impressed us with her professionalism and warmth. She diligently curated a high-quality package for us. Daniel, our local contact & briefer, was a pleasure to work with. He personally briefed us before the safari, giving us insights into what to expect, and later, he met with us after the safari to gather feedback. He was dedicated to ensuring we were happy with every aspect of our experience.
Our safari guide, Damian, was not only enjoyable company but also a skilled spotter, ensuring optimal chances to spot the Big 5 at close quarters. We benefited from his extensive knowledge of animals, birds, and their habitats. It was evident he was passionate about creating the best safari experience for the group. Chef Moosa prepared delicious picnic lunches every day.
The accommodations at Angata lodges in Serengeti & Ngorongoro, and the Suricata Boma lodge near Terengire were fantastic. The service at all three lodges was truly special. Suricata’s team made sure we had a great experience from start to finish.

The itinerary was changed from beginning to end. I had to ask what was going on. Driver didn't speak English. 2nd guide didn't inform me about the changes. At the crater gate waited for hours and Brayt blamed it on the IT guy in the office. Disorganized.

Exemplary Outfitter for an Unforgettable Safari
We chose the 4-day mid-range group safari tour to Serengeti, Terengire and Ngorongoro with Suricata, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our decision. We worked with Glory to make our reservations and it was seamless, she answered all our questions diligently and helped us arrive at a decision quickly. Daniel was there in Arusha to receive us and provide a quick briefing (detailed daily briefings were provided by the guide each day).
Our guide was Damien, his expertise and professionalism were unparalleled. He was not only knowledgeable about the local wildlife and ecosystems but also passionate about conservation. He was a great spotter and his intimate understanding of animal behaviour led to incredible sightings like a pride of 11 lions trying to hunt buffaloes or early morning playfulness of the elephants, making each game drive an exhilarating experience.
The accommodations for mid-range package were mostly tented lodges. These were meticulously maintained and offered the perfect blend of comfort and immersion in the natural surroundings. We had breakfast and dinner at the lodges. Lunches were prepared by our group's chef Musa, which we mostly had at picnic areas inside the parks.
There were last minute changes to the itinerary and accommodations in Arusha and one of the lodges. The changes to the hotel in Arusha was communicated to us on the day of arrival to Arusha. Our only feedback to Suricata was to communicate any updates to the bookings as early as possible. Daniel received the feedback positively, expressing appreciation for the insights shared and demonstrating a willingness to incorporate suggestions for further improvement.
For this reason and everything else mentioned above, I'm very impressed with Suricata. I wholeheartedly recommend them for anyone seeking an unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania!
