We stayed in Central Serengeti in June while the migration was also taking place in this area. Very impressive. We stayed there for 10 days and therefore also had days when the migration had already passed through the area. Those days it was not easy to spot the wild animals. Overall I expected to see more cheetahs, elephants and leopards. There is no shortage of lions, but here too we were always there with easily 70 other cars, all moving continuously to see the lions just a little better and tourists shouting at the animals. Not the relaxing and romantic safari that I am used to from private parks in, for example, Namibia or even the national parks in Zambia. The roads are dramatic even though you pay a large fee to enter the park and the rest camps are places where you really don't stop for fun.
I have the feeling that they can also make the roads much more 'romantic'. Sometimes you have a beautiful river, but you don't see anything because the road goes in
Read more the completely opposite direction. The Masai Mara does this much better.
Overall I also thought the guides were very poor. They pushed the animals too much and often locked them in.
Overall, I would rather spend my money on a safari in Zambia, Namibia or Kenya, for example.

I'm not capable of putting into words how amazing the Serengeti was. Camping under the stars (even for me, who never slept in a tent in his life - it was amazing) combined with being a visitor to nature's home and observing the animals - just amazing.

Best National Park in the world to see unlimited wild animals (including the big five). This never ending savannah grassland is out of the world experience.

Huge park that has enough room for everyone to spread out. Lots of animals if your driver is good enough to find them. Only once did we encounter a crowd of vehicles and that was around a recent kill by a pride of lions. Beautiful park. We did the balloon safari option and it was freakin amazing to see the park and animals from above.

There are no words to describe Serengeti. It is a must to stay preferably 2-3 days to be able to enjoy different areas of the park, which is huge. There is so much variability in terms of landscape and wildlife that you see there, that it is incredible.

Without a doubt, it was one of the best trips I've ever taken.
I was not only amazed by seeing and searching for animals but also by the natural beauty of the place. We were able to spend a night at Engiterata Adventure Camps, a beautiful place! At night, we heard lions and hyenas near the camp—it was amazing!
The camp staff prepared breakfast for us outdoors at dawn while we watched the sunrise.

You have to see the vastness of the Serengeti with your own eyes. You see huge herds, but you also drive for 2 hours over meadows and since then no animals or anything else.
