The Serengeti was absolutely breathtaking and one of the highlights of our Tanzania journey. The sheer scale of the landscape, the incredible wildlife and the beautiful changing light made every drive feel special. We had some amazing wildlife encounters and loved experiencing the vastness of the savannah. Some of the popular sightings were naturally busy with several safari vehicles, but it did not take away from the magic of being there. The Serengeti is simply a place that you have to experience for yourself.

Serengeti felt bit underwhelming for us as there wasn't many animals that we see.

Serengeti has an incredible variety of wildlife, and what makes it even more special is that the area still feels wild and untouched, without being overly developed. You can really feel that the local people have a genuine love and respect for the wildlife and nature here. It was an absolutely unforgettable safari experience.

Serengeti is the most incredible natural area in Africa that I’ve ever visited and the scenic views were incredible and the number of wildlife was amazing

What an experience! I still get goosebumps when I think about it! Having been there and witnessed the wildebeest migration and seen sooooo many animals do up close…. What a treat… what a privilege!

Visiting the Serengeti is an absolute dream come true! Seeing the endless plains stretching out forever and watching the massive herds move across the savannah during the Great Migration is just mind-blowing. It really feels like walking right into a live wildlife documentary, and catching the big cats out in the open makes every moment unforgettable.

This is supposedly the "endless plain" and it certainly stretches for miles. It's savannah which gets very dry in the summer and although overrun with tourists, the guides talk to each other so anything encountered by one safari, gets reported to the others. It is much easier to see the wildlife here than in most other parks.
