Serengeti is amazing. Its a beautiful park, amazing landscape, animals are respected and wildlife is there, in your face. I stayed in a camp inside the park and it was the best decision i could have made.

It didn't have that wow factor you'd expect from reading about it or watching TV documentaries. Wildlife depends a lot on where the great migration is at the moment. You will still see animals (leopards, gepards, hyena, elefants, giraffe, gazelle, hippo) but not in abundance if you are not at the right spot. Also there are lots of tourist cars.

By far the best destination. Abundant wildlife and big enough so that the safari vehicles were not crowded together

Absolutely stunning scenery. So flat with large herds of wildebeest and zebra. Also Lions, elephants, rhino, hyena, impala. A must visit location.

I went to central Serengeti and didn’t know that animals were migrating to the south. It should be said when I booked my trip, then I could change destination.

The ability to off road during this time of the season allowed us to get up close to watch animals stalk prey and even observe some kills. Truly unbelievable wildlife sightings in the early morning, particularly lions and lion cubs, and cheetahs. Following the sight of the endless migration of wildebeest and zebra was such an experience. Outstanding sightings of all types of rollers, starlings, swallows, bee eaters, crowned plover, kestrels, vultures, martial eagles, and even a kingfisher!
