I loved the parks of Serengeti, Ngorongroro, and my favourite, Kilimanjara! Tanzania has a lot of beautiful national parks, great servic, friendly people, and I also felt safe there. I had no issues with security. I am very happy with visiting Tanzania, and I will come again one day in the future.

It was a privilege to be on Safari in Tanzania. The organization of our Safari left nothing untouched so we were free to focus on the extreme beauty of the animals, countryside, places we stayed and the people we met. The Tanzanians who were responsible for making our adventure 5 star were attentive, kind, caring, engaged with their jobs and some of the nicest people we have ever met. Every place we stayed the meals were well thought out and frankly very delicious, this included the picnic lunches in a variety of picnic areas.
I think I didn't quite believe how prolific the wild life would be. Our Safari guide from Wayfarer, was tenacious in making sure we saw the Big Five, but also other more allusive animals such as leopards and cheetahs- we saw 84 lions on our 8 day safari, many of which were cubs. We felt his commitment to wanting our adventure to be the best! The twigas or giraffes were there in all their splendor with many babies as well. It was quite unbelievable at times the impact of being in Tanzania, on Safari, had on us.

I loved every second of our trip and could not be happier with all the experiences and lovely people we met. The people with their diversity in culture, positive energy and calmness as well as the rich nature and animal kingdom are incomparable and I am sure I will visit again!

Its a big country, get ready to drive a lot on often bumpy roads. The animal encounters are not as close up as in other African countries. The people are very kind. Food is good and all the lodges we
Visited were excellent. Clean rooms, friendly staff and good food.
The Serengeti is a must and so the Ngorongoro Krater.

Safari Operator - Seregenti Smile
Guide - Zakaria

I decided to book Safari in Tanzania order to celebrate my wife's 30th birthday and I couldn't have been more happy about my decision. Some of the key highlights during our Safari was definitely the wild cats, giraffe, stay in tents inside Serengeti park, local fruits and the kind people.
Tanzania is easily one of our top vacations as there are lots to see and explore.

I would like to thank our Safari Operator and especially the guide to make our vacation a memorable one.

One-week holiday shared between Zanzibar island and Selous NP Tanzania. Zanzibar: warm welcome (karibu), kind people. Scenic costal landscape, great marine life experienced while snorkeling. In some parts unfortunately (e.g. NE coast) daily low tide is an issue, but on the other hand, providing opportunity to long-distance reef-walks, discovering "residual" marine life also to non-diver, non-snorkeler family members.
Our highlight of the trip was definitely the safari to Selous NP in SE Tanzania. Diverse wild life experienced from the closest possible distance, except elephants all desired and expected games observed directly closely, including lion, rhino, buffalo, giraffe, warthog, hippo, hyena, zebra, impalas, aligators, etc. Appeared sometimes just as if we were part of the film "Lion King" :-). Our special thanks to our two NP guides who did their best that we see the most of this wonderful wildlife treasure of the nature!

An incredible trip to Tanzania

My wife and I always wanted to take a safari to see African animals in their natural habitats. After extensive research to determine whether we go to Botswana, Kenya, South Africa or Zambia, we decided Tanzania had the largest concentration of animals in all of Africa in the smallest geographic area, it was easy to decide on Tanzania. We then researched safari tours of all types, and again, comparing many different companies' offerings, we determined that the tour offered by Lion King had an excellent 8 day itinerary which not only included lots of animal watching, also included nightly stays at tent lodges that were all amazing. We booked the tour, and went in January, when the temperatures are cool. Everything that the tour promised was exactly what was delivered. The safari was incredible. The tent lodges were like 5 star hotels with incredible views. Our tour guide and driver, in a very comfortable Toyota Land Cruiser, was could not have been more friendly and knowledgeable
Read more of where the animals would be. My wife and I are in our 70's, and we had no problems with this trip. The people of Tanzania, without exception, were kind, caring and wonderful to be with. Eight days of sunny days with about a 70 degree high. What are you waiting for? Go to Tanzania and have an experience you and your spouse, friends or kids, will never forget.

We had four stops in Tanzania: two nights in Dar es Salaam, two nights in Stonetown, three nights in the Nyerere game reserve, and three nights in Paje. They added up to a fascinatingly varied experience. Tanzania, as we had been warned, is a poor country but with almost no violence or aggression. We did not have contact with anyone who was not friendly or helpful. There was none of the persistent and aggressive begging we encountered in Nairobi. Western observers might think that Tanzanians could do more to help themselves, by clearing up the mountains of litter everywhere, for instance, but their society seems to work for them. All four of the hotels we stayed in had very high standards and were immaculately run. They were very much part of the positive experience. The weather (and even the seawater - a big plus in my eyes) was intensely hot but somehow that was part of the overall picture. I cant speak more highly than to say that we are already looking at flight schedules to see if we can return at the same time next year.
