The gorilla watching was in particular an unforgettable experience, the lodges in nature were extraordinary, this safari was truly wonderful.

We loved the ziwa rhino preserve. It was amazing to be so close to those beautiful animals. We did multiple boat tours on the Nile. And saw different animals each time. I love safaris. We saw many, many elephants giraffes, seven leopards, only a few lions. Our highlight of uganda was the gorilla trekking and the chimpanzee trekking. The small villages Were eye-opening
Of the hardworking people of this country. Our guides made our trip.

The most surprising, beautiful, vibrant, friendliest country I've ever allowed to visit

Starting in Entebbe we had a pleasant arrival transport organized from the company. It gave us already a hint of upcoming days - the city vibes were interesting to observe. The first location was a lovely hotel very close to the Lake Victoria with lots of beach bar/restaurants. A nice place to be and felt safe walking around the area as two women. Moving from there to Queen Victoria National Park we had the chance to observe so many different wild life and our guide Sam was amazing! We learned so much about all different types of plants, birds and animals. The pace of the safari was exactly what we wished for - enough time to observe, ask questions, discuss and take pictures. The chimpanzee and gorilla trekking was the reason we came to Uganda and it was worth it! Very well organized. The animals were close enough to observe but stayed in distance to feel safe. All credits to the trackers and people allowing for this experience as they check out where the animals are before we start to
Read more hike. We were lucky to not walk a long distance and it took us less than 1 hour to reach the spots where the animals were. But we were told this might be several hours for e.g. the Gorilla trekking - so be aware of this! The 1 hour planed for staying in the bush with the Chimpanzee / Gorilla is satisfying enough. Please include the visiting of the Twin Lakes as this lookout point is very very beautiful.
We had perfect weather conditions with rain during the nights and warm t-Shirt temperature during the day. Mosquito repellent was a must because of the humidity and the amount of mosquitos! All of the accommodations were amazing! They had everything we asked for - even laundry services. Keep in mind it is simple sometimes but the views, the service, the staff and the food were the best ever!
I very much recommend this trip with Nature Connect Safaris Uganda and wish everyone could do this experience once in their life.
