The best time to visit Zanzibar is during the Dry seasons, which fall over January and February, and then June to October. This is when rain is least likely to interfere with beach time and other activities. These periods also offer calm snorkeling and diving conditions, and good visibility. If you’re after tropical heat, January and February are hard to beat, but many people find the gentler temperatures over June to October more enjoyable.
