Our Kenyan tour included Samburu (hot and arid), Lake Nakuru (Flamingo and Rhino), another lake included a boat trip to get close to Hippo and hunting Fish Eagle. Finally the amazing, incredibly beautiful Masai Mara, lions and cheetahs on kills, an amazing variety of bird life - ground hornbill, secretary birds, vultures, ostrich and more - wildebeest in astonishing numbers, warthog, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, gazelles, antelopes, elephant and finally a beautiful scene of around eight lion cubs gleefully greeting thei mother.

The bird life was second to none. We visited Lake Nakuru and saw around a million of flamingos. As well as pelicans, cormorants and other birds. At Lake Naivasha we saw eagles, kingfishers and other birds. On the Masai Mara we saw a lilac breasted roller and a lion cub. We visited the Mara at the time when all the wilder beast we there and there were thousands of animals to see.

The friendliness of the Kenyan people, the beautiful and diverse country with it's abundance of wildlife. Our stay in Kenya took as to four game parks/reserves and also to a beach resort in Mombasa. Would I go again? YES!

Kenya is one the the best place to plan a good safari, unfortunately in the last few years mass tourism has ruined the real Safari mood.

Kenya has diverse ecosystems which are home to a diverse variety of wildlife including birds, not to mention its sheer scenic beauty.

There have been a number of new parks in Africa the last years, but Kenya still has an advantage in terms of tourist facilities, good roads and connections.

The road to Marsh is an adventure in itself. If thats what your looking for...go there. If you want to experience an all inclusiv holliday... don't go there.
From Archers post to Moyale the scenery is like a dessert and the road wil eat your car but for how long? The chinees are building a road so nice you won't believe what you see. People are friendly but in this area also robberies occur so you need protection from a soldier or police officer.
The food we have been eating, we brought our own. The campsite of KWS was fine, they have showers, and sanitation was fine.
The weather was very warm. The wildlife is basic out the of the park but in the parks there's a lot of game to be seen.
If you want to drive to Ethiopia and further you need to heve your paper work ready before you go there. For us it was not possible to cross the border.

Always present sun and wild animals (including birds of all colours from the rainbow) created unforgettable atmosphere and wetted appetite to see even more. On safari we travelled in a car with big windows enabling to admire the landscape. Stopping 2 meters away from a lioness basking in the sun was breathtaking. Kenyan guide was very polite, helpful and tried to answer all possible questions, which seemed to be endless like the scenery around us. It was definitely our best decision to go for our honeymoon.
