First of all we want to thank Sovereign Adventures for all the kindness they gave us and also for permitting us to do our safari by helping us to get our visa which was very difficult.
We had a fantastic time in Kenya with our guide Francis who was very helpful and knew everything about the trip, places , animals , countryside …. We will definitely come back to visit other places in Kenya and hopefully do it again with Sovereign Adventures and Francis if possible.
We went to Amboseli Park with beautiful views of the Kilimandjaro then 2 lakes (Nakuru and Naivasha) and we ended in Masai Mara Park. The hotels were very nice as well as the food. We saw all animals and plenty of them , this was a great experience. Everyone was so nice to us and Kenyan people were very welcoming. I do hope that we will be able to go back soon.

Ensure you book your safari from Karibu Safari. Raymond was the best!

2 nights spent in a luxury tent and 3 full days of activities, something to remember!

This was great experience. Totaly diffrent from Europe. Nairobi was interesting… not for walking on the streets as white person but great as experience. Overal semi-safe. Too much of a poverty. The best was Maasai ostrich farm and riding the ostrich - dream came true.
Safari in Masai Mara excceded our expetations. We saw the whole Big five and many different animals. It was great. We would do it all again anytime.

Kenya's wildlife and nature are unforgettable

We had an amazing time in Kenia and saw a lot of different animals.
We almost saw all big five, with only the lepard missing. Which is quite difficult to catch.
Every park has it's own charme and are really welcoming.
We visited Lake Nakuru, Ambosseli and Masai mara.
Our higlight was all the elefants in Ambosseli.

A big let down was the change of the price politic.
At Masai Mara f.e. the few was increased from 70 to 100$ and the entrance wasn't for 24 hours anymore.
They are also planning on increasing it to 200$ by june. Wa of milking the tourist.
Another problem was the opening hours from 06:30-18:30, which meant that it wasn't possible to see the night life of the big cats.
But it's understandable because the park is beeing protected by night against the poarchers.

We would recommend it to everyone, but you have to plan to go as early in the morning as possible and stay the whole day in the park with lunch inside.

I went to Kenya as a volunteer , and I was with poor kids that were abandoned or abused. Although it was the sad part of our trip because you see a different world and my heart was breaking everything I was there, their smiles was making my day and made me happy.
After volunteering , we went for safari… Best experience ever. Safari in Masai Mara was unique. They say that it is a once in a lifetime experience but personally I can’t wait till the next time I will travel to Kenya and live this again

Travelling in Kenya can be tiring because of the long road trips, but it definitely worth it !

Second time in Kenya. My impression is that the country developed in fifteen years and it's definitely moving forward. I think the overall level of services, welcoming and staff professionalism is good compare to some other countries I've been. We generally found our trip enjoyable because we didn't suffer any unexpected issue or lack of organisation, etc.

However, keep in mind that the road trips between the parks can be long and exhausting. Plus it is sometime necessary to depart early in the morning. But it totally worth it ! The scenery is exceptional and the wildlife we could observe was so numerous ! Yet, keep in mind that Kenya is a touristic destination, so in the parks we sometimes felt hard to find ourselves in the middle of nowhere enjoying the moment : so many Land Cruisers and vans around the Lions !

Regarding the security, we felt safe everywhere, in particular in Nairobi where the hotels are equipped with high end security equipment...

We participated in a 6 day safari. Each destination brought great satisfaction and appropriate camps and places of rest and overnight stays.
