The safari of a lifetime thanks to Geofrey and Lion King Adventures!
If you are thinking about going on a safari in Tanzania, there is only one thing I can recommend with certainty: ask for Geofrey as your guide.
In seven days he gave us an experience we will never forget. His knowledge of nature, animals, and Tanzania is simply extraordinary. Every day was a fascinating lesson; he explained everything in the smallest details and answered every one of our questions with enthusiasm.
His experience is evident at every moment. He is not just a guide; he is an exceptional professional who knows the territory, animal behavior, and every corner of the parks like the back of his hand. Thanks to his expertise, intuition, and incredible ability to read nature, we were able to see all of the Big Five and an impressive number of other animals, often even before other vehicles noticed their presence.
But what impressed us even more was his constant attention to our safety. In every situation we always felt calm and protected, because every decision he made was the result of his great experience.
The care he dedicated to the vehicle was also impeccable. The car was always perfectly prepared, clean, and checked, a detail that shows how much he cares about his work and the experience of his guests.
Geofrey always did everything possible to satisfy us. He was patient, kind, helpful, charismatic, and always smiling. Every choice he made had one goal: to give us the best safari possible.
We can honestly say that we fell in love with Tanzania, and the credit is mostly his. He was the one who transformed a simple safari into a journey full of emotions, wonder, and memories that we will carry with us forever.
When we return to Tanzania, we will without any doubt ask to have Geofrey as our guide again. For us there is no better choice, and we will recommend him to anyone who wants to experience a truly special safari.

Magical and Unforgettable
We had an incredible safari experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Camillus. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the wildlife and the area (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara).
He always took the time to answer our questions and shared many insights that made every game drive even more memorable.
His enthusiasm and keen eye for spotting animals made each day exciting and unforgettable. He truly went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we had the best possible experience, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide.
Saying goodbye was much harder than we expected because he had become such an important part of our experience.

12/10 experience!
We did a 7 day mid range private tour including tarangire, 3 days Serengeti, ngorongoro crate and lake manyara. Our holiday with lion king was more amazing than we could have ever imagined!
Everything was well thought out and planned. Communicating prior was very thorough. I had 0 stress with any of it. We were picked up from the airport even though our tour didn’t start until the day after. Our driver Simon was great at explaining the process and the pick up from the airport and was also very personable.
Our actual tour guide Camillus was 12/10!! He was very kind, wise and has over 25 years of experience in the industry. He took us to all of the right places and was extremely knowledgeable about everything! He had “binocular eyes” and was able to spot so many things from so far away! We saw ALL of the big 5 and more in just 3 days. We even saw over 50 lions in total. And we saw hyenas eating ostrich eggs and challenging a lioness. None of this would have been possible without our amazing guide Camillus!! We learned so much about one another and about Tanzania. We were extremely sad to have to leave Camillus as we had all grown so close during our week holiday.
Our hotels were perfect for mid range. Our favorite was land of nature camp- glamping tents in the middle of the Serengeti. We heard and saw animals both while awake and sleeping. There was even a buffalo grazing outside our room for over an hour in the middle of the night. the staff at each hotel were extremely accommodating and friendly. I am vegetarian and had no issues with food.
Overall, we got so much more out of this trip than we ever expected. I hope to come back to Tanzania and plan to book with lion king and our driver Camillus.

We recently returned from an absolutely flawless trip booked through LionKing Adventures, and it was truly the adventure of a lifetime. Our custom itinerary covered the spectacular Northern Circuit, and every details was organized perfectly.Our private safari guide, Shabani, was exceptional! He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and professional. Every morning he would enthusiastically ask us what we hoped to see that day, and he always delivered. Lacking
Our driver Freddy M. Was exceptional at finding wildlife. Freddy was dangerously aggressive driver as squeezing a lady on her pedal bike onto a truck(happened). Freddy did not hear or chose not to hear my request for lunch box( fruit) till I got upset. The transfer of drivers to get to the airport was surprise and not agreed on, caused us concerns and unnecessary trouble, stated in emails guide to take us to airport period. Freddy only talked to our daughter and basically ignored Donna and I.

I haven’t even left Tanzania yet, but I had to leave this review because our 7-day mid-luxury safari with Lion King Adventures exceeded every expectation.
Like many people, I was overwhelmed by all the safari companies, and reviews helped me make my decision. I’m so glad I chose Lion King Adventures. From the moment we booked, Ellie was patient, responsive, and made the planning process seamless, even when we made changes to our itinerary.
Everything was incredibly well organized. Every transfer, hotel, park entry, and activity went exactly as planned, and we didn’t have a single issue during the entire trip.
Our guide, Khalifah, was outstanding. As two female travelers, we felt completely safe the entire time. He was knowledgeable, professional, kind, and worked tirelessly to make sure we had the best experience possible. Thanks to him, we were able to see the Big Five! If you’re booking with Lion King Adventures, request Khalifah—I would ask for him again without hesitation.

An experience of a lifetime
Booked a 6 day safari with Lion King. Visited 4 different parks. Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorangoro and Manyara. All quite different in terrain. Can't fault the service from Lion King. Our guide was amazing and more than met up to our expectations. He was able to spot and identify animals that, at times we could barely see through our binoculars! Friendly and courteous, he always happy to answer our questions. Accommodation including food was amazing, though a little over indulgent! We went for a mid-priced package but received 5* treatment; a little OTT at times! All in all, a fantastic trip full of happy memories.

Best trip ever
We spent 10 incredible days with Lion King, starting with a visit to Arusha followed by eight days on safari. During our trip, we explored Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire National Park.
This was our honeymoon, and without a doubt, it will remain the most special and unforgettable trip we’ve ever taken.
Our first guide, Sharhan, showed us around Arusha, and he did an amazing job. He was joyful, positive, and shared so much with us about the city’s culture and history. It was the perfect introduction to Tanzania.
For our Kilimanjaro hike, we were accompanied by Saladin. We reached the first camp in a single day, and he made the experience both enjoyable and memorable. He was knowledgeable, encouraging, and adapted the pace to our fitness level. He also had a great sense of humor and taught us a lot about the mountain, its wildlife, and the surrounding nature. We spotted several monkeys along the way and had a fantastic day with him.
Finally, we spent eight days on safari with Amani, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was always punctual in the mornings while remaining flexible whenever we were running a little late. His knowledge of the wildlife and the different parks was exceptional. He was an excellent driver, incredibly patient, and always made sure we had the best possible experience.
Not only did he help us spot the Big Five, but we also saw five leopards and two pangolins, something incredibly rare. We truly feel that this trio of guides brought us incredible luck, but the reality is that Amani’s expertise, experience, and ability to read the bush made all the difference. We were also fortunate enough to witness the Great Migration in the north.
One thing we especially appreciated was the respect Amani showed toward the animals. We didn’t want to contribute to overcrowding or stress wildlife with too many vehicles around them. Whenever he saw that too many safari cars had gathered around an animal, he preferred to move on and find another sighting elsewhere rather than add to the disturbance. That meant a lot to us.
We also stayed at Lion King’s lodge in the Serengeti, Nyota, which was truly one of the highlights of our trip. The lodge was beautiful, the staff were incredibly welcoming, and the overall experience was exceptional.
Another memorable moment was visiting a local orphanage, where we were able to donate school furniture. We genuinely appreciated that Lion King gives back to the local community by supporting charities and local initiatives. It made our trip feel even more meaningful.
We ended our safari with the Lake Manyara Treetop Walk, accompanied by Simon. He was knowledgeable, funny, and shared fascinating stories about Tanzanian culture and the different tribes. He made the experience both educational and entertaining.
Communication before and during the trip was seamless. The team was always quick to respond to our questions. We were mainly in contact with Jovitha and Nickson, and everything went smoothly from the planning stage to the very end of our trip. Even while we were in Tanzania, we had a few phone calls to adjust some details, and everything was handled quickly and effortlessly.
The payment process was also secure and straightforward. We paid by bank transfer using Revolut, and everything went perfectly.
From beginning to end, Lion King was reliable, professional, and extremely well organized. They were also flexible enough to add activities during our trip whenever we wanted. Throughout our honeymoon, we truly felt we were in good hands. Several hotels, as well as the Lion King team, surprised us with thoughtful gestures to celebrate our marriage, which made the trip even more special. There was always plenty of water and refreshments in the vehicle, and the safari car itself was comfortable, clean, and reliable.
Finally, we were amazed by every place we stayed, whether it was a luxury tented camp or a hotel. The hospitality was outstanding everywhere we went. Every member of staff welcomed us with kindness and made us feel at home. It truly elevated an already unforgettable experience.
We wholeheartedly recommend Lion King to anyone looking for a stress-free, safe, and unforgettable safari experience.
This has been, by far, the best and highest-quality trip we have ever experienced in our lives, and it is a honeymoon we will cherish forever.
