We experienced something truly spectacular in Tanzania, and none of it would have been possible without the incredible planning and organization of Suricata Safaris.
But beyond all the places, wildlife, and unforgettable experiences, we were lucky enough to meet Luther, who made this journey even more special. More than an amazing guide, we found an incredible person and a true friend.
We shared days filled with learning, conversations, laughter, and moments that we will carry with us forever. Luther didn’t just show us Tanzania — he made us feel like we were part of it.

Fabulous safari in Tarangire with Steve!
We had a fabulous experience with Steve! He is highly experienced, attentive, and prioritized wildlife viewing over a lunch schedule. Thanks to him, we saw giraffes, lions, and elephants by the river! He also shared a lot about Tanzanian culture. Highly recommended!

Perfect 4 day Safari including the big five
We did the 4 day Safari Tour with Suricata Safari. The Communication was very easy and friendly. Our Guide Melita was the best! He showed us the best places for the animals, we had the opportunity to See the big five and many other animals in 3 different Parks. We also loved the Hotels and the Food (Suricata Boma lodge was unbelievable!). We had the best time! I would recommend it to everyone.

Unforgettable Safari with Melita

We had an absolutely unforgettable safari and can highly recommend our guide, Melita!
From the very beginning, Melita was incredibly friendly, likeable, and always ready to make us laugh. At the same time, he always gave his best to take us to the right places at the right time and provide us with the best possible wildlife experiences.
Thanks to him, we had amazing game drives in Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and the Serengeti. The absolute highlight was that we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five! 🦁🐘🐆🦏🐃
We had so much fun throughout the entire safari. Everything was fantastic – the exciting wildlife experiences, the great food, and the wonderful accommodations.
But the best part of our safari was definitely our guide, Melita! His friendly, funny, and dedicated personality made this trip truly special and unforgettable.

Perfect Safari organization!
Suricata provided great organization first during email communication, always precise and clear and then during the Safari our driver Meleta was full of information and helpful in everything.

A breathtaking morning with Serengeti's wildlife
Searching for big cats was top on our list, and choosing Suricata Safaris turned out to be the right decision.
Our driver, David, knew the reserve remarkably well. Early in the drive, he pointed out a cheetah mother resting on a termite mound with her small cubs scatterd around her—an incredible moment to watch through binoculars. A bit later, we came upon four or five lionesses stretched out directly along the edge of the dirt path. David handled the vehicle with extreme care, keeping a safe distance while letting us take pictures.
Super smooth driving, great vehicle condition, and an unforgettable day out in the savanna. Strongly recommend booking with David if you plan a trip here!

Gerald did his best on hunting the animals! He was very friendly, explained everything, he’s the bes
It was our first Safari and definitely it was the best experience of our lives. We did the 4 days Safari with Suricata Safaris. Our guide Gerald was incredible, Serengeti was the park we loved the most, because we were able to see a lot of animals (lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and more) after that we slept on a lodge inside the park and it was amazing! Ngorongoro is incredible also for its hugeness, we were able to see other animals like the rhino, hippo, buffalo, wildebeest and much more. We will finish by the game drive on the Tarangire!

Amazing experience, plethora of animal diversity up close
We had an incredible experience with Suricata and our amazing guide Gerald. We booked a 4-day tour through Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire and were fortunate to observe a very diverse group up close including leopard, many lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffs, rhinos, hippos, etc. Gerald always made sure to get us great angles and very close whilst also sharing knowledge about each animal habits and curious facts. The accommodations provided for each night also stood out with good cuisine and much needed comfortable shower and bed.

Gerald was really enthusiastic and resourceful
We booked our safari with suricata safari, Gerald was really resourceful, he knew where the animals were , he took us right in front of the animals all the time and gave us best view and best shots . Overall I really enjoyed it and will definitely recommend them .
