We just returned from a 5-day safari in Tanzania with Suricata Safaris, and it was absolutely the trip of a lifetime. From start to finish, the organization was flawless – everything ran smoothly, on time, and with great attention to detail. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing, which allowed us to fully enjoy the adventure.
Transportation was also perfectly arranged. We were picked up from the airport on arrival and dropped off again after the safari, making the whole experience seamless. On top of that, someone from Suricata Safaris met us both before and after the trip to make sure everything was clear, well prepared, and that we were taken care of at every step. This personal touch made us feel safe, welcomed, and truly valued as guests.
Our accommodations were fantastic throughout the trip. Suricata Lodge was cozy and welcoming, the Golden Crescent Hotel offered great comfort and service, and the camp at Siringati was an unforgettable highlight – falling asleep to the sounds of nature and waking up surrounded by the wilderness is something we’ll never forget. Each place had its own charm and added something special to the journey.
A huge part of what made this safari so memorable was our driver and guide, Elias. He was outstanding in every way – knowledgeable, passionate, and with an incredible ability to spot animals from miles away. Thanks to him, we were able to see the Big Five and so many other amazing wildlife moments. Beyond his skills as a guide, he was also kind, patient, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had the best possible experience. Elias truly elevated the entire trip.
The itinerary was very well thought out, with a perfect balance of game drives, breathtaking landscapes, and time to relax. From the endless plains of the Serengeti to the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, every day brought something new and magical.
Overall, this 5-day safari with Suricata Safaris exceeded our expectations in every possible way. The organization was spot on, the transportation seamless, the accommodations excellent, and Elias made the journey truly unforgettable. On top of that, the trip was worth every penny – the quality of service and experiences we had far outweighed the cost. If you’re considering a safari in Tanzania, I cannot recommend Suricata Safaris highly enough – they created memories that will stay in our hearts forever.

Amazing birthday experience!
It was an amazing experience, from the moment the picked us up in the airport to all the food and services provided. The staff was always very helpful and we were amazed by the parks and animals. Everything was great, they even cooked a cake for my birthday which I really appreciated it. It’s a unique experience and we would def recommend it with Suricata. We got to learn a new culture, see beautiful animals in their natural habitat and enjoyed the company of our group which turned out to be a perfect fit. Asante sana to our guide Elias! Lutta was genuinely kind, knowledgeable without being excessive & pleasant company.
Lutta was our guide for a 7 day safari in Tanzania. He was very knowledgeable about all the animals that we observed & their habits. We really appreciated how eager he was for us to see as many animals as possible. What is more, he is like an F1 driver (“Lutta Andretti”), yet very safe. The packed lunches (& breakfast) were delicious. We had such an amazing experience & would recommend him & Suricata Safaris to anyone.
We chose the luxury accommodation version & every accommodation was absolutely beautiful. The Serengeti Kubu Kubu lodge had amazing views. We watched a herd of elephants pass in the distance as we watched the sun set. The staff in all the accommodations were very kind & welcoming. Each with its own unique quality & form of entertainment. The amenities were top notch. This company very much exceeded our expectations.
I would also highly recommend the hot air balloon ride. It was a wonderful experience; a spectacular sky view with other hot air balloons in the distance & an aerial view of the animals. We watch a warthog sprint through a field of high grass & a herd of zebras galloping through the Serengeti. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
