Met at the Airport with a big smile and a handshake at an untimely hour my adventure began. Nic gave me a brief rundown of what to expect over a very cooling beer in the pub. Friendly, sociable and what turned out to be a friend for life. Small group made a difference as we went over the roles, the bikes and route. Nothing was ever a problem as I was well and truly welcomed in to the Meander Uganda family. Wildlife was amazing with tour guides provided where appropriate. Landscapes and routes were epic. I have to say thank you to Nic and his team for a genuine holiday of a lifetime.

Exceptional Safari Experience
We booked a 5 day Safari with Camping in the beginning of July and couldn’t be more happy about the whole experience.
The booking process and any questions have been handled promptly by Safina via WhatsApp. Whenever we had any questions she was available 24/7 which made this exciting trip so much easier for us.
Our tour guide Calvin was exceptionally knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. For every animal that we saw he gave us insights around that animal and told us interesting facts. In addition he mastered the tough roads in and around the various parks very well and we felt safe with him a 100% of the time. Thank you Calvin for this unforgettable journey. You are so kind, fun and professional and we could really see that you love what you do! We wish you only the best for your future!
We weren’t sure what to expect regarding the food with camping but our expectations have been far exceeded. Richard and Erick performed miracles with the food and it really felt like a home away from home. Special thanks to Erick for the entertainment during the dinner service, we really appreciate the family like atmosphere. We had so much fun together!
We want to mention the camping experience as well! Camping in the middle of Serengeti and up the mountains in Ngorongoro was a very unique and special experience that we will never forget. You can be sure to be safe during the night, there’s hot showers, clean washrooms and a thousand stars in the sky!
All in all we can recommend this trip a 100%. The process was swift and easy. The guide exceptional. And the food phenomenal.
We are so grateful for how kind everyone was and for bringing us closer to the Tanzanian culture! We can’t wait to be back in a couple of years!

What a fantastic unforgettable experience
We had the best guide ( Masudi!). He was so knowledgeable in animals, culture and fauna that we learned a lot during the trip. We show incredible things thanks to his outstanding experience. The hotels were all unique in difference ways and of high quality ( we got the mid-range luxury option). Food was always warm and good and having some wine and beer was also very nice ! The car was of high quality and dispute of the difficult roads we had a very good trip in every sense. We just can’t wait to come back and for sure we will choose wakanda and Masudi as guide if possible again. Thank you so much, Asante sana!

Wonderful experience with the perfect driver
From the moment we met our driver Alex we felt most welcome. He is funny and always happy and our three kids (4, 7, 9) just loved him.
The safari jeep was spacious and well equiped, there was always enough water and Alex is a great driver. When we showed up at the agreed time he was always already there.
The accomodations were also superb, we had grat food every day and a good nights sleep.
Alex knew his way around and he had always the perfect timing to see lots and lots of animals.
We finished by going to Mombasa by train from Voi. Everything went just perfect!
I can only really recommend the tour with Splendid Vacations. We had the most perfect time! It is 100% worth the money👍👍👍🐘🦛🦓🦒
