Wonderful safari, super tour guide, very reliable!
We booked the tour with Muddy very spontaneously and were amazed. The 3-day safari was like a dream for us. The transfer went really well and Muddy drives very safely. Driving through Mikumi Park with Muddy is absolutely worth it. He knows the park really well and does everything he can to make sure you see as many animals as possible. Everything was also great with the lodge and we didn't have to worry about anything, everything was done for us. It was a unique experience. Thank you very much!

Wonderful experience for a solo traveler
I traveled solo to South Africa for the Christmas break (Dec-2024) and found MoAfrika during my search for a tour operator. As a solo female traveler, below are my top priority items:
- Safety
- Making sure I get my $$$ worth in experiences
- Having the same experience that a couple, group of friends or a family would have
I got connected with Lavender who went above and beyond to make my trip memorable. She listened to my needs and helped me narrow down the reserve / lodge I should stay at in KNP (I opted for the 4day / 3night the Greenfire lodge that I absolutely loved). Throughout my trip she stayed connected to make sure I was enjoying my safari and got to see the animals. She also helped me with planning my day tour at Johannesburg (with my guide Thapelo who was absolutely outstanding in narrating the history). I left KNP and Johannesburg with fond memories and felt I had gained a friend (even though our conversations were purely on WhatsApp). Thank you MoAfrika and Lavender for this amazing experience!

Excellent from start to finish!
We loved our African Safari experience. The 5-day, 4 night length was just right for us, as we got to experience three of Kenya's fantastic parks that all had something unique and different to offer. We saw so many amazing animals. We saw the big 5, the ugly 5, and many, many more!
Our guide was Raymond and he is an awesome driver. The off-roading and 4-wheeling was like an entire bonus experience because he was such an expert driver. He was helping other driver's with flat tires and being stuck in the mud, but we never got stuck. We loved Raymond! The hotels selected for our overnight stays were all top notch and service across the board was wonderful. From the first time we made our first inquiry, until we said good-bye to Raymond at the airport, the communication was timely and well done. We have a family of 5, and while at first I was a little disappointed we had two other people in the jeep with us, we actually had fun meeting new people and in the end made very good friends with one set of our safari mates. We thought the price was fair and would do it all again in a heartbeat. I would highly recommend the tour, the tour company and the tour guide.

Attention to details
We booked our trip with Ester and Duncan was our driver/ guide. The itinerary was planned very well. The lodge(s) were inside the park and made it easier for early morning game drives. Duncan was extremely helpful and made certain we got to see the big 5 animals. We encountered an elephant in heat on two different occasions and Duncan made sure we were safe. Ester was able to assist with securing a vehicle for city trip of Nairobi as well.

Constantly amazed by the amount of wildlife around!
We had an excellent trip! 5 days in Nairobi followed by a 4 day 3 night safari. We toured during the short rainy season/ end of high season and the resorts were amazing! There were hardly any guests at the resorts and our tour operator upgraded our Lake Nakura hotel due to the fact that prices had come down. We saw every animal except a wildebeest including all the cats! Highly recommend the hot air balloon flight over the Masai Mara and try not to schedule it the same day you leave for the airport. Getting up at 4 AM then a 7 hour drive to catch your flight home makes for an extremely long day. All in all a great vacation.

Such an amazing country, the wildlife is unbelievable
We did a week safari followed by 6 days in Zanzibar and both were sensational. Firstly, our safari was with Serengeti Smile who looked after my family of four brilliantly, and we saw all the big 5 and more. The whole experience was amazing. Then Zanzibar … we did a couple of nights in Stone Town and 4 nights in a villa on the beach. Such a relaxing way to finish. Can’t recommend Tanzania enough.
