Gametrackers were the perfect tour operator with our trip which included both business and tourism destinations. In the planning process, the tour operator was highly responsive to all our questions and requests in order to compile a custom made trip for us. The driver was always punctual (if not early), transported us safely (van was equipped with a speed governor) and accompanied our drives with interesting and relevant information about the scenery and history of the places we visited! We always had access to water and the tour van was diligently cleaned by our driver every night in time for a fresh start each day.
I would recommend Gametrackers to all travellers with an interest in seeing Kenya!

I had an unbelievably, amazing time!
This was my first time on a safari and I did a 4D3N private trip, including Gorilla trekking, Chimp trekking, Kazinga channel boat cruise, visiting the local Batwa people, Lake Bonyonyi and Queen Elizabeth NP game drives. I saw all the big animals available..elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards...I also saw hippos, chimpanzees, baboons, eagles, crocs, crested cranes (the national bird) and more. Trekking was great! For someone like me who struggles with breathing sometimes, I was able to do the hike comfortably with the aid of a porter.
I chose Frena because of the fuller range of activities offered in the tighter time framed programme and it did not disappoint. I did every single activity covered, had ample time at each location and was able to rest well in between. My guide was Issa. It was seamlessly planned taking into consideration timings, food and accommodation, paperwork admin and stopover breaks. Frena's team were so friendly and were always responsive, despite international time differences, from initial booking to completion. Pre-trip, I had to prompt Fred to provide comfirmation sometimes but he always replied quickly so no issue. Everything was handled by Issa whilst on the trip and you could just sit back as you were very well looked after. Very reliable service.
The selection of accommodations (mid range) was fantastic; friendly and attentive service; clean, comfortable rooms with running hot water showers; and, beautiful locations offering wonderful views. Lovely meals though they were more catered to international guests, rather than offering local dishes. Zebras, Uganda kobs and impalas roamed the extended hotel grounds at Lake Bonyonyi.
Issa is brilliant at navigating what was sometimes difficult terrain, especially high up in the mountains on narrow roads, and driving long distances. Very professional driver! Ugandan main roads are in good, smooth condition though. The car is comfortable with full AC, pop up roof and it even comes with power sockets so you can charge your devices on the go - so handy! Bottled drinking water is always available too. The changing landscapes of Uganda are breathtaking! The car allows great views of the animals on the game drives.
As a solo woman travelling, I felt so safe and well looked after! Issa was brilliant company. We had great conversations and Issa taught me so much about Uganda and the culture. Issa is kind, flexible and does what he can to make sure you enjoy your trip. For instance, I asked to try local food and Issa arranged it, he helped me set up mobile money, and we stopped to take photos when I asked. Thank you very much Issa!!
I would recommend Frena and hope I can do another tour with them one day!

They created a diverse, well-balanced package with varied stays and an amazing safari experience.
Our 8-day safari through Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli, and Taita Hills was an absolutely unforgettable experience! The organization was excellent, and we loved the variety of accommodations included in the package. It was great to try both camping and staying in stunning lodges, which made the trip even more special.
Our guide, David, was fantastic—friendly, flexible, and very knowledgeable. He never rushed us, unlike some other safari drivers, allowing us plenty of time to observe the animals and fully enjoy each moment.
We were lucky to see an incredible amount of wildlife, including countless elephants, giraffes, and big cats, as well as many adorable baby animals. Every day was filled with unforgettable moments.
After the safari, everything was smoothly arranged for our trip to Diani Beach, which was the perfect way to relax after such an amazing adventure.

Brilliant and caring
We were a big family group from three different parts of the world all meeting up at Nairobi air port. With ages ranging from under ten to over seventy, Morning star catered well for us all!!
Our two drivers in two Land Cruises really took care of our needs and drove so well! There was a real sense of adventure every time we went out on safari! We had plenty of bumpy and dusty ‘roller coaster’ rides! Fun and Exciting! I felt so safe!! We saw such a variety of birds and animals. Both drivers were knowledgeable. Masila knew about the birds and Willy, who was very attentive, was a font of knowledge about the safari animals. I felt lucky and honoured to be driven by such gentle and professional drivers!! Amazing experience!

Simply The Best!
Mtina is an amazing person and an excelent guide. Our one-day safari was an unforgettable experience. He showed us all the animals possible and informed us about interesting facts. All of that with a smile on his face. Thanks to this wonderful person, our trip will be forever in our memories!
