Fantastic service from a very friendly and knowledgable team
5/5

We booked our two day Safari experience with Wildlife Experience Tanzania based on their positive reviews, and we were not disappointed!! Davies remained in contact from the start, looking after all the transport and accommodation as well as the itinerary as we flew in from Zanzibar. Our safari guide Steve was amazing, super friendly and very knowledgeable on the diverse wildlife and locations we visited . We were lucky enough to catch sight of the big 5 even on our short trip, and I felt Steve managed to spot and direct us to things we would never have encountered ourselves. Very happy to recommend.

Catered to the client
5/5

Samwel and Bange really made the experience. I was lucky to have been placed with them. Samwel took the time to explain stuff that we were looking at. If it was a bird, a tree, or a little stream, he was knowledgeable and very informative. We got new passengers from another safari company and the new passengers were amazed about how Samwel would stop and actually teach us things. Not something everyone does!

Bange was the chef with us, he was very very kind, and always on time. He was very easy to engage conversation with and he always had a smile on his face. His food always came out top notch. Same with the new passengers, they mentioned that Bange’s food was much much better than what they had from their company previously. My only recommendation would be to bring your own binoculars!

I dealt a lot with Kelvin. Whether it was the hotel pickup, drop off, food, recommendations or anything really he was always super fast to respond, no matter what time of night or day. He made the administration part of this easy.

The hotel was decent, nothing at all to complain about. Seems like a good location close to things and polite staff.

Incredibly engaged, organized, professional and lovely
5/5

I have never met such an organized, engaged, and lovely agent as Edna from Antonio Safari. She put together a fantastic safari experience for us from start to finish, pickup to drop off. She was available 24/7 to answer all my questions and made updates along the way as we wanted to add things. And the safari itself was amazing, Michael our driver was on a mission to show us every last animal, so we saw every single one form lions to giraffes to zebras hyenas hippos and elephants etc and some we didn’t even know before!! Plus, Aetna suggested a fantastic lodge (Entim) for us that fit exactly what we were looking for. This was all around a wonderful, pleasant and exciting experience and I will definitely book the next one with Antonio Safaris as well!

A Safe, Well-Organized and Unforgettable Tanzania Safari Experience
5/5

Our trip to Tanzania exceeded all expectations. We were four female travelers visiting Africa for the first time, starting from Arusha and continuing on to Zanzibar after our safari. Everything was perfectly arranged by Genius Travel, from itinerary planning to on-the-ground logistics. The entire journey was smooth, well-organized, and made us feel safe and well taken care of—especially important for female travelers.

The safari experience itself was outstanding. It completely changed our perception of safety while traveling in Africa. The pace of the trip was comfortable, the vehicle was in great condition, and every day felt well planned. Our guide, Suma, was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He has a deep understanding of animal behavior and was often able to anticipate their next movements, positioning us perfectly for amazing views and photos. Thanks to his expertise, we were able to see a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big Five. His driving skills were excellent, making long game drives feel smooth and relaxed.

The accommodations arranged by Genius Travel were another highlight. All the lodges and hotels were clean, comfortable, and well located, with a level of quality that far exceeded our expectations. The overall experience offered exceptional value for money, proving that this was a thoughtfully curated trip rather than a standard package.

Overall, this was a safe, professional, stress-free, and truly unforgettable journey. All four of us were extremely satisfied and would confidently recommend Genius Travel and our guide Suma to family and friends. We are already looking forward to returning to Tanzania in the future and traveling with them again.

Fabulous!
5/5

Dearest Raphael, Peter, Godson and our cooks Exaud and Philippo, this is my very first time in Africa and the most memorable trip of a lifetime. Starting off at a Maasai village I was able to wear the Shuka, dance with the tribe and learned how to make fire in 7 minutes! Wow! Our first national park is the Tarangire National Park, the herd of Elephants 🐘 we saw is truly magical! There were also Waterbuck, Zebras, Gazelles and Impalas in the park! Another fascinating thing we saw were the hundreds and hundreds of Baobab trees! This includes the incredible huge termite mounds mostly seen near the trees! 2nd day, we went to Ngorongoro Crater, the largest caldera in the world! We saw the Lions and Hyenas! It is a natural wonder! I remembered the movie the Lion King way back in 1994 where I watched it as a 9-year old boy! Little did I know that I will see Africa face-to-face at 40! Age is just a number! There were hundreds of flamingoes in the lake plus a rare sighting of the Eastern Black Rhinoceros! 3rd and 4th day, we went to the Serengeti National Park, another unfogettable experience! We were lucky to see 3 cheetahs with a kill - a Grant’s gazelle! As a birdwatcher, a lifer for me is the Secretary Bird and the Hamerkop! 5th day, I went to the coffee plantion at Meru Paradise View! It’s such an entertaining farm where I learned to make coffee step-by-step from separating the 3 layers of coffee berry to achieve the coffee beans. I learned how to use the giant mortar and pestle and roast the coffee beans and grind them again! The final product comes with some coconut chips! It’s highly recommended and educational! I was also able to see Arusha Cultural Heritage! Such a great sight! Tomorrow will be my final tourist spot - the Serval Wildlife! I can’t wait to the pet the Lion! 🦁 🇹🇿 Karibu Tanzania! Asante sana! ❤️

a very good local tour company
5/5

I chose this local tour operator after comparing many others. I was quite worried before departure, but my safari organizer Kelvin Bonith and safari guide Ezekiel were absolutely amazing. The hotels they booked were exactly what I wanted—no last-minute changes or unexpected issues at all.
My driver was a pleasant surprise. He’s an excellent driver; even on difficult, muddy roads in the rain, he drove steadily and never got stuck. He’s also very clean and keeps the car tidy every day. He’s incredibly hardworking—he took us out to look for animals as early as 6 a.m. every day, and we only returned to the hotel after 6 p.m. He always tried his best to take us to see whatever animals we wanted to find. He’s such a kind person and shared so much professional knowledge about animals along the way. I really hated to leave him, and I will definitely look for him again on my next trip.

A seamless, reliable and memorable experience with Blingson Safaris.
5/5

When plans change unexpectedly during a trip, you want experienced operators dealing with you and making you feel relaxed and accommodated – Sarah at Blingson is such an operator!

We spent months planning and just recently returned from an incredible safari experience with Blingson Safaris and we wish to express our sincere appreciation for the outstanding service provided by its friendly and accommodating team. From the very beginning, our representative (the lovely Sarah) was attentive, professional and truly accommodating of our wishes. Communication was excellent throughout: clear, timely, and reassuring - and she remained consistently available and in contact with us for the entire trip, ensuring everything ran smoothly and addressing any questions with care and efficiency. This was especially apparent when there was a strike at the airport and our second leg of the trip was cancelled - her reliability gave us confidence in the hour it took her to rearrange an entirely different leg.

The organisation, and also our excellent driver/guide Jackson ensured the execution of the tour was seamless. The experience offered remarkable value for money, combining comfort, seamless logistics and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

As an experienced traveller who has worked with many companies over the years, I can confidently say that the level of service we received was exceptional. Sarah’s attention to detail, responsiveness, and genuine commitment to client satisfaction were truly impressive. I highly recommend Blingson - especially Sarah and Jackson, whose dedicated service, along with that of their wonderful colleagues - to anyone seeking a seamless, reliable and memorable safari experience in Kenya.

We had a nice experience with the company and Damas. We visited Ngorongoro and saw the big 4. Would suggest someone interested in a safari to contact them and use them. They are very reliable and with many years of experience in this industry

Trustworthy, responsive, friendly and very professional - Highly Recommend
5/5

Planning Phase:
Planning a safari can be so overwhelming because there's SO many variables and you never know what is legit!
I compared many quotes and made many calls before picking 'Beyond the Plains'. With 1 phonecall, I felt and immediate sense of trust!
Sammy was quick to respond, grasped what was important to us very quickly and suggested tweaks that turned out for be BRILLIANT and was very professional and knowledgeable.

ON SAFARI:
When we landed, we were picked and treated very very well from start to finish!!
We chose to fly between all the parks (thanks for the brilliant suggestion Sammy 🤠) - this meant we had a different driver at each park. All our drivers were good - but we do have our favorites!

MONEY:
we felt so comfortable that we chose to pay the whole amount upfront!

It is important to go into the planning with a clear budget to start with. You can then tweak things once you connect with some from the team.
I found this company's website to be professional.

Another friend of mine used the same company and she had only good things to say as well

Overall - 10/10

Highly recommended!
5/5

I highly recommend Chalema for your safari bookings in Tanzania.

I booked a 9 day trip with Chalema Tanzania Safaris for February and had a great experience. I found them via safaribookings.com. Husna from the Chalema team was the travel advisor I worked with and she was very prompt in responding and providing me with multiple quotes based on my request.

My group was lucky enough to get the whole jeep to ourselves. No sharing the trip with strangers. Our assigned safari guide Harouna was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and ensured we had a great time. We were able to see the big 5 of Africa within our 5 days of game drives. It is true when people say the guide can make or break the trip. Our guide was very accommodating and catered to our request. Each morning, the jeep would come cleaned and ready for the day, which was very appreciated.

All the lodges and jungle camps that we stayed at were excellent. Good breakfast was available everyday and we were provided with packed lunches to eat during the game drives.

Just a few things to ensure you have a great trip :
- Double check the inclusions. Sometimes the included amenities are limited and not very clearly described in the quote. So talk to your travel advisor to ensure you understand the things and services that are included.
- Binoculars are not always available in the safari jeep, so carry your own. These are very helpful to see the animals up close.
