My safaritrip through Uganda was an amazing and beautiful expirience. It was perfectly organized, the lodges are in all places very good with friendly staff David , my guide was shown and told me things to know about people and nature. I was deep impressed about living standards in communities and villages . So I hope , that tourismus will bring jobs and money to the poor people and many guests will come to see that beautiful nature in Ugenda I had many emotional moments, and may be I will come back!

As visitors to South Africa from the UK, with a full agenda, we found ourselves with one free day. Friends recommended Gems of Africa. After contacting them, they were so helpful in preparing for us a day out in the Cape Peninsula which turned out to be a voyage of discovery for us and for our excellent driver, Jason.
He arrived promptly to pick us up from Goldeneye Private Venue in Somerset West. After a quick discussion about what we wanted to see we were on our way. For a long stretch, we were driven in a mini bus, along the coast road. banked with sand dunes to the left and some townships to the right, at our request . I wanted to see how “the other half “ live. Jason was informative, knowledgeable and interesting. I could write a book about the day out, but suffice to say that we all enjoyed the experience. Lunch was included in the price. Some of the highlights for us included seeing the penguins at Boulders Beach, the Cape of Good Hope and the vernacular railway up to the Cape Point lighthouse.
We were delivered “home” at the arranged time. Thanks to all who made it a day to remember.

Nice Safari in Kenia
We did six days safari in different parks in Kenia. Initially, we contacted this company for safari information. James quickly sent us several offers; however, I must say that after payment, communication was minimal. For a moment, we worried we were dealing with an unprofessional company. We arrived at the airport, and James was waiting at the exit. I don't think he's a very outgoing person; he didn't move from his spot until we approached him, much less make any attempt to help us with our luggage. Fortunately, Joshua, our driver, arrived, and I must say he's the complete opposite.Joshua is a very empathetic, communicative, and patient person. He drove very well without speeding or putting us at risk. He explained each park and each road to us and clearly knows his job very well. We enjoyed every place and every lodge. Even on our last day, before heading to the airport, he took us to eat at an amazing steakhouse. The car was in excellent condition and very clean. Overall, we can recommend this company, but their customer service could be improved.

Fantastic safari experience- Well organized and highly recommended!
They put together a plan that suited us very well, even for a larger group. The team was very solution-oriented and always made sure everything worked smoothly for us. The safari experience itself was excellent, with great driving and impressive knowledge of the wildlife. They are truly trustworthy people, and we highly recommend them.

Excellent Price to Value
We enjoyed the 3 days of Safari with baby bird tours very much. Everything from the pick up to the drop off at Diani Beach went very smoothly. We enjoyed the stay at the lodges as well as the variety of animals we have seen at Tsavo East and Taita Hills very much. Consequently we can only recommend baby bird tours for a safari at Kenya!
Amazing - gave us a trip better than we had dreamed!
They helped us with a late booking (our other tour operator lost his licence). All was efficient, low stress and easy. The trip was amazing. Get Isaac as your guide and have an amazing time. Excellent value for money with a few extras that made it even better. Saw at least 50 Golden Monkeys, 15 Gorillas including a Silver Back, mums and babies and lots of other animals, even toured around an island on Bonyonyi in a dugout canoe. All went better than hoped. Remember Isaac - great englizh, very knowledgable and he cared that we were happy and did everything to make that happen.
