Perfect communication
5/5

Communication before the trip was flawless, very quick responses and accommodating to our request.

Very good value for money, we had excellent resorts and a private land cruiser at a reasonable price.

Our guide Fred was also really knowledgeable and accommodating, he really made an effort to listen to our requests and help find our favorite animals. All in all, very chill guy to cruise around with for 5 days!

If I had to make one remark, it’s that we asked to swap the visit to the Masaai villages on the last morning with a walking safari, to which Dominic quickly replied that it had been arranged. On the day itself however, it turned out that it would just be a walk around the Masaai villages with two of the tribe members, and while it was definitely a wholesome and interesting morning, we had imagined a bit different, and would have been more than willing to pay the extra park fee for the extra morning.

All in all, beautiful trip, very well organised and value for money!

Severely unprofessional & a real lack of humility
1/5

I paid almost $3,500 for what I expected to be a once-in-a-lifetime safari experience with Inspired Feet. Instead, I received a trip that was disorganised, misleading, unprofessional, and nothing like what I was sold. I want to share my experience so others don’t risk getting scammed out of their dream holiday the way I did.
1. Mis-Sold Activities & False Itinerary Promises
Several activities clearly listed in my itinerary were never delivered.
• Day 6 – Relax at Olkaria: I was looking forward to this, but the guide dismissed it and never followed up.
• Walking Safari at Amboseli: Completely ignored, never arranged, and brushed off when I asked.
• “Full-Day” Game Drives: What I paid for was 6am–5/6pm drives (as other groups received). What I got were shortened drives starting around 9am and ending by 3/4pm—with only rare exceptions. This meant losing 4–5 hours every day of the experience I paid for.
2. Guide Onyoni – Extremely Unprofessional
On day one, he literally almost drove off without me, and another guest had to stop him. Communication was poor, his attitude felt careless, and the shortened game drives made it obvious he wasn’t interested in giving guests the experience they paid for.
3. Guide George – Terrible Logistics & Dishonesty
The last day at Amboseli was chaos: I spent 6 hours in the park and 4.5 hours waiting around, even though my hotel was only 30 minutes away. I was also stuck waiting while other guests (from different groups!) were dropped off and taken to a Maasai village I wasn’t even attending.
We arranged a sunrise start and I stood ready from 4:55am—only to be picked up at 6:15am with no apology.
Later, he hid in a restaurant having a full breakfast while the group stood waiting. When confronted, he lied about it to Fiona until she called him.
4. Fiona’s Changing Behaviour
Before and during the trip, Fiona was helpful. But after I formally raised my complaint—with detailed evidence—everything changed.
• My concerns were brushed aside as “hearsay.”
• Despite acknowledging issues on the trip, they refused responsibility.
• They even confirmed that they sacked the guide I was with—yet still claimed they had done nothing wrong and refused any form of refund or compensation.
If firing a guide isn’t proof of poor service, what is?
5. Overall Experience
Although the short time actually spent in the parks was enjoyable, the majority of the trip was overshadowed by wasted hours, missing activities, and unprofessional behaviour. What I paid for and what I received were completely misaligned.
Final Warning
Inspired Feet did not deliver the itinerary they sold me. They ignored multiple promised activities, wasted huge amounts of my time, and provided guides whose behaviour ranged from careless to dishonest. And even after admitting fault by removing the guide, they still refused any resolution.
Do not book your once-in-a-lifetime safari with Inspired Feet.
They are dishonest, and in my experience, they will take your money without delivering what they promise. Please protect your time, your money, and your trip—book with a trustworthy company instead.

A very honest and decent operator
5/5

Benson gave us a really good price for an 8 day and 7 night itinerary across Kenya. He helped us carefully plan the trip and customize hotels and lodges. He was very easy to work with and customer oriented. When we arrived in Kenya, he came to personally see us and introduced us to our driver/guide, Richard. Richard was very knowledgeable and made sure he gave us the best experience all along the way. He was attentive to detail and made sure we were comfortable and content. This was the most amazing time thanks to these two. We are delighted with the trip and we would gladly recommend to anyone!

Welcoming, full of heart and passion in every detail!
5/5

This safari in Tanzania touched our heart in a way we will never forget. From the very first contact with Lilian and the Zohar team and then again from the very first moment of the safari, there was a feeling of warmth, passion, and genuine care. Solo, our guide truly loved and respected the nature, the animals and the stories behind them, and that made every moment feel special. We learned so many things from Solo and we still try to understand how he could spot all these animals while driving, hehe. We are more than thankful to meet Solo and we will definitely book another safari with Zohar and especially with Solo!!!

We were travelling to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti Nationalpark, the tour that Lilian has recommended at a time were it was not crowded and the weather was perfect! We are happy that we completely listened to their recommendation as they really know best! We felt very good in each Camp, lodge and hotel. We stayed at Lolkisale, which was our favourite from all the camps. We fell in love with the Melia at Ngorongoro, had the greatest food at Lake Masek Tented Lodge, met the most wonderful guys at Singing Grass Camp and had a lovely last leisure day at Four Seasons.

While driving and sometimes spotting different safari cars, you could already tell, that they are not organized with so much passion and love to the details like Zohar is.
Our safari car was so well prepared and in such a great condition and Solo took care, that it stayed like that for our whole trip.

Zohar and especially Solo managed to fulfill all our wishes and dreams. We will carry the moments with us forever. We can recommend this safari with all our heart; it’s truly something extraordinary.

THANK YOU Zohar team for this wonderful safari and definitely see you all again soon!

An Unforgettable Safari Experience with Max & Meru Slopes!
5/5

Our safari with Max was truly the adventure of a lifetime! We traveled with Meru Slopes, and choosing them was honestly one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. But the real magic came from having Max as our guide.

He is not only an incredible guide but also an amazing driver — he always knew exactly where to go, like he had a secret map only he could read. We felt safe, excited, and always in the best spot at the perfect moment. We absolutely loved our dinners together, chatting about life in Tanzania, laughing, and learning so much about the country, the culture, and the wildlife. Max was always caring, patient, and SO funny! We truly felt like we were traveling with a friend, not just a guide. 💛Some of our friends and family were surprised that we decided to travel to Tanzania on our own and book a local operator instead of a travel agency from our home country. And honestly, we didn’t fully know what to expect either. But the entire experience with Meru Slopes was extremely professional from start to finish, and we can wholeheartedly recommend them.

Just make sure you ask for Max — he is simply the best and made our safari absolutely unforgettable!

A charming place with lots to give and excellent guiding!
5/5

You really get the full safari experience in a solid kit. The communication with the staff was sound, the cooking was pretty good, but above all was the safari guiding. The guide was really professional and charming. All in all, highly reccommended

Going on safari with Meru Slopes felt less like booking a tour and more like joining a top-tier wild
5/5

Going on safari with Meru Slopes felt less like booking a tour and more like joining a top-tier wildlife dream team.

Nuru, our guide, has an eyesight that defies biology. While other jeeps drove past bushes thinking they were… well, bushes, Nuru casually pointed out animals that apparently lived in another dimension. Leopards? Lions? Rare birds? He spotted everything — and always positioned the vehicle perfectly so we had the kind of views people usually only get from documentaries. In the evenings he turned into a philosopher-storyteller hybrid, sharing wisdom and tales that made dinner feel like a campfire with an old friend.

Gideon, our chef, is a magician disguised as a cook. The man produced feasts — plural! — in the middle of the wilderness, under conditions that would make most kitchens cry. Every meal was generous, delicious, and different from the one before. And he served everything with a smile big enough to light up the savannah.

And then there was Herman, second guide, driver, and quite possibly the kindest person on Earth. He was endlessly polite, endlessly helpful, and genuinely caring. He gave us an unforgettable tour through Arusha, and when our flight suddenly got rescheduled, he didn’t hesitate for a second — he offered, on his own, to drive us to the airport in the middle of the night. Who does that? Legends do.

Meru Slopes was an experience shaped by people who love what they do — and it shows. If you want wildlife, wonder and the warmest company imaginable, go with them.
