Discovered Uganda
5/5

It was a wonderful tour, especially thanks to our tour guide, Ronaldo, who thought us about the different animals we were watching and about the country.
A very special trip to remember.

Incredible safari
5/5

What can I say, an unforgettable experience! The credit for all this, in addition to the beauty of nature, undoubtedly goes to our guide Elli. With him, we not only saw unique places, but also had unforgettable moments. Everything was perfect.
Grazie Ellie

Benson Safaris made our Kenya–Tanzania anniversary trip unforgettable, with amazing guides
5/5

We travelled with Benson Safaris for our Kenya and Tanzania trip, and honestly, it was one of the best travel experiences we’ve had.

From the start, the whole trip was very well planned. We crossed the Kenya–Tanzania border and then came back into Kenya, and all the immigration and border formalities were surprisingly smooth. The team was always there to guide us and help whenever needed, which made a big difference.

The accommodations were another highlight. We stayed at some really beautiful places, but Olerai Lodge, Friends Camp and Khumbu Khumbu Luxury Resorts deserve a special mention. Each one had its own charm, and the food throughout the trip was genuinely excellent. After spending hours out on safari, coming back to a good meal and a comfortable place to stay was something we really appreciated.

Our guides, Martin and Zab, were a huge part of what made the trip special. Martin was very knowledgeable and patient, and you could tell that he genuinely enjoyed what he was doing.

And then there was Zab — the Mayor of Serengeti!

Honestly, I’m not sure how the trip would have been without him. He talked constantly, cracked jokes, knew everyone we came across, and somehow always seemed to know where the animals were. But beyond being a great guide, he became a friend during the trip. Some of our best memories are simply from sitting in the jeep listening to Zab talk about life, the Serengeti and pretty much everything else.

He has this wonderful way of looking at life — simple, positive and full of humour. By the end, it felt less like we had hired a guide and more like we were travelling around with a friend who happened to know the Serengeti incredibly well.

The actual safari experience was unbelievable. The Great Migration, the river crossings, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, hippos and all the smaller animals in between — there was something new every single day. What I really liked was that the guides didn’t just point out animals; they helped us understand what was happening around us and how the whole ecosystem fits together.

We did this trip to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, so it was already going to be a special trip for us. But Benson Safaris and the team made it much more memorable than we expected.

A big thank you to everyone at Benson Safaris, to Martin, and especially to Zab, the Mayor of Serengeti, for making this such an incredible experience.

We would happily travel with Benson Safaris again. And if we do make it back to the Serengeti someday, I really hope the Mayor is still around to show us around.

Excellent communication with clients — everything feels easy, smooth, and stress-free
4/5

You can feel confident that you won’t be left without support. My manager stayed in touch with me from start to finish, and she communicated in the way that was most convenient for me — by text. I know of cases where other tour companies simply stopped responding to clients once the safari had started, so I really appreciated this.

As for the downsides, there was some misunderstanding regarding the choice of hotel, but the issue was resolved successfully. I would advise other travelers to double-check all the details carefully.

Other than that, it’s an excellent tour company. I definitely recommend them.

Wonderful adventure with A Male Of Serengeti, Zablon!!
5/5

I want to say big big thank you to my new brother Zablon. He always thinking about what is the best for the traveler.
I was truly amazed when he took the opposite route from most guides and found so many animals in quiet, deserted places. It's undoubtedly thanks to Zabu that we were able to see all of the Big Five and every aspect of the beautiful yet harsh Serengeti. He believes that nature is something to be felt, not just seen. He also takes care to ensure that everyone in the Serengeti can enjoy it fairly, being considerate of other vehicles and travelers. This is why Zabu is known as "A Male of Serengeti," and he is undoubtedly a professional safari guide.

Also I apprentice to all the members of Benson Safari. They gave me a big welcome from our first contact via e-mail to the final drop-off to the airport.

Dolphine acted as a bridge between me and Benson Safaris, providing 100% support until the very last moment of my trip. Thanks to her kindness, I was able to enjoy the trip with peace of mind until the end. She is definitely a professional agent.

Mr.Benson who is the director of Benson Safari gave me a lot of lessons. Before trip I called Africa, but after trip I call Home. He truly loves nature and taught me to enjoy every single moment of life. He's our best boss.

With Benson and this amazing team, I'm confident everyone can enjoy safaris and life with a smile.

Once again, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to this professional team and end my journey with a big smile. I want to cherish this connection. This time, due to scheduling constraints, I traveled alone, but next time I want to bring my friends from Japan. See you again, Hakuna Matata🤞

Great value for your money
4/5

The tour itself was incredible, we saw so much wildlife. The vehicle was comfortable and fit for purpose (private 4x4) Be prepared to get very dusty and take plenty of snacks. The days are long and distances vast if you want to cover a lot of land like us (Nairobi to Watamu) We always felt safe and looked after.

Our driver was very punctual and never late. He patiently answered all our questions, helped us spot animals and find perfect spots for photos. The camps provided nice food and accommodation, making this a wonderful safari experience.

Great experience with Axis
5/5

We booked a four-day safari with Axis and had a wonderful time! We ran into a problem with our flights that caused us to miss the first day, but we contacted Asia, who always responded promptly to help us find a new solution. In the end, we decided to upgrade to a private tour by paying the difference, and it was an excellent choice. Our guide, Kel, was fantastic! With him, we managed to see so many animals and all of the Big 5 across the two parks (Masai Mara and Nakuru). He answered our countless questions and was always kind and accommodating with our requests. He gave us a 10/10 experience!! Plus, we had water available in the jeep, which turned out to be incredibly useful!
At Masai Mara, we stayed at the Sankare tented camp. It’s a bit basic (electricity is limited to a few hours a day), but if you adjust a little, it has everything you need to be comfortable (for example, there’s hot water all day). Almost all the staff are very welcoming and pleasant, and the food is great.
At Lake Nakuru, we stayed at the Buhara Hotel; here, too, the warm welcome from the staff makes all the difference. The rooms are small but modern, the food is delicious here as well, and there’s even a pool. Finally, the stop at Lake Naivasha includes some touristy activities like a walking safari, but we enjoyed them—and in any case, they’re optional. We don’t recommend the stop at the Masai village—which we didn’t like because it was a bit too touristy and not worth the price, considerino also the pressure if you decide to buy souvenirs (which you’re not forced to)—but this excursion is optional, Axis offers it as an option, which is still appreciated because some people might actually enjoy it more.
Overall, we recommend Axis for their prompt service, for the lodge/hotel accommodations considering the value for money, and above all for our guide Kel, whom we thank once again warmly! The tour can be paid for in cash or online by credit card, with a small 3.5% fee.
