We began our journey in Ghana then to Kenya for a short Safari and a wonderful three day experience of the beautiful city of Nairobi. From there we travelled to Zambia, Zanzibar (which was a charming page out of time), to Zimbabwe (worst mosquitos ever) Victoria Falls (exciting helicoptor ride), and oh yes, a magical Hotair Balloon ride over the migration in the Serengeti that ended with a champagne toast and a delicious American Breakfast on tables with long white table clothes. Our last stop was Capetown, SA, delightful Capetown. Great restaurants, lovely walkable neighborhoods and very friendly people. Carla planned every step of our trip of a lifetime with precisionand care. At every airport we were met with the man with the big smile holding the sign with our names on it!! Each guide was nicer than the last. Each one was respectful, tolerant, (I'm a senior who moved a little slowly). There was exceeding comfort in knowing that each leg of our trip was taken care of and if there were ever something that we needed and we couldn't take care of ourselves, Carla was a phone call away.
