A seamless, joyful adventure to Bwindi with an exceptional guide
We had the most wonderful and exciting time in Bwindi with our tour guide Muhwezi Shever. He picked us up in Musanze, Rwanda, drove us across the border to Uganda and up to Ruhija in Bwindi National Park, stayed with us throughout, and brought us safely home three days later.
Shever’s knowledge of the area — from the scenic road to Ruhija to the forest of Bwindi itself — truly brought the experience to life. His passion for bird life and nature was infectious, and thanks to him we spotted and identified species we would never have noticed on our own.
But beyond his expertise, Shever was simply a joy to be with. His easy-going warmth and good humor made every moment feel relaxed and fun — he was the kind of guide who turns a journey into something you find yourself laughing about long after you’re home. He handled all arrangements effortlessly, and whenever questions or misunderstandings came up he was always on hand to put our minds at ease.
We should also mention that communication with Jason at Safari Vacations ahead of the trip was smooth and straightforward from the start, making the whole experience stress-free before we’d even left home.
We could not recommend Safari Vacations more highly, and in particular traveling with Shever. He made our time in Bwindi truly memorable.

Great adventure
We had a wonderful trip to Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Our guide, Thomas, knew exactly where to go to see the different animals and thanks to him we saw lots of the big five, and so many others. He also had so much knowledge about the animals and the nature! We got enough time to just observe and enjoy the moments and he was so good at positioning the car so we got a good view and good pictures. So happy that we got to spend the whole day (7am-7pm) looking for animals, with a great lunch in the middle. A great adventure with a great guide!

Fun and knowledgeable

An unforgettable Day
Our Tourguide Francis showed us so many animals. We saw Lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalos, hyppos, crocodiles very close. Even a Leopard in a Tree. Oft course Giraffes, Zebras, gazelles, a Hygiene ... Within ohne Day.
Francis ist very experienced and friendly. I hope to do Safari with Jockey Tours and Francis again. Thank you very much!

First and Best experience in Safari!
My mother and me had beautiful experience in game drive in Masai Mara area! Our guide, John was willing to give us many suggestions to make our experience even better and let us choose what we want. He was super good at finding animals, especially we were so happy to find lions (we wanted to find the most) since it seemed like everyone was struggling with finding them during the period. I look forward to going back to Savannah again, and I trust that they will give us another great experience!

A knowledgeable, fun guide and at the same time a safe driver.
Easy to communicate both via WhatsApp and in person. Always accommodating your wishes and give good advice on questions.
Supporting of every query and making sure everyone was having a good time!
The timekeeping was very good both on the longer drives (when crossing the border between Rwanda and Uganda and also for heading out on trekking.
Our great guide was Muhwezi Shever, who also is very good for birding!

Excellent tour operator and service provider.
I had a very good experience with Heteroventure Adventures. Ruth was very responsive and timely in communication, she constantly checked on us and ensured all our questions were answered and needs met. The tour magnificent, we enjoyed great meals and hotel sevices. Our tour guide Mr. Jack was polite, he had very good knowledge sites, animals and community. I would recommend Heteroventure Adventures to anyone looking for awesome experience.

Best Safari Experience with Francis!
