Excellent safari, was thoroughly enjoyed, covering 2 different national park full day safari to Mikumi and Narrere as well as Masai tour, walking tour and boat safari, saw an amazing diversity of wildlife including 4 of the big 5 available to be seen there. Our tour guide Kapande made this 5 day safari outstanding, having great knowledge and ability to answer any questions about wildlife asked. I would thoroughly recommend this company for anyone planning a safari in tanzania.

Without a shadow of a doubt, the trip of a lifetime
We (a group of three) went on the 6-day Private Safari at the end of May 2026, right before the peak season began. Everything was well organized, and other than liaising with Meektrails before the start of the trip, we barely had to lift a finger.
The safari got started before we even arrived at the first destination. The drive from Nairobi to Amboseli already offered a glimpse of some of the wildlife we’d be seeing. Zebras, giraffes, and ostriches could be seen right off the highway. Our guide, Robin, had extensive knowledge of not just the animals, but also all the areas we drove through on the way.
It only got better from there.
Each excursion offered a unique experience - even if it was a destination we’d been to already. We watched the sun set over Mt. Kilimanjaro as herds of elephants made their way home for the evening, and came back the next morning to find dazzles of zebras and journeys of giraffes grazing on the vegetation. Each park and reserve offered different wildlife, and we were constantly seeing and learning new things. Across Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Nakuru, and Maasai Mara we were introduced to beautiful birds, incredible beasts, and outstanding locals.
What really brought the whole trip together was Robin. A good tour guide is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate. Robin was all of that and more. For the entire 6 days we were together, he not only taught us about animals (can you tell the difference between a Thomson’s gazelle and a Grant’s gazelle?) and Kenya, but also taught us some Swahili and was eager to learn some Estonian. He’s a master of maneuvering the truck and positioning it in the best possible place for photos. But most importantly, he’s just a fantastic person. Three of us travelled to Kenya, but it felt like four friends on the most scenic road trip imaginable.
If you’re even considering taking a trip to Kenya, do yourself a favor and go. Book with Meektrails, ask for Robin.

Axis Africa made the tour memorable, convenient, & organized.
I would like to give a shoutout to our guide Mr. Nelson aka Simba who made our tour memorable. Simba was punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable. He accommodated our requests on our private tour and tried to get us the best wildlife viewings possible. If you ever book a tour with Axis Africa, Simba is your guy. As for Axis Africa, they were prompt in responding to any questions or concerns and managed the tour well.

The safari met all our expectations.
We are very happy with the experience and with the staff, specially with Amiri who was our guide during our stay. He showed great experience, he created a great atmosphere and drove us to unforgettable places to see the wild animals from very close.
I would recommend this safari to my friends and family without any doubt. For the next time I have learnt that I would increase the length of the visit :D the 5 days passed super fast.

Excellent wildlife experience
We arranged a collection at our accommodation and the transport arrived bang on time. Being a small group tour we had only 7 pax onboard the very comfortable minivan It’s a long drive to the Reserve but worth every second.
There were comfort stops and bottled water if needed all day. The outdoor lunch (with a view overlooking a lake with hippos enjoying the sun) was tasty and filling, freshly cooked and served by Isaiah and was accompanied by water, soda, beer or cider. Absolutely delicious.
The highlight was the drive. Our guide Tshiamo was so knowledgeable and patient, and knew exactly where to find all the animals. We learned so much about the reserve itself, the vegetation and management of the land. We saw elephants, zebra, several types of antelope, water buffalo, cheetah, lions, hippos, white rhinos, giraffes and lots and lots of birds. There wasn’t a question asked that Tshiamo couldn’t answer.
This tour totally exceeded our expectation and we were so well looked after by professional crew all the way. We wholeheartedly recommend this company with a 5star rating. Thanks for making lifelong memories for us.

The hotels selected throughout the trip were excellent, offering great comfort, beautiful locations, and high-quality service. We were very happy with every accommodation.

Our 5 day safari was the best experience of our lives! Everything was perfectly organized, the crowd size was the ideal, and our guide, Amiri, was amazing. He explained so much about the animals and always knew where to find them.
The highlight was witnessing a real hunt in the wild and the big five. We also saw an incredible variety of wildlife and learned so much throughout the trip.

An Unforgettable Masai Mara Experience with Jocky Tours and best tour guide ever “Franci”
I booked the 3-Day Mid-Range Jambo Masai Mara Shared Safari with Jocky Tours, and honestly, the experience exceeded all my expectations.
Before arriving in Nairobi, I was a little doubtful, as many travelers are when booking online from abroad. However, on the morning of pickup, when I arrived at the agency and saw the large number of safari vehicles, travelers, and different tours departing, I quickly realized that Jocky Tours is one of the major safari operators in Nairobi, serving a huge number of guests every day.
The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly our tour guide, Francis. He was simply outstanding. His knowledge of the wildlife, ecosystems, animal behavior, and Masai Mara in general was incredible. Every time we spotted an animal, he shared interesting facts and information that made the experience much more meaningful.
Francis is also clearly very well known and respected within Masai Mara. Thanks to his experience and network, he consistently managed to position our vehicle in the best spots for wildlife viewing and photography. We got amazingly close views (less than 2m) of lions, cheetahs, Buffaloes, Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, hyenas and so many animals I can’t remember their names, allowing us to capture incredible photos and even memorable selfies with the animals in the background.
During our safari, we managed to see three of the Big Five: lions, elephants, and buffaloes.
The package was advertised as a mid-range safari, but I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. Jambo Mara Safari Lodge felt much closer to a luxury experience than a mid-range one.
Masai Mara itself is simply breathtaking. The landscapes, wildlife, and overall experience make it truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
I’m certain I will return again in the future, and when I do, I will definitely choose Jocky Tours again and I will be asking for Francis as my guide.
