An Unforgettable Wild Experience – Fantastic Value!
We spent an incredible three days with Lion King Adventures on a safari camping trip in Tanzania, and it was easily the highlight of our journey. If you want a true, immersive experience, the camping option is the way to go—there is nothing quite like hearing wild animals right outside your tent at night!
The entire team was outstanding. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and great company throughout the trip. We also had a fantastic camp cook who kept us well-fed with really nice meals and handled all the tent setups flawlessly, so everything was always ready to go when we rolled into camp.
Two major highlights for us were the night game drive, where we spotted some amazing nocturnal wildlife, and a walking safari around the Ngorongoro Crater, where we were lucky enough to see an elephant on foot. Lion King Adventures offers incredible value, great logistics, and an authentic safari experience. Highly recommended!

We do all our own travel arranging UNTIL Africa. We used Dolan and Safari.com to arrange this trip. We work hard for our money. I’m not kidding it was a lot of money. But guess what, it was worth every penny!!! After you experience this trip, you forget the money. Communication SUPERB, service TOP rate. The money spent is far from your mind when you experience the 2 safaris we did. We did 2 safaris through Dolan and they were BEYOND AMAZING. Dolan also provided freebies of which we are very grateful. We rarely return to a place twice but this may be the exception. Big thanks to Dolan and his team for the trip of a lifetime. Amazing experience!
We had a wonderful time in our 1 day shared Ngorongoro safari. Peter is an outstanding tour operator, he answered all our questions and always replied so quickly. Our trip was a last minute decision and it was the best decision! Our driver/guide, David, was knowledgable and friendly, and took us around to the best viewing spots for all the wildlife - we saw elephants, rhinos, wildebeast, buffalo, monkeys and best of all, a lion up and close! He also answered our questions and stopped whenever we wanted. The lunch was also so delicious, a home cooked meal, and plenty of water/drinks were provided. The safari vehicle was also super comfortable and has charging points so you’d never run out of battery - there was plenty of space for everyone to stand up and see the animals and also important for the tall people - plenty of legroom! Overall 10/10 experience and we actually booked another safari with Swahili in a couple of days time to visit Tarangire! Cannot wait!

From the first click on the website to the last drop off after the tour ... the tour was nothing but outstanding. Peter our initial contact went above and beyond to accommodate us. We had such a great time we booked another safari in 2 days time. Hopefully we will have the same driver/guide David. A wonderful driver and made sure we got to see the Big 5, which we did. Reliable and fun tour operator to meet your needs
Dextrip was a gem! We booked a mid-range 8d7n safari in Kenya including Masai Mara, lake elementaita, hell’s gate, ol pejata and Samburu.
I couldn’t ask for more! Antony helped us to plan and book the trip, he was responsive and answered all our needs. Our guides Thomas and Paul did exceptional, we were able to easily see the big five, Samburu special five and more! (A cheetah hunting, the striped hyena, a serval cat etc!) Thomas is very knowledgeable and funny, while Paul is kind and worked very hard to make sure we see the animals we want.
For the itinerary, I think it’s better to stay more days in the same conservatory rather than going to different places everyday, the long drives will cut your afternoon game drive short. I also would’ve skipped Elementaita because of the lack of flamingos during our times there, but other than that everything was perfect!
Dextrip is reliable and responsive, I would surely recommend!

Small business, that take cares of visitors and the animals, and provides well prized safari
We booked a 3 days safari that started with Tarangire on day one, Ngorogoro on day 2 and Magnara lake on the last day. We met our guide Sadi in Arusha and then drive directly to the first park.
He was very attentive, responsive to our needs, and passionate about his work. He was able to provide us with a lot of information and did his best to help us see a wide variety of animals (not just the Big 5). At the same time, he was careful to respect the animals’ well-being. He spoke English very well and was able to make himself understood despite our limited proficiency. Since we were on our honeymoon, he gave us time alone with my wife without us even having to ask.
The lodges were comfortable, well-equipped, and the food was excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

Abraham is an outstanding guide
Abraham Misganaw proved to be an outstanding guide. He was exceptionally reliable, highly professional, and genuinely attentive to every member of our group. What impressed me most was not only his extensive knowledge of Ethiopia’s history, culture, and traditions, but also his broad understanding of contemporary issues.
