Abu was an incredible driver and guide who knows how to safely navigate every nook and cranny of every road and is highly knowledgeable about the wildlife, their habits, and the history of the area. He knew where and when to find every animal and we not only saw the Big 5 but dozens of other species as well, including hippos and crocodiles. He was kind, considerate, and provided the highest level of service and a truly incredible safari experience! This trip with this tour group was worth every penny! Thank you Abu and thank you SAT!!!

The trip of a lifetime
We had the most amazing trip with African Big Cats Safaris. We did a couples private tour and had a 6-seater jeep to ourselves throughout the trip! The Safaris we enjoyed took us to Tarangire park, Ngorogoro crater, Serengeti and Lake Myanara! Pick ups, transfers, lunch, drinks and guides were all perfectly planned by the team of African Big Cats Safaris. Not only did we get to see a myriad of incredible animals at all of the remarkable national parks we went to in Tanzania, the trip itself was so meticulously planned to every detail that everything went so smoothly and efficiently - completely stress-free! The staff all showed such great professionalism and attentive communication throughout to solve any problems quickly. When planning the trip, they were very flexible to adapt the itinerary to what we wanted to do. The hotels that were booked for us were all luxurious, with comfortable rooms, welcoming and friendly staff, and delicious food. Our guide, Samuel, had an encyclopedic knowledge of all the animals that we saw, and we were so impressed by his ability to spot and identify animals so quickly! This made a big impact on our experience and made it even more enjoyable.
After the Safaris, our trip continued in Zanzibar, the management of which was taken over by a different partner tour company on the island - but this part of the trip was not as seamless. However, this was not the fault of African Big Cat Safaris, who continued to be highly supportive and communicative to help us when we encountered problems.
We cannot recommend African Big Cats Safaris highly enough. We had the time of our lives and it was in no small part due to the quality of the service that they provided! Hakuna Matata!!

During our gaming we saw so many thing and the driver was super nice he is very charming , listening to the guest, and very respectfull (william) . The food was , and other service was very perfect . Tatenda at the office provided a special itinerary for us. All communications and payments went smoothly. Tatenda our driver was very friendly and professional and we felt safe in his hands driving along the very rough roads. The accomodation and activities were fantastic. Thank you for a great holiday. Completly satisfied
We were very satisfied with this agency, which offered a tour tailored to our preferences, notably a day trip to the northern part of Serengeti National Park.
Our guide, Nestory, made sure the trip went exactly as planned, and we were lucky enough to see so much. The accommodations were top-notch, even though we didn’t really have time to enjoy them because we arrived quite late.
Importantly, Joel went out of his way to help us retrieve our lost luggage at the airport by having it delivered to the Serengeti National Park. He was a huge help!

Firstly I had an amazing time on safari, the food and accommodation was great along with the activities we did. However the organisation of the tour was poor. There was multiple times where we were an hour late leaving. When paying to be on safari, personally I want to leave on time to spend the most time in the national parks as possible. The communication was also poor, I had to ask to know what was going on and wasn’t informed unless I asked. My itinerary changed many times so I couldn’t follow it . I cannot fault the people, they were all so lovely and friendly (especially Julieth). However, due to the efficiency and communication I would not use this company again.

An Unforgettable Kenya Safari with an Excellent and Reliable Local Tour Operator
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Meektrails Safaris during our six-day private safari in Kenya. From our very first email to the end of our trip, everything was well organized, professional, and handled with genuine care.
Our first point of contact was William, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive throughout the planning process. He patiently answered all of our questions, explained the itinerary clearly, and always replied quickly whenever we needed assistance. His communication gave us confidence that we had chosen the right company even before arriving in Kenya.
Our guide, James, made the safari truly special. He prepared the Land Cruiser so that we could travel comfortably and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the journey. Whenever we encountered wildlife, he explained what we were seeing in a detailed but easy-to-understand way. During the game drives, he always tried to position the vehicle so that we could get a better view and take photos, while also giving us plenty of time to simply enjoy the moment.
The most unforgettable moment of our entire trip was in the Masai Mara, when we witnessed two lionesses hunting a zebra. We had hoped to see lions hunting during our safari, but we honestly never imagined that we would actually witness it with our own eyes. We were incredibly excited and thrilled! It was one of those unforgettable moments that we will remember for the rest of our lives.
James also went beyond simply being a safari guide. He regularly checked whether we were comfortable and whether we were satisfied with our accommodation and meals. He even introduced us to some local music, which made the journey even more fun and helped us experience the local atmosphere and culture. His friendly personality made us feel comfortable from the beginning, and by the end of the trip, it felt like we were travelling with someone we knew rather than simply being customers on a tour.
The itinerary was also very well balanced, taking us through Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and finally the Masai Mara. The accommodations and meals were good, and the overall arrangements were smooth. Most importantly, we never had to worry about transportation, schedules, or the practical details of the safari. We could simply relax and enjoy Kenya.
As Korean travelers visiting Kenya for the first time, choosing a trustworthy local safari company was very important to us. Meektrails Safaris gave us exactly the kind of experience we had hoped for: professional service, quick communication, a knowledgeable and caring guide, and an unforgettable safari.
We are truly grateful to William, James, and the entire Meektrails team for making our first Kenya safari such a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend Meektrails Safaris to anyone planning a trip to Kenya, especially travelers from Korea who may be visiting Kenya for the first time.
