Victor and the rest of the Mountain Warrior team provided us with an amazing safari experience. We saw all of the big 5 and many more, Victor made sure there was nothing on our must see list that was missed.

Amazing 3-Day Kenya Safari – Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha
5/5

We had an absolutely fantastic 3-day safari visiting Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

A special mention has to go to our guide, Joe, who really made the trip. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and patient, and clearly passionate about Kenya and its wildlife. Joe seemed to have an incredible ability to spot animals from miles away and always knew where to go to give us the best experience.

Each destination offered something different. Lake Naivasha was beautiful and peaceful, Lake Nakuru offered incredible wildlife and stunning scenery, and the Masai Mara was simply spectacular. We saw so much wildlife and had some truly magical moments that we'll remember for a long time.

I also want to give a big shout-out to Beyond The Plains Kenya Safaris. They were fantastic to deal with from the very beginning. Communication was excellent, they were very prompt with their responses, answered all my questions and kept me informed about everything throughout the planning process and during the trip. That made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free.

And of course, Joe went above and beyond throughout the safari, making sure we were comfortable, answering all our questions and adapting the experience to make the most of every opportunity.

The landscapes, wildlife and overall experience were amazing, but the combination of a great safari company and an exceptional guide made it even more special.

Highly recommended! Five stars all around. And if you get Joe as your guide, you're in very good hands! 🦁🐘🦒🦓

Organised, knowledgeable, kind, fun and well-priced.
5/5

Jambo! Our family of 4 had a fantastic time on safari. We did a 2 night, 3 day experience to include Tarangire, Ngorogoro, Lake Manyara and a visit to a Masai Mara village; food and drink on the safari was included (not drinks at hotel). Emmy Safaris also arranged our pick ups/ drop offs and the hotel either side of the safari. We stayed at Arusha Planet and Farm of Dreams - great staff, rooms, pool and massage! Our guide for our whole time there was Nick and he was fabulous; very informative and attentive. We had great fun and saw the big 5! It was amazing to see elephants intimidate a lioness and her cubs from a watering hole, a leopard lazing in a tree, baboons right next to us, hippos, black rhinos so close and a few majestic lions! These are only some of the animals and birds we saw. The visit to the Masai was an eye opener and interesting to learn about their traditions - my 18 year old son even had a jumping competition with their best jumper! We would recommend Emmy Safaris! Asante sana Jayy and the team.

Watching a cheetah hunt with Jeremy as our guide
5/5

The highlight of our Tanzania journey was easily day two in the Serengeti. Jeremy, our guide, noticed a group of vehicles heading one way but decided to take a quiet side track near some rocky hills. That patience paid off—we ended up sitting quietly for almost 45 minutes watching a female cheetah rest with her cubs without any crowd around us. Jeremy’s eye for wildlife tracking is top class. Suricata Safaris handled all the transport seamlessly.

Fabulous from start to finish!
5/5

I had the most amazing 6 days on the ‘Exciting Lusaka to Livingstone Overland Adventure Safari Tour’ and would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Mark went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy and the tour was marvellously organised, making it effortlessly enjoyable for me. This meant I maximised my time and experienced so much I never would have travelling alone, including wonderful personal tours of Livingstone and the Victoria Falls with Fines.

Also, when arranging the trip Mark always responded rapidly and provided helpful responses to any questions I had. During, he never failed to show up at the time or place we’d arranged and took care to ensure any external activies were with reliable companies, with him overseeing.

Thanks a million to Mark and the Lochinvar Safaris team, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Hours of wildlife watching and relaxing lodge evenings
5/5

We had a fantastic trip with Suricata Safaris. Jeremy is a top-tier driver guide who knew how to space out our time. We spent over three hours following a lion pride in the Serengeti without feeling rushed at all. After spending the entire day outdoors, we got back to Suricata Boma Lodge by 5:00 PM. We spent a couple of hours relaxing on the open patio before dinner. Clean rooms, hot showers, and great food!

I had an amazing time with Let’s Venture for our honeymoon.I love the process and the luxurious choice of hotel in Masai Mara was amazing. We were lucky to see the wildebeest migration and our guide Joshua was excellent. Thank you Patricia

The company and the manager were completely unreachable throughout the trip
1/5

We want to share a negative review about the company and guide we were with over the past week and a half.

We booked with Team Guide Africa (T.G.A) through Michael, the manager.
We closed a deal for 5 days of safari + 3 days of tours in the Arusha and Moshi area, including kosher accommodation and food.

In short:
During the safari, Michael himself was with us for 2 days. On one of those days he was mostly on the phone and didn’t really guide us.
We had to arrange the food ourselves throughout the entire trip.

After the safari we were on our own for Friday and Saturday. The company was completely unavailable and didn’t reply to our messages about the plan for Sunday and onward.

On Sunday they arrived 3 hours late with a "guide" who told us he wasn’t actually a guide and spent the ride working on his laptop. We only did a 2-hour activity instead of a full day.
That night we stayed in a completely different place than what we booked, and there was literally no water in the shower. When we raised this, he told us we were being "spoiled".

Day 2 went fine. We went to a hotel in Arusha, and on Tuesday morning we got a call from reception saying we needed to pay for the hotel because the company hadn’t settled the bill.
Right after that, the guide showed up alone with no car and no driver and expected us to figure it out. Of course he kept saying "the driver is on his way" - we waited almost 2 hours.
We called Michael and he just hung up on us and left us there with a $220 hotel debt to pay.

To sum up:
We came to this company and this guy through recommendations and it seems other people had a good experience with him. But if someone behaves like this even once, they’ll probably do it again.
Please be careful.
