Incredible service from the beginning to the end
The whole experience with Serengeti African Tours was extraordinary. We did the whole negotiation and conversation through Whatsapp and Neema, who we talked at first was really caring with all of the details. She manage to tailor make our tour adding a one-day hike to Kilimanjaro.
We were assigned with the guide Dickson and we couldn’t be happier. He knew the parks like he owned it, went for all the places and managed to find the big 5 easily.
All the accommodations were incredible with honorable mentions to Serena Lounge in Serengeti and Suricata Boma in Lake Manyara.
Everything was perfect and I know my wife and I won’t forget any experience we had. The high point we experienced was the lion hunting warthogs, which Dickson got us a privileged site to watch it.

Amazing
We booked a 6-day private safari with mid-range lodges, visiting Tarangire National Park, the Eastern and Central Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park.
From the initial consultation to the end of the safari, everything was exceptionally well organized. Jerome was always professional, friendly, and helpful during the planning process and took all of our wishes into consideration.
Our guide Edgar was very experienced and taught us a lot about Tanzania’s flora and fauna. We were particularly impressed by his ability to find the best spots, allowing us to observe the animals from very close by – always while maintaining the necessary respect for the animals.
The selection of lodges and hotels was also excellent. The daily lunches were plentiful and very tasty. We were always well supplied with drinks during the drives – even beer and wine were included.
Our expectations for the safari were not only met but exceeded. It was also great that, because of our late departure flight, Jerome arranged a dinner for us along with a small city tour.

A friendly, professional and well-organised experience, with excellent local knowledge and support
Denzel supported us from the beginning to develop a bespoke itinerary that included various experiences around Malawi and Zambia. When in both countries they kept in close touch and provided support with any queries or challenges we faced, the accommodation they selected on our behalf was all really good with Thornicroft in South Luangwa a real highlight of the trip. The vehicle they provided on a self drive basis was in excellent condition and allowed us to move around both countries comfortably and securely.
I would not hesitate to recommend Land and Lake Safaris as they have excellent in country knowledge and we felt they provided just he right amount of support to help us navigate culture and geography, with all staff and especially Denzel and Jim being very friendly and approachable.
A really memorable trip for us and we look forward to returning again soon.

Fantastic safari. Went above and beyond
We had a great safari with Kihindo Tours. Michael was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable on the animals and history of Tanzania. And a fantastic driver through some hairy traffic!! He went above and beyond.
Everything ran to plan. They were there to pick us up at the scheduled time everyday. Met us at our hotel and dropped us off. Same with the train station to and from Morogoro.The accomodation and food was great.

Great Honeymoon Safari
We booked a 5-day, 4-night safari with Blue Lilac to Lake Nakuru and the Maasai Mara as part of our honeymoon and had an amazing time.
Faith was great from the start, with really good communication and helping us put together a package that suited exactly what we wanted.
Leonard was our guide for the trip and was brilliant throughout — friendly, knowledgeable and always working hard to find the best wildlife. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five as well as plenty more.
Everything ran smoothly and it was definitely one of the highlights of our honeymoon. Would highly recommend Blue Lilac and Leonard!

Heidi was fabulous!
We loved the trip to South Africa that Heidi arranged for us. It was a fabulous experience from beginning to end, and we are so grateful for all the thought, care, and patience she put into planning it. Every detail felt well considered, and the whole trip had such a smooth and easy flow.
She did a wonderful job choosing the hotels, guest houses, transportation, tours, and activities. We always felt well taken care of, but never rushed or over-scheduled. The itinerary gave us a great mix of sightseeing, relaxing, learning, and simply enjoying the beauty of South Africa.
Our private tours of Cape Town with Ivan were a real highlight. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and such a pleasure to spend time with. We loved seeing Cape Town through his eyes, and the Cape Peninsula was absolutely stunning. The views from the top of Table Mountain were unforgettable and gave us one of those “we can’t believe we are really here” moments.
Franschhoek was another favorite stop. The town was charming, the winery visits were fun, and we even took a cooking class at Spilsbury’s Kitchen. We really enjoyed the slower pace there and the chance to take in the food, wine, and scenery. While in Franschhoek we stayed at the Avondrood Guest House, one of our favorites, and our host, Karloff, made us feel so welcome. It had just the right combination of comfort, charm, and personal attention, and it felt like a perfect fit for that part of the trip.
Our stay at Arathusa Safari Lodge in Sabi Sand was incredible. The safari experience was even more amazing than we had imagined, and seeing the Big Five after only two game drives was something we will never forget.
The drive from Knysna back to Cape Town along the Garden Route was also a beautiful way to see more of the countryside. We appreciated being able to take in the changing landscapes and get a better sense of the natural beauty of South Africa beyond the major cities and safari areas.
Most of all, we appreciated how responsive and patient Heidi was throughout the entire process. She listened to what we wanted, answered our questions, adjusted details when needed, and made the whole experience feel personal and easy.

Professional and welcoming
We had a wonderful experience during my safari. From the ride on the small plane and helicopter and daily on the Landcruiser, it was just an amazing experience. Our journey to the Moremi Game Reserve completely blew past every expectation we had, leaving us with a lifetime of memories. From seamless logistics to heart-pounding wildlife encounters, this safari was a masterclass in hospitality and adventure. We were immersed in the natural world without sacrificing comfort. The food, beautiful people, experiencing the animals in their natural habitat was so amazing and a dream we could never imagine. Would like to do this again.
