Me and my wife went for a holiday and used this company. They have the experience in what they do, the guide was good and knowledgeable, vehicle was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the game drive as we saw a variety of wild animals. I do recommend it to anyone who would love to go on a tour and feel the value for their money

A wonderful safari with an outstanding guide who truly made the difference.
Our safari with Sunstrip Africa Safaris was an unforgettable experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our absolutely outstanding guide Bony. His knowledge of wildlife and nature was remarkable, his dedication was evident every single day, and his passion for what he does made every moment special. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience — we cannot praise him highly enough.
The accommodations throughout the trip were also excellent — comfortable, well-chosen, and a perfect place to rest after each exciting day in the bush.
However, we were disappointed by the communication regarding payment. We were told in advance to bring cash for the safari. When we asked if euros were acceptable, they confirmed this — but upon arrival, they applied an unfavorable dollar-to-euro exchange rate that was significantly worse than the standard online rate, without having informed us beforehand. As a result, we ended up paying more than 10% above the expected amount. Interestingly, we were then able to pay the remaining difference by card, which raises the question of why card payment was not offered from the start. We would strongly encourage the operator to communicate payment conditions and exchange rates clearly in advance.

Very well organized and very attentive service.
I was traveling alone and had a few days to spare before meetings. Knap Tours helped organise the perfect 3-day safari with seamless pick-up and drop off from Johannesburg. The accommodation on camp and the guides and vehicles for the safari were all outstanding. I had such an easy few days and managed to see more wildlife than I anticipated. Highly recommended.

The entire experience was perfect and impresive.
Looking back at photos and videos from my African safari with JungleRoam Safaris (January 9–15, 2025), I still miss this unforgettable trip deeply, even after a whole year.
The entire experience was perfect and seamless. Chesi was incredibly patient and attentive in pre-trip arrangements, and our guide Juli was professional, humorous, and extremely knowledgeable about wildlife and the ecosystem. With his sharp eyes, he helped us spot the Big Five and countless incredible moments. He was always gentle and patient with all our questions and photo requests, making us feel safe and well taken care of.
Every detail was thoughtfully arranged—smooth transfers, comfortable accommodation, and a well-organized itinerary. We could fully immerse ourselves in the wild beauty of Africa without any worries.

A wonderful wildlife experience & Dickson was great
A very memorable time seeing lion, cheetah, elephant and much more in the Maasai Mara. Dickson, our guide, was great - he knew good spots to encounter the wildlife, provided lots of info, and all in all made it a fun experience! Highly recommend.

I used wildmist for a safari in Serengeti with my family and the whole tour was awesome. The communication was good, reliable, we felt comfortable and we saw everything we expected. Next time I will still use them because i got value for my money and highly recommend them

The communication for planning the tour was easy.
Excellent value for money included the community lodges which offered a different perspective of the country.
Payments of the birding tour were tracked by invoices.
The planed itinerary was followed, the lodges were good to very good and the food was always excellent.
The guide Alex never stops and he has eagle eyes to detect all birds and mammals.
Wide birding eco tour deserved 5 stars but due to some issues with the car at the beginning of the birding tour and some occasional communication issues, we opted for 4.5 stars.

Wagatil Safaris gave my husband and me one of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives.
From the very beginning, the team was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly. Traveling to Uganda for the first time can feel intimidating, with a new culture and so many unknowns, but Wagatil Safaris made us feel completely safe, welcomed, and taken care of at every step.
Pretty, their admin manager, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was kind, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process, always quick to respond and happy to assist with anything we needed. Her warmth and attention to detail really set the tone for the entire experience.
We were lucky to have two outstanding guides during our trip. Martin guided us through the first part of the journey and Timothy through the second, and both were exceptional. They were extremely knowledgeable and passionate, explaining everything from animal behavior and different bird species to local culture and daily life in Uganda. Every safari felt educational and meaningful, not just visually incredible. They always made sure we knew what to expect, answered all our questions, and checked in regularly to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.
The experiences themselves were beyond anything we imagined. Chimpanzee tracking, gorilla trekking, and multiple safaris were truly emotional and unforgettable. Seeing wildlife up close in such a respectful way is something we will never forget. Even the safari vehicle added to the experience, making long game drives comfortable and enjoyable.
Overall, Wagatil Safaris is extremely reliable, well organized, and deeply caring. If you are considering Uganda, especially for a first visit, we could not recommend them more highly and would absolutely choose them again.

Steven, our guide, was outstanding. His knowledge of wildlife and animal behavior was impressive, and thanks to his sharp eye and experience, we saw an incredible variety of animals — including lions, cheetahs, a leopard, huge elephant herds and so much more. Even in challenging weather and tough road conditions, he handled everything calmly and professionally. We always felt safe and well taken care of.
