An Unforgettable Northern Circuit Honeymoon
5/5

Our 6-Day Northern Circuit Honeymoon Safari (Nov 29 – Dec 4, 2025) with Safari Soles was the most extraordinary travel experience we’ve ever had.

From the planning stages, Oken ensured everything was seamless. He thoughtfully tailored our itinerary to align with our interests, honeymoon expectations, and pacing preferences. Communication was clear, logistics were effortless, and we felt confident and supported before we ever stepped foot in Tanzania.

Safari Monster Simon, our safari guide, elevated the experience even further. With formal training in tourism and African ecology, he didn’t simply locate wildlife - he interpreted entire ecosystems. He explained watershed systems, fire ecology, predator-prey behavior, medicinal plants, and conservation policy with depth and clarity.

As someone who works professionally in sustainability and conservation, I can confidently say this was the most impressive eco-tourism experience I’ve encountered. Simon’s tracking ability was extraordinary, spotting subtle movement at full speed and positioning us perfectly for unforgettable sightings.

As a newer birder, I logged over 100 new species thanks to his expertise. His passion also extended to photography - he brought professional camera equipment and generously shared breathtaking wildlife images with us at no additional cost. Many of those photos will be framed to hang in our home.

The vehicle was modern and comfortable, and each lodge offered exceptional hospitality, stunning views, and outstanding food. Our final day with Enock (also a rockstar of a guide!) for the Kilimanjaro hike, waterfall visit, coffee tour, and hot springs provided a wonderful cultural and scenic conclusion to the trip.

Safari Soles created an experience that felt personal, immersive, and flawlessly executed from start to finish. We are already planning our return and would recommend them to anyone we know for an absolutely amazing experience anywhere in Tanzania.

A fabulous tour operator, tailored the experience to our requirements and made it a special trip!
5/5

Kennedy organised our 7 day family safari for us and was very responsive throughout the booking process, tailoring it to our requirements working with the hotels and local guides. Daniel, our driver and guide was exceptional, he ensured we all had an amazing and fun experience, he adapted to our needs and helped us to spot so many different animals! Thank you for a fabulous holiday and allowing us to make some very special memoriesb

perfect and enjoyed, saw many animals especially big five
5/5

We had a wonderful trip throughout. We saw a great number of animals and managed to spot all of Africa’s Big Five. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of interesting information about the wildlife.

We visited Tarangire National Park, Ndutu in Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and many other places. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The owner was also very responsive and helpful at all times. Highly recommended!

Great fun
5/5

Six friends from Norway’s fjords set sail,

To Kenya’s wild heart, where wonders prevail.

Tsavo East welcomed us, red earth under wheel,

Two days of magic that time couldn’t steal.

John and Salash, our guides so wise,

Eyes sharp as hawks beneath endless skies.

They led us through dust and thorn-filled plain,

Unveiling the beasts that roam the domain.

Lions lounged lazy in golden light,
Cheetahs streaked swift in the heat of the fight.

Elephants marched, their hides painted rust,

Huge families crossing the savannah’s dust.

Rhinos lumbered, ancient and grand,
Gators grinned wide from the river’s soft sand.

Zebras danced stripes in the shimmering haze,

A parade of stripes through the sun-drenched days.

We saw nearly all that our wild hearts desired,

Every creature except the leopard, retired.
He stayed in the shadows, a ghost in the green,

But the rest of the kingdom made our joy serene.

From dawn’s rosy blush to the stars overhead,

We laughed in the jeep, every moment widespread.

Six souls from the north, forever changed now,

By Tsavo’s red heartbeat and its infinite vow.

So here’s to the safari, the dust, and the thrill,

To John and to Salash, to the African will.

We’ll carry the memories, fierce and so bright—

A two-day adventure that set our hearts alight.

Very unforgettable experience
5/5

It wasn’t a very long journey, but it was bound to be an unforgettable experience. Boniface showed us almost all the animals we wanted to see. He drove like an F1 racer and had eyes like an eagle.

Good price, good lodges, professional approach, good communication
5/5

Actually everything was as planned - on time pickup, lodges and safari according to agenda, very good value for money. Only issue we had was small problem with Landrcruiser, that the operator managed to clear.

Well-run private safari with strong operations, Abdul is top-tier
5/5

We booked an 8-day private safari in northern Tanzania and were impressed by how well everything was executed. Before the trip, communication was clear and responsive. On arrival, transfers were punctual, the schedule was organized, and daily routines were consistent, which matters a lot on a safari.
Abdul, our guide and driver, was top-tier. He is excellent at spotting wildlife and even better at positioning the vehicle. He repeatedly chose parking spots that gave unobstructed views, and several times animals naturally moved closer to our side shortly after he stopped. That kind of consistent “right place, right time” ability is rare and made the viewing experience exceptional.
The vehicle was clean and in good condition, and Abdul drove safely on rough roads. Wildlife viewing etiquette was respectful, never aggressive. Overall, this was a smooth, professional safari with a truly outstanding guide. We would book again and strongly recommend requesting Abdul.

Magic
5/5

This was truly an unforgettable experience, all thanks to our wonderful host Chris, who tried very hard to be a true host to us. Uganda is truly the heart of Africa, and especially with such a host as Chris, it was a real pleasure for us to see all the beauties of this beautiful country.

My advice to you - don't book with Wiinroots Adventure
1/5

While I definitely recommend going on a safari, I encourage you to NOT book a safari through Wiinroots Adventures.

We booked our safari 2 months in advance & paid in full over 2 payments. 2 days before our safari Wiinroots reached out saying that their former employee had underquoted us by $2,000 USD & sent over an invoice requesting the additional funds. We responded saying that this was outside of our budget, but they once again requested that we top up the funds. When I spoke with Kenneth on the phone and requested a refund for everything since we were underquoted by so much, I was assured that everything was already paid for & setup except a hot air balloon ride. Because it seemed everything else was all ready to go, we decided to proceed.

Fast forward a few days into our safari, we are stuck at the gate outside the Ngorongoro Crater for 3 hours because our tour guide's boss reached out & said that Wiinroots still owed the company over $1,200. Once again, we were told everything was all set except the hot air balloon. We reached out to Wiinroots who responded to one of my messages and talked to my boyfriend & the tour company on the phone. He said he was about to wire over the money.... He never did. And stopped responding to all of us. This left my boyfriend and I with no other choice but to pay these funds out of pocket to be able to get into the Crater, pay the tour guide & finish the rest of our safari!

Once again, I definitely recommend going on a safari! We visited Maasai Mara National Reserve, the Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater! HOWEVER, please do yourself a favor and DO NOT work with Wiinroots Adventures. I'm very disappointed by how they handled everything.

Memorable
4/5

Our tour guide was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the national park and its animals. Our drivers were also incredibly nice and fun and showed us beautiful landscapes and game viewings. We sometimes felt uncomfortable about how many jeeps were in close distance to an animal, but we communicated that with our guides and stayed a bit further away. It was all super well organized, reliable and smooth. We really enjoyed our time on the safari - super memorable experience, very grateful!
