It was our first time traveling to Africa. Thanks to Marco and his team it was a fantastic experience. We did a self-drive tour in a vehicle supplied by Southbound. The vehicle was in excellent condition and well equiped for safety and comfort. We enjoyed all of the pre-booked, quality accommodations and loved all of the tours. Southbound was always quick to respond to our questions, both in the planning stages and also when we were on the road. They organised all the details, including border crossings, so that everything ran smoothly. The tour was a perfect balance of the spectacular landscapes, safari and animal sightings and soft adventure that we were looking for. We would definitely recommend Southbound and hope to use their services again in the future.

Summit to sweetheart with Kilimanjaro umoja tours
Kilimanjaro Umoja tours or Honest was our guide in Tanzania for Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater National Parks – and we can highly recommend it! He was incredibly warm, very accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. His knowledge of wildlife is impressive, and his exceptional observation skills allowed us to observe wildlife that other safari cars have often missed. We have seen leopards, lions, hippos, elephants and much more up close – unforgettable!
In addition, Honest took care of everything in the background: From better rooms in the lodges to small honeymoon gifts, he really thought of every detail to make our trip perfect. His kindness, professionalism and passion for nature have made our safari a unique experience

A well-organized, great-value safari where we saw all the animals we hoped for.
We had a great safari experience with Zanzi African Safaris! Everything was well organized, and we managed to see all the animals we were hoping to see, which made the trip truly unforgettable.
The team was very kind and helpful throughout. Our driver did his best to show us as much as possible and clearly put a lot of effort into giving us a great experience. We would have appreciated a bit more explanations and information during the drives, but overall he was very professional and attentive.
Perhaps a bit more water during the drives would have been nice, but that’s really a small detail compared to the overall adventure.
For a budget safari, this was excellent value for money, and we felt well taken care of. We would definitely recommend this company to others looking for a memorable safari experience.

Excellent Safari with Buyaga Safaris
I had a wonderful time on my safari with Buyaga Safaris. Working with Peter before I left on my trip he always responded immediately to my questions and gave me thoughtful answers and reccomendations. My flight was delayed a day but we kept in contact and he was there to meet me at the airport.
My guide for my 11 day trip was Osmond. He was superb. Besides being very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the country, he made sure that I was having the best vacation/safari possible. He did this by making sure the vehicle was in the best position to get the best photos, knowing where best to go to spot the animals, and being flexible if I ever wanted to change anything. A pet peeve of mine with my last safari was my guide always wanting to leave the lodge at around 8AM. Not so with Osmond. I mentioned this to him and every single day we left the lodge when it was still dark out and we would catch the sunrise and the early morning wildlife. I also felt extremely safe with Osmond the whole trip. Highly reccomend him as your guide and Buyaga Safari for your tour.

Dan is a great guide, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and professional.
He organised a 10 day tour of Ethiopia for us. Arranging internal flights, hotels, driver's and other guides for us and he didn't want any money in advance, we just paid him cash on arrival which we thought was very trusting as we could have changed our mind leaving him out of pocket. We really enjoyed our tour he arranged and thought it was great value for money. Definitely recommend him.
