Local Kenyan Safari Company With A Personal Touch
Thanks to Hyrax Safaris we had an awesome safari for just the two of us, with a completely personalized itinerary. During the planning stage, Roselyne (who happens to be an owner) responded quickly to requests at all hours of the day & night, which was amazing, given we were 7 time zones away. She put together a 10-day itinerary for a private tour that included 6 days of safari in multiple parks, including airport transfers, transportation between parks, game drives, accommodation and meals, along with a few extra "must see" attractions. (And all for a comparably competitive price.) Roselyne even met us at our hotel to introduce us to our guide Ben, who as it turned out, was exceptional. His kind care, expertise & professionalism really made our trip. He knows the parks and the animals well, and he has a great rapport with the other guides, all of which meant we saw virtually the full range of animals over the course of our safari trip. We highly recommend Hyrax Safaris. It was an exceptional trip from pick-up at the airport to drop-off 10 days later.

Mr Maarufu (Mr Famous) was very friendly, very professional and know everything about safari
Safari was great experience, tour guide knew where to go and thanks to that we saw more animals then we expeceted (lions/buffalos/zebras/giraffes/elephants and more). Very good accomodation and stuff on the premisses. We were detailed guided from hotel in Dar Es Salaam, throught train station and on the way. I reeaaaally enjoyed the stay

An absolute 5-star dream safari in Tanzania!
From the very beginning, Pignel did an incredible job organizing everything perfectly and answering all our questions before the trip.Once we arrived, our guide Nixon and our driver Nicolas made this experience truly unforgettable. They are incredibly passionate professionals who went above and beyond to show us absolutely everything we wanted to see. Their attention to detail, kindness, and attentive listening made us feel safe and cared for throughout the entire journey.Thank you so much to this amazing team for making our dream safari come true. Mr famous was the best operator/guide I ever had
Everything was perfect for me, the accommodation, the trips, everyone were welcome. The dishes and all food was very tasty. We didn’t have any delays on our trip. I spent very good time here in Tanzania.

Jackson was, without a doubt, the best tour guide I could have asked for! His extensive knowledge and 17 years of wildlife experience truly made our safari an unforgettable experience. He knew exactly where to find the animals and had an incredible ability to spot wildlife, even when they were hiding.
Jackson was a true professional, passionate about his work, and dedicated to providing an exceptional safari experience. Beyond his expertise, he has a golden heart (lending a hand with a colleague with a flat tire truck). He was incredibly patient, kind, and respectful toward me as his customer and, equally importantly, toward the animals and their natural habitat.
I highly recommend Jackson to anyone looking for an outstanding safari guide. His professionalism, knowledge, patience, and genuine love for wildlife make him exceptional at what he does.

A huge thank you to our guide for making the experience so special. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, friendly and patient. He knew exactly where to go and had a great eye for spotting animals, even when they were well hidden. Thanks to him, we were able to see so many incredible animals up close and learn a lot about their behaviour and the surrounding nature.
The whole safari was full of amazing moments, beautiful landscapes and unforgettable memories. Our guide also made sure that we felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip.

A wonderful experience
7-day camping safari from Kasane to Maun. A small but excellent and professional tour operator. Everything went perfectly. Our guide, Liberty, knew the answer to every question about the animals and the wilderness and made sure all our wishes were fulfilled. Overall, we saw a lot of wildlife. Spending the night in a tent in the middle of the wilderness, complete with lions roaring at night, was an absolutely amazing experience. The backup team did a great job, and the food was delicious. We’d definitely come back and would highly recommend Sky Theme Safari.

We had a terrific service from Tailormade Africa. Clyde spent time get to know us and understand what we wanted to experience. His advice and direction with respect to where to go and what to do and see was invaluable. Seamless bookings and the trip was smooth with 'hand holding' from start to finish. The Ikuka camp was superb. Great guide and spectacular views. We will be going again!

An unforgettable trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar!
Everything was absolutely perfect, from the safaris and wildlife to the cultural experiences and our time in Zanzibar. Our guide, Anathe, was exceptional: knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and always attentive to our needs. He made the safari experience even more special with his knowledge of the animals, the landscape, and the local culture visiting local tribes.
