An Incredible Safari with Unforgettable Wildlife Encounters
We recently completed a Kenya and Tanzania safari with Colours Africa Safari, and overall it was an incredible experience.
Our safari involved travelling through both Kenya and Tanzania, which requires two different vehicles and drivers/guides. The changeover takes place at the Isebania border post, and the transition between the two countries was relatively straightforward.
The accommodation was excellent, with a diverse range of camps and lodges throughout the trip. Each offered something different, and the overall standard was great.
Both of our guides were terrific. They were extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and the areas we travelled through, while also being friendly, jovial and great company throughout the safari. Their expertise really added to the experience.
The animal encounters were next level, with some truly incredible and unforgettable experiences. We saw an amazing variety of wildlife and had several moments that will stay with us for a very long time.
I do have mixed feelings about the communication from Colours Africa. While they were responsive to our emails and generally easy to contact, there were a couple of occasions where accommodation changes were not communicated to us or to the guide. This resulted in some confusion for everyone and could have been avoided with better communication.
Overall, though, we had a fantastic safari and would highly recommend the experience. The quality of the accommodation, the knowledge and personality of the guides, and the incredible wildlife encounters made this a memorable trip.

From the very beginning, Susan made the whole booking process easy. Booking a safari from overseas and sending money to a company you’ve never used can be a little nerve-racking, but Susan was always quick to reply, professional, patient, and incredibly kind. She answered every question I had with care, always reassured me, and never made me feel like I was asking too much. More than the great reviews, it was Susan’s warmth and professionalism that gave me the confidence to book with EliteWays.
While I was spending some time in Kenya, I recommended EliteWays to a friend, and we ended up going on the safari together. She also dealt with Susan and had exactly the same experience. Even when we asked questions we’d already covered, just to reassure ourselves, Susan was always happy to answer them again. That level of patience and customer service really stood out.
On the day of the safari, we had the pleasure of being picked up by Sospeter. He arrived on time in a spotless, well-maintained vehicle, complete with binoculars for us to use. We were also incredibly lucky to have the vehicle to ourselves, which made the experience even more special.
Sospeter was fantastic. His knowledge of the wildlife was genuinely impressive, and it was clear how passionate he is about what he does. He seemed to know every bird, every animal, and was always happy to share interesting facts without overwhelming us. We also had some wonderful conversations about Kenya, its culture, and everyday life. By the end of the trip, it honestly felt like we had spent the day with a friend.
He really went out of his way to give us the best experience possible, making sure we had great views of the wildlife while always respecting the animals. We saw so many elephants, beautiful birds, and plenty of other wildlife. One of the highlights was the sunset in Amboseli. Sospeter made sure we reached the perfect spot in time, and it was honestly one of the most beautiful sunsets either of us has ever seen.
Throughout the safari we felt safe, relaxed, and very well looked after. The mid-range accommodation was good, comfortable, and with good dinner and breakfast.
We came away with amazing memories, incredible photographs, and an even greater appreciation for Kenya and its wildlife.
A huge thank you to Susan for making the booking process so smooth and reassuring, and to Sospeter for sharing not only his knowledge but also his genuine love for Kenya and its wildlife. They are both wonderful at what they do and truly reflect the warmth and hospitality of the country.

Amazing safari tour with Steve and Lewis
Incredible tour through Tarangiri, Serengeti and Ngorobgoro national parks. Our guide Steve was amazing, he shared so many information about Africás life, Masais, animals. He answered all the questions, and described every place we went through. He is really like wikipedie. He took care about us all the time. I really recommend Steve and Lewis as the best guides ever.
Charles is incredibly good at his job! We saw over 40 lions plus all the big 10 up close!
I am very impressed with Suricata Safari. They handled everything for me from airport pick up to hotels, lodges meals, everything was fantastic. The people are so knowledgeable and kind and the accommodations were really much nicer than I expected. I highly recommend them and suggest you ask for Charles. He was really fantastic and knew exactly where to take us to get as close as possible to an endless amount of wildlife.

Exceptional tour that exceeded expectations
I have just completed my safari adventure and it was awesome. Our guides Richard (Kenya) and Goodluck (Tanzania) were incredible. They were so patient and accommodating and made sure we had the very best experience possible. They often worked longer days to ensure that we got to see and do everything possible in each park. Both were incredibly knowledgeable about the animals and their behaviours as well as the landscape and the culture of its inhabitants. Could not rate more highly. A trip of a lifetime. An unforgettable honeymoon safari – thanks to Colours' professionalism and heart
My friend visited Tanzania for a safari this February and had an amazing experience. She highly recommended Colours Africa Tours and Safaris to us, so we chose them for our honeymoon as well.
Hatibu Yasini, our Journey Organizer, was exceptionally dedicated and responsible. Despite the time difference with China, he always responded promptly and resolved every issue we had with great reliability and care.
Mr. GoodLuck was our guide – highly experienced, knowledgeable, and humorous. On our very first day, we spotted four of the Big Five, and he also took us to a private sighting of a leopard. We even witnessed the spectacular Great Migration river crossing. He took care of us like an elder brother, with genuine warmth and humility.
Tom, our photographer for the entire trip, was a shy but incredibly hardworking young man. He did an excellent job, and we have already received the selected photos – they are so stunning that we plan to print them and frame them at home. The wildlife truly has an irresistible charm.
This was our first safari in Tanzania and our first visit to Africa. We feel so fortunate to have met Colours and all their staff. Every accommodation and activity was perfectly arranged. It was an unforgettable honeymoon, and choosing Colours was absolutely the right decision.

Great experience with a knowledgeable, friendly and interesting guide
I did the 6-day budget safari with Jocky, visiting Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Ambroseli. Our driver and guide, Brian Ondigo, was clearly experienced with the parks as well as the driving conditions inside the parks. He was friendly and funny, and took the time to help us see a wide variety of wildlife during the safari. We were even able to see a lion hunting. I also appreciate that he shared bits of information about the parks and the wildlife throughout our time with him. I would definitely enjoy another safari with Brian in the future.
Accomodations were as expected, comparable to a 2 star hotel. It's worth noting that the driving time on the 6-day safari is extensive. Depending on your preferences you may want to skip Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha to save 8+ hours of driving.
