Great safari!
5/5

I went looking for a day trip safari to Ngorongoro the day before I wanted to go and was glad I got connected to these guys! The company was great, very communicative and accommodating. Everything was well organized and I felt taken care from the get go. Our guide was great, lunch was delicious, and I got to relax and enjoy the nature and animals. Thanks!

Really kind, gentle and awesome
5/5

I joined the 3 nights and 4 days camping safari with Suricata Safaris, one of their partner companies. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience. We were able to see a wide range of animals, including the Big Five, and our guide, Reoice, was kind, knowledgeable, and professional.

The meals were good, and water was provided daily (1.5L per person), which was always enough for me. Each of the three nights was spent at a different campsite, and every time the accommodation got better than the previous one. I wasn’t expecting much from the tents, but they were very comfortable with proper mattresses and blankets.

I traveled from December 4 to 7, and on the second night near the Ngorongoro area it was extremely cold. The other two camps were warmer and very comfortable overall.

It was a meaningful and enjoyable safari experience, and I’m satisfied with the service provided👍

Magnificent
5/5

Planning a trip as an expatriate with stringent timelines was somewhat tricky. But, here is the kicker, AKIRA SAFARIS came through, at enquiry, to planning and organizing, the Manager David made sure that everything was executioned to perfection.

The Nairobi trips, to Maasai Mara, Mombasa, Kisumu and Ruma Park in Homa Bay, everything was within precision.

This trust can be rare, and when you get value for money, it can only be humane to acknowledge that.

Asante sana AKIRA SAFARIS, you made my sojourn remarkable and unforgettable.

Greetings of peace, love and joy from Atlanta, USA.

I loved Zazu Safari Venture for their great customer service during the entire planning of the tour and during the tour. They took their time to ensure that we enjoyed every bit not compromising on any part including the hotel choice

Wonderful Experience
5/5

I really enjoyed my three day safari in Nyerere with Selous explorer.
Everything went smoothly from the pickup up until the drive back.
We had really nice condition for observing the animals on the Rufiji and inside the National Park.
The riverview lodge is very special and you can observe hippotamus and blue monkeys just while eating breakfast. Buffaloes and elephants come quite near the lodge too.

The comfort there was excellent and I enjoyed the food very much - always very flavourful vegetarian options.
The lodge to sleep is very spacious and and comfortable.

My only criticism is the walking safari. I expected a quiet early morning walk to find animals in the bush and learn about botany. But we got this performance by a “bush man” which honestly made me really uncomfortable. I really hope Tanzanians don’t believe Europeans have this view of rural Tanzanians and want to see this kind of thing (gnawing on tree bark, wearing animal skulls, eating insects, climbing on things etc.). You could tell the actor knew a lot about botany and medicinal usages of the plants. He even told us about accompanying professors to date the Baobabs. That made his act even more confusing to me. Others in the tour seemed to found it entertaining though…

I still enjoyed the safari over all and wish Nestor and his employees all the best!

We couldn’t have wished for a better tour operator
5/5

We went on a wonderful trip, put together by Tailor Made Safaris based on our wishes. Both in the Netherlands and in South Africa, we had very pleasant contact with Geert and his team — always easy to reach, thoughtful, flexible, and incredibly knowledgeable.

Everything was arranged down to the last detail, and when it turned out we had forgotten to bring something important from the Netherlands, they helped us incredibly quickly and creatively.

We hope to return to beautiful South Africa someday, and when we do, we will without any doubt turn to Tailor Made Safaris again 🤩

Spectacular adventure for good value of money
5/5

We loved our 3 days in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. First of all it’s really an adventure, like You have many parts of travel which may be exhausting. But animals are worth it, people You will meet on Your way are great as well. Our driver and guide, Kisamo, was really decent, caring one - great “hunter” on the one hand, on the other he had respect for park rules and other safari cars. He provided us great views, animals and stories to remember. Our organiser Michael kept us informed all the time - but even then we were afraid, but then all came out to be fabulous. Remember You can create bespoke safari even for budget and mid range - for budget we got room with bathroom in Serengeti and tent in Ngorongoro. Next time no tent for us, to much trouble with bathroom and clothes. Food is prepared with care, we felt always hungry enough to be happy with all. Don’t expect smooth ride as it’s off-road all the time with dust everywhere, even in the city. We had one giraffe visit near the room and another time elephant at the evening. You will remember that. Michael from Majestic arranged all transfers to be comfortable, very convenient and included in price. Insist to fly to/from Arusha when coming from Zanzibar, Klimanjaro airport much further and problematic security. Remember to leave small tips to everyone - they are hard working and Your appreciation means a lot for their economy.
