Slick operation and Geeman was an amazing guide
We did the 3d/2n Masai Mara tour from Nairobi and the whole thing was fantastic. The tour seemed like good value compared to others, but they weren't cutting any corners. The logistics of getting picked up and hitting the road were perfect, the tented accommodation we opted for was hospitable, comfortable and had great food and the game drive experiences in the park itself were sublime! The overall experience was made though by the fantastic guide Geeman who was knowledgeable and informative, funny and went absolutely out of his way to deliver us the most incredible experiences with animals in the park. We felt very lucky to have him!

Unforgettable Safari with Excellent Guide Kelvin
We had an absolutely wonderful safari trip. Our guide Kelvin was extremely professional. He shared extensive knowledge about wildlife as well as local culture. Blessed with sharp eyesight, he could spot animals far in the distance effortlessly. He also helped us bargain when we bought local souvenirs and went out of his way to fulfil all our requests. We’re very grateful to Kelvin for accompanying us and making our safari such an enjoyable experience.

Geemon showed us the best of the Masai Mara
Excellent! Geemon showed us so much. So many elephants, giraffes, zebras etc. Cheetahs posing from close. The highlight was a pack of lions eating a zebra and some hyenas trying to steal plus 3 baby lions wondering in the savannah. The Sopa lodge was great as well. Geemon is a good communicator and everything was always clear. Definitely recommend!

Excellent support throughout my Rwanda trip
Thomas supported my entire trip in Rwanda and made it smooth and comfortable. He was professional, kind, reliable, and flexible. One of my best memories was talking with him on the bus. Efficient Communication and All Around Wonderful Service
I worked with Elizabeth on a mid luxury Tanzanian Safari for my birthday in March 2026z The communication and availability of information was efficient, such that I was able to affordably book an itinerary that encompassed what I envisioned for our first safari.
My husband and I booked for 6 days and 5 nights, we had the same group of amazing people for four of the days exploring Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorogoro.
Our guide was wonderful, taking us to spots where we saw lions, elephants, hyenas, cheetah , amongst other beauties in close proximity.
Our group and the weather made the experience a joyfully memorable one. The verdant greens of the Savannah contrasted beautifully with the animals , adding to the atmosphere of it all.
The accommodations were mostly lodges, with the exception of a tented camp directly in the Serengeti where we heard the roaring of lions and the cackling of hyenas during the night….quite the adventure. We love creature comforts and enjoyed all the lodges we stayed at….I was given a luxury stay the day before Amy birthday , this was an amazing touch to the overall great service!
I am thankful to have found Goldfinch Expeditions on Safari bookings. I was a bit skeptical about the value of what I was getting at first as it seems too good to be true . I’m happy I took the chance and followed through with the package offered , it was an absolutely fantastic experience that I would recommend repeatedly.

GREAT, best week in my life so far.
This was truly the best week of my life, and a huge thank you to our guide, Emmanuel.
He was incredibly professional, helped us handle unexpected situations (including some very determined monkeys trying to steal our food!), and somehow always knew where to find the animals. Thanks to him, we got amazing close-up views of lions, leopards, and so much more.
The safari exceeded all my expectations, and I highly recommend Emmanuel to anyone visiting Tanzania.
And somehow, during this trip, I even got the girl. Best week of my life! 😄 Thank you, Emmanuel, for making it so unforgettable.

Our guide Culver gave us a once in a lifetime experience. The vehicle was fantastic and comfortable. Culver ensured that we saw everything we could for as long as we desired. Very respectful and caring. Would recommend to everyone. The company is local and made our trip the greatest.

Wonderful once in a lifetime experience from start to finish
Our safari experience in Tanzania was amazing from start to finish. The company owner Tom answered all our questions and communicated openly with us through the long planning process. He worked with us to customize our itinerary to best fit our time. When factors outside of anyone’s control impacted our time, the company worked with us to make adjustments to ensure we had the best experience. When it came to the food and accommodations, everything about the trip exceeded our expectations. Even our packed lunches were good portions with hot meals and the lodging was beautiful, clean and comfortable. While all of the trip was wonderful, what made it such an amazing experience was our guide Culver. He went out of his way to make us comfortable and answers all of our many questions about animals, safaris and Tanzania. He was knowledgeable and communicated with other guides to make sure we saw all the animals we possibly could. He truly made our safari experience amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to book another trip with Culver, Tom and Ndutu!
