What an amazing experience, truly a trip of a lifetime. I've traveled to many countries over the years and have had many guides and I can honestly say Richard is at the top. He makes you feel welcome, comfortable and appreciated. His knowledge of the local culture, traditions and wildlife is second to none. He is amazing at spotting wildlife big or small. Part way through our trip our safari jeep needed some repairs which Richard performed himself after he left us for the evening. He worked late into the night making sure the jeep was in tip top shape for our next days journey. He is such pleasant person to spend our time with in Tanzania.
This was my second time in Tanzania and I will definitely be back. Richard with out a doubt will be the first person I will contact to book my trip. It's been several years since our trip and I'm still in contact with Richard hearing all about his lovely family especially his 2 beautiful young children.

It was my birthday at the end of January and I wanted something special for it. I briefly advised the team at Tanzania Choice Safaris what I would imagine my budget to include. Amazing.
It was absolutely fantastic tour we had organised by Camptrek Safari. We joined 5 days tour including Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha.
We contacted the company just about 10 days before the tour but Rose, in the office, was extremely quick and flexible in responding our requests in terms of length and price of the tour, which we found very reassuring and helpful.
For the tour itself, our drive/guide Michael was fantastic. Thank you him, we managed to see all the Big 5 and other animals. He closely and frequently communicated with other drives/guides on the sites and committed himself to find animals for us. And no joke, he does have eagle eyes and he was able to find animals very far which we even struggled to find them with binoculars.
Massive thanks for the company, Rise and Michael for making our stay in Kenya wonderful.

He was extremely informative and also knew the best places to view the animals.
I went on a safari with this company with a group of friends. Sox, the owner and operator was very good at communicating about what to expect on the safari as well as any precautions to observe around the wild animals. He was extremely well informed about all the flora and fauna given that he also grew up around the area in Botswana. His staff were also very friendly and helpful and always there to provide excellent service.
Given his vast knowledge of the area, he seemed to intuitively know where we might see all of the animals, including the elusive ones, such as the leopard. As a result we saw all of the wild cats and watched with delight as we witnessed the baby lions playing. The other plus was that it was reasonably priced for a 10 day safari, far less than others I had checked and there were only 6 participants on the safari. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Sox and his company for an excellent experience of a lifetime. I came back to Canada and have recently recommended it to friends who will be going on one of his upcoming safaris. It’s not to be missed!

Amazing Experience
Just returned from their 3 day Safari 2nd March 2026.
Truly Amazing.
I booked from Zanzibar and back. Door to door from hotel.
Having received multiple quotes, EcoLife was the only company to challenge / suggest a better Safari because of the current migration, which was refreshing, as hadn’t thought of certain things to do with flights direct into the heart of the Serengeti (not wasting time driving from Arusha) and locations.
Their logistics and operation ran entirely like clockwork.
They went and got the lodges I asked for even though, now upon reflection, were hugely out of the way from the main safari route and never once let me know this.
It’s a small company opened in early 2025 and the people who run it are long time experts with a deep history in Safari / animals, they care very much about you, so it’s bespoke entirely to since they’re small, do not treat you like a number.
Domi the guide found all the big 5 with ease. Apprently it’s quite hard to do, I didn’t realise that seeing a leopard just hanging from a tree is not actually normal :)
If you’re here reading this it’s because you’re considering them and I stress just do it, the owner has got you, will improve your experience by considering the time of year and where the animals will actually be making you feel like a VIP when meeting others following the normal route while you’re out there filming animals no one else got to see.

An Exceptional Safari Experience in Uganda
We just returned from a 20-day safari in Uganda, and the experience exceeded every expectation we had. From the very first exchange, everything was organized exactly as promised — and in many ways, beyond. The itinerary was perfectly structured, and throughout the trip we received thoughtful extras such as lodge upgrades and additional activities that made the journey even more special.
Our guide and driver, Abdallah, was simply outstanding — without exaggeration, one of the best guides we have ever had in Africa. His tracking skills were remarkable. We spotted five leopards during our trip, some in places we would never have identified on our own. His ability to read the terrain and anticipate wildlife movement truly elevated the experience.
Beyond his expertise in wildlife tracking, Abdallah is an extremely safe and responsible driver. He never took unnecessary risks, particularly on challenging roads or when overtaking in limited visibility. His professionalism and calm approach gave us complete confidence throughout the journey. He is experienced, well-organized, always smiling, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He also has an impressive local network and speaks multiple languages, which allowed him to communicate seamlessly with local communities and tribal groups we encountered along the way. He even enjoyed surprising us with small, unexpected moments that made the trip even more memorable.

During our safari, we saw gorillas, chimpanzees, lions, elephants, and even walked alongside giraffes. It was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. While some roads can be rough, that is part of the authentic African adventure.
