Hours of wildlife watching and relaxing lodge evenings
We had a fantastic trip with Suricata Safaris. Jeremy is a top-tier driver guide who knew how to space out our time. We spent over three hours following a lion pride in the Serengeti without feeling rushed at all. After spending the entire day outdoors, we got back to Suricata Boma Lodge by 5:00 PM. We spent a couple of hours relaxing on the open patio before dinner. Clean rooms, hot showers, and great food!

The company and the manager were completely unreachable throughout the trip
We want to share a negative review about the company and guide we were with over the past week and a half.
We booked with Team Guide Africa (T.G.A) through Michael, the manager.
We closed a deal for 5 days of safari + 3 days of tours in the Arusha and Moshi area, including kosher accommodation and food.
In short:
During the safari, Michael himself was with us for 2 days. On one of those days he was mostly on the phone and didn’t really guide us.
We had to arrange the food ourselves throughout the entire trip.
After the safari we were on our own for Friday and Saturday. The company was completely unavailable and didn’t reply to our messages about the plan for Sunday and onward.
On Sunday they arrived 3 hours late with a "guide" who told us he wasn’t actually a guide and spent the ride working on his laptop. We only did a 2-hour activity instead of a full day.
That night we stayed in a completely different place than what we booked, and there was literally no water in the shower. When we raised this, he told us we were being "spoiled".
Day 2 went fine. We went to a hotel in Arusha, and on Tuesday morning we got a call from reception saying we needed to pay for the hotel because the company hadn’t settled the bill.
Right after that, the guide showed up alone with no car and no driver and expected us to figure it out. Of course he kept saying "the driver is on his way" - we waited almost 2 hours.
We called Michael and he just hung up on us and left us there with a $220 hotel debt to pay.
To sum up:
We came to this company and this guy through recommendations and it seems other people had a good experience with him. But if someone behaves like this even once, they’ll probably do it again.

Fresh three‑course meals were carefully prepared every day — tasty, well‑seasoned and hygienic. Our dining experience exceeded all our expectations for food quality on an African adventure.
Our guide demonstrated outstanding expertise. With an in‑depth knowledge of wildlife behaviour and movement patterns across the grasslands, he consistently found ideal viewing spots, allowing us to observe wild animals calmly at close range. An amazing experience from start to finish!
Amazing experience with Jungleroam Safaris! Everything was very well planned and organized, from the timing and transportation to the meals and the tour itself. The food was good, and the whole experience was smooth and reliable. The value for money is excellent, making Jungleroam Safaris a great option.
The safari itself was fantastic! We had the opportunity to see the Big Five and many other animals, while having plenty of time to stop and take photos and videos. It was an unforgettable experience, and I would definitely recommend Jungleroam Safaris to other travelers.
A special mention to Tribon, our guide, who was absolutely great throughout the safari. He was very attentive and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. He shared a lot of interesting information about the animals, their behavior, and the landscapes around us, which made the safari even more enjoyable and educational. Our safari was an amazing experience thanks to our guide Tribon. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and the area. I reached out to Kilipath African Safaris while planning a solo trip to Tanzania for my 40th birthday, and Happy was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process.
Happy was quick to respond, clear and detailed in every answer, and patient with the many questions I had as a first-time safari traveller. A very professional and prolific safari with Eze MasaĂŻ that we will never forget
We had the chance to spend 4 days with Eze MasaĂŻ in both Serengeti and Ngorogoro. Everything was very well arranged in advance, and the plan for these days was very clear. During the safari, Eze showcased a mindblowing knowledge of the terrain, as if he would know where to find animals (beyond what the radio would say of course). We also highly appreciated Eze's professionalism: always on time, and balancing listening to our propositions and suggesting better alternatives if any. Overall excellent value for money, with the Pori Pori lodge as a base. 100% recommended!

First time doing a safari and it went super smooth. Jeremy was our driver and guide, very polite guy who answered all our basic questions about animals. Saw elephants up close and lots of giraffes near Lake Manyara. The vehicle was clean and spacious for our group. Thanks Suricata Safaris for taking good care of us!
