He absolutely loved Kruger, the safaris, the food, and the Panorama Tour — he has not stopped talking about how incredible it all was. He said the whole experience felt really wholesome and memorable.
As his mum, with this being his first time solo travelling, I also really appreciated how well looked after he was. It genuinely meant a lot knowing he was around such kind and caring people.
The staff really made the experience special for him, and I just wanted to say thank you again for all the care, effort, and kindness shown to him throughout the trip.

We traveled to Tanzania as a family with children, and like many first-time travelers to Africa, we had questions, excitement, and honestly, some fears. From the very beginning, Suricata Safaris made us feel supported, informed, and genuinely cared for.
Our guide and driver, Damian, made this trip extraordinary. He was kind, patient, knowledgeable, calm, and incredibly attentive to our daughters. He understood when to stop, where to look, how to make the experience magical, and somehow always seemed to know what would make the day even more special. He became much more than a guide during this trip.

We took a 7day trip in Uganda with Turkana Wildlife safari in may 2026 and can not recommend this organization enough!
The communication and the itinerary was crystal clear and extremely professional. The lodges we stayed were beautiful and we were always welcomed with open arms. We had a private Tour with Reagan as our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the local culture, and very fun to be around, becoming a friend of ours throughout the trip.

We started working with Shann Shaw about 14 months in advance of our trip by discussing what we hoped to see, when we wanted to go, our budget, our limitation to not fly small bush planes, and the need for a two night break in the middle of the trip (game viewing is exhausting LOL).
We were very impressed with Shann's guidance regarding an itinerary that would meet our trip wish list. Additionally, while building the itinerary, Shann provided 2 lodging options in each of the reserve areas. We really appreciated having these choices. Shann was very responsive to our questions in advance of the trip and super responsive while we were on our trip.
At each of our 4 safari lodges our rooms were GORGEOUS, staff was fantastic, and the food was excellent! The game guides and trackers were extremely knowledgeable and in tune with giving us the best game viewing experience possible. The viewing, the landscape, and the accommodations at each of the 4 safari reserves were unique and special in different ways.
There was not a single snafu on 3 week trip. The transfers between the four lodges were flawless (driving and flying) with very professional drivers and very good vehicles.
We couldn't have asked for a better experienc! Dare I say it was perfect.
We loved this trip so much, I've already told Shann I'd like her to help us plan the next one.

The best!
We just did a tour with Shafik and Matiya and it was incredible. The most well organized trip I’ve experienced in Africa. The cars were comfortable and always clean. The guides were accommodating and extremely knowledgeable and helpful, they’re more than tour guides, they’re lifelong friends now. I would highly recommend traveling with them. Simply the best.
