A special thank you to our guide John, who was fantastic throughout the entire 7-day trip. He was friendly, professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable about wildlife. Thanks to his expertise, we had many unforgettable sightings and some great photo opportunities.
The entire tour was well organized with comfortable accommodations, good food, and beautiful safari destinations including Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha, and Amboseli.
We traveled as a father and two sons, and all three of us had an amazing time. John's positive attitude and dedication really made the difference.

Very well organised trip
I had an amazing 3-day trip in Uganda and it was definitely one of the highlights of my time in Africa. The whole trip was well organized, and the gorilla trekking in Bwindi was an unforgettable experience that I will remember for a very long time.
A very special thanks to our guide, Rowland. He was friendly, helpful and easy to travel with, and he genuinely did his best to make the whole trip as enjoyable and memorable as possible.
He even saved me from a big problem before the trip had properly started! I accidentally left my phone at the hotel, and Rowland immediately helped me sort everything out and get it back. I really appreciated how helpful and patient he was throughout the entire journey.
Uganda is a beautiful country and seeing the mountain gorillas so close in their natural habitat was something truly special. I came home with some incredible memories and would happily recommend this tour company to anyone planning a trip to Uganda. And if you get Rowland as your guide, you are in very good hands!

Amazing African Experience
This was a trip of a lifetime! I initially reached out to Safari 56 to plan the Safari and Zanzibar portions of my trip. When they later found out that I was going to be in Tanzania for three weeks, they offered to plan the remaining parts of my trip which was wonderful! They took me to some of the hidden gems of Tanzania that aren’t super touristed yet (Usambara Mountains and Magoroto Forest) and it was some of the best parts of my trip! Mr. Akida and his guides provided top notch service. I learned so much on this trip. Every step of the way was fantastic from planning, to accommodations, to transport, to excursions. Absolutely worth the money! 10/10 recommend!

Not luxury but overall a great experience
We booked an 8 day private luxury tour to the Serengeti and Zanzibar. We had a nice guide Stanley and a great time. Saw the big 5 and more and loved all the lodges. The tented ones are very clean and “as luxury as you can get” in the middle of the Serengeti. We had some hot water problems and flushing issues. A lot of the meals are buffets, but they are delicious. There were just some discrepancies we didn’t like on this tour. Communication was great from planning to booking, however, when we got there the guide did not seem to know info on our flights or some other things on the itinerary. I felt like the itinerary wasn’t very specifically detailed, which I should have questioned earlier. Ie-listing our flight times and specific sights in destinations or tours. Also a price breakdown of day. The itinerary did list driving times to places, but not one was correct. They were WAY longer. This wasn’t really based on traffic problems, the roads everywhere are just unpaved and they should be more transparent about driving times. It is hard to have a luxury safari when you are spending 12 hrs in a car every day on bumpy dusty roads and eating hot food for lunch that has become cold over hours and also being out of the fridge that whole time. While tasty.. I was worried a bit about it. The jeep was clean and looked decent, but the ac didn’t work, the armrest broke off one seat during our time and the door was broken on my side. There was no acknowledgement of anything. Thank god we had no further problems on those roads! The first day we chose to hike Mt Kilimanjaro, and it was not stated what entrance we would be using or how long it would take to base camp. The entrance we used was not feasible for a day trip. We also wore sneakers. No one advised us that we needed literal hiking shoes for mud purposes only. This would have been nice to know and communicate! We were slipping everywhere (which is a norm) and it made it very difficult to enjoy. It was also told to us numerous times that the flight to Zanzibar was direct. It was not lol. Also every time we switched places/guides we had to ask the tour operator for names and who was picking us up and when. We shouldn’t have to reach out and do that. No one told us the time of our dolphin tour the second day in Zanzibar, we had no clue which day it was on. They also said 3 hrs long and it was over 5. It was nice and included lunch, but that would have been nice to advise us of all that! Also we booked an 8 day trip, but bc our flight was late night the 8th day they did not give us lunch dinner or anything else. I want to be charged for 7 days then! We complained to the tour operator Omar and he did absolutely nothing but make excuses or not respond. Bc he already had his cash money paid in full a few days prior of course. It’s not much to cover atleast a lunch! When we arrived at the airport the driver tried to charge us again aswell, even tho they stated that was the only thing included that day. Just a lot of discrepancies in communication and certain details that made the trip a little more troublesome and a not so luxurious feel that we were looking for. I’d prob just do more budget accommodations as you are mostly gone on game drives, and bring better shoes for mud and dust. Zanzibar water is nice, but the north might have less tidal/seaweed/sea urchin problems than the east? Just have to be transparent.. even tho we overall had a great experience. I wouldn’t steer away from this company, I would just cover extra bases beforehand. I think a lot of companies are very similar IMO and provide similar services in this poorer part of the world. It is what it is and it’s a once in a lifetime trip!

An absolute dream safari!
This trip was flawless and far better than we imagined.A huge thank you to Hatibu Yasini for his exceptional work in sales and coordination. His clear communication and attention to detail made the booking process easy and the itinerary perfect.
Once the safari started, Tom, Martin, and Benson took over and delivered an unforgettable experience. Their expertise and dedication were outstanding. The combination of Hatibu’s planning and the guides’ execution made this the best safari.

When I start planning the trip to Africa (Kenya + Tanzania) I was concerned based on the information I received from multiple sources. I spoke with Moses and he tailored the safari as per my requirements but I am still concerned. When I met him in the airport I felt okay. Once we started our safari and spent 10 days with Moses and his team, we don't want to leave Africa. That is the level of service we received from Moses and his team. If I give him Five stars it doesn't do any justice. That is how we felt when we left. He blew our expectations and the overall experience in Africa is speechless. Thank you Moses and your team.

Extremely irresponsible agency!
We joined Onlyone’s 10 day tour from Aug 14–23, 2026, and experienced several disappointing incidents.
[Hotel changed without notice]
Our original itinerary listed Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge (TWD 17,480/night), a very popular lodge where zebras and giraffes will roam around. However, while applying the ETA, I noticed that Onlyone changed the hotel to Naivasha Kongoni Lodge (TWD 7,500/night) without telling us. The reviews and the prices of two hotels are totally different. Most importantly, Kongoni Lodge doesn’t have chance to watch animals walking around. I asked Onlyone, it claimed that they’re the same level hotel. I refused to accept, so it eventually arranged Enashipai Resort & Spa (TWD 9,840/night) to us, but this hotel offers no animal-viewing experience.
When we met other tour members in Kenya, they had no idea the hotel had been changed! Onlyone didn’t informed them either! If I didn’t noticed the change, we might ended up staying at Naivasha Kongoni Lodge!
After returning home, I shared my experience online. Turned out at least 4 other groups also found their hotels had been changed by Onlyone without notice!!!
In my case, Onlyone gave us different explanations: the hotel was flooded, the hotel had deposit issue, and the hotel list was just for us to apply ETA. However, other traveler commented on my post that they stayed at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge on Aug 14. I supposed to stay there on Aug 18, so the hotel was fine on Aug 14 but flooded on Aug 18??
Also, Onlyone kept saying that Enashipai Resort & Spa is a five-star hotel, it's better than the original one. Yet its website still showed Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge. If Enashipai is the better option, why doesn't Onlyone change its website info?
[Being left at the train station]
On Day2, Onlyone told us hotel would pick us up after we arrived Voi Station by train. However, nobody was there to meet us. A taxi driver kindly helped us call the hotel, it said that it didn't received pick up arrangement from Onlyone. Seems like there was communication gap between Onlyone and the hotel. So we were left waiting at the station for 30 minutes before the hotel driver arrived.
[Maasai Mara National Reserve game drive was changed to a private conservancy game drive]
According to the itinerary and the website, Day8 and Day9 were supposed to have game drives in Maasai Mara National Reserve. But Onlyone told us only Day8 would enter the national reserve, Day9 would go to a private conservancy. It told us Maasai Mara is a huge area and private conservancies are also part of Maasai Mara after we first complained. To enter the reserve again, we would had to pay extra USD 200/person for entrance fees. After we showed Onlyone its website, it changed the explanation and said our guide had misunderstood. We would go to the national reserve on Day9.
Plus the hotel and train station issues, it also offered us one night safari as compensation.
I posted about our experience on social media after returning home. The Taiwan market manager, Cath immediately commented on my post that they would get in touch with us.
However, It’s been a MONTH, and nobody has contacted us!!
I even messaged them after two weeks and again after a month. They completely ignored both messages!
Honestly, this is incredibly disappointing and irresponsible!
After viewing the post, other travelers also reached out to me, sharing similar terrible experiences. Clearly, we’re not the only case!
Please be careful before booking with Onlyone!
