Friendly with clear and speedy communication!
Review
My friend and I did the 7-day Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route followed by the 2-day Short & Sweet Safari.
Both experiences were better than I could have imagined! Booking was really easy and communication was fast through email as well as Whatsapp with Octavian.
We were able to pay a deposit through bank transfer to secure our reservation and the rest in person in cash but you can do credit card as well for a fee.
Octavian picked my friend and I up at the airport and took us to our accommodation which was a really cute and comfortable Lodge. Great services including laundry service and delicious food!
Our tour group met us at the lodge the day of the hike and did a ceremony for us to get us pumped up for the hike with dancing and singing. We all rode together in a van to the trailhead.
The food that was offered was catered to out dietary needs (pescatarian/no dairy) and was sooo good! Fresh fruit, veggies, juice, and even some fish!
The crew was very energetic and friendly throughout the entire experience. Our guides were Rafael and Ester. Both very encouraging the whole way through. We felt very safe with them. Rafael was able to each us about the mountain ecology and point out some unique animals to the area. We really appreciated having a female assistant guide (Ester) as well - being two female hikers. The porters went the extra mile (pun intended) to backtrack and take our packs from us on the final stretches to each camp.
The crew was able to accommodate our hiking abilities and needs by altering the route slightly towards the end of the trip. We shortened the trip by a day to be able to summit a little later in the morning because my friend doesn't do well with cold weather. Our guides were very careful with us as we reached the summit, making sure we were safe and encouraging us along the way.
The 2 day Safari was also incredible! I almost wish we could have stayed longer but we were pretty tired after the hike. If you have time, consider an extra day or two of rest at the lodge in between! Octavian also took us out to buy souvenirs during our day off in between the hike and safari!
Our guide Joe for the safari was so nice and he pointed out allll of the birds for my friend and I. He also was extra careful when driving to avoid getting extra dust in the car because we were struggling with allergies on the trip! We had the same amazing chef for the hike and the safari (Matthew).
I would definitely recommend Incredible Africa Adventures for your trip!
The list of what to bring on the website is very accurate and I had everything I needed. If you have any questions just ask the company ahead of time! They will look at all your gear when you arrive to make sure you have what you need but it may be good to check in ahead of time!

A world class tour company
I cannot recommend Matangos Expeditions Tours Tanzania ltd more strongly. I am a secondary school teacher in the US. My students and I spent 12 amazing days with them and they couldn’t have gone more smoothly than they did. We visited Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, and Olduvai Gorge. We also had cultural experiences with the Maasai, Hadzabe, and Datoga tribes. They cultivated a 12 day experience that was truly once in a lifetime. Their guides were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel safe during every moment of the trip. We saw the big five and so much more. Choose Matangos. You will be glad you did

A fantastic trip
Tanzania felt very safe when we followed our guide during the tour. The weather was pleasant, though the sunshine was quite strong during the daytime. The local people were always cheerful, which was truly inspiring.
The Serengeti was vast and breathtaking, full of animals living freely in their natural environment. During the game drive, we could even feel the happiness of the animals. One evening, a group of zebras gathered outside our tent. They never tried to disturb us—they just peacefully grazed on the grass. We never imagined we could be so close to wild animals. It was a deeply healing experience, a place where humans and nature exist in harmony.
The local food was also incredibly fresh and delicious.
For the first six days, we climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with LEKEN Adventure, an excellent company. Alex always replied promptly, even at night, something truly unique about Leken. Our mountain team was also fantastic. Our experienced guide, William, knows everything about the mountain, and his team gave us amazing support throughout the climb.
Kilimanjaro itself is beautiful, full of unique plants and wildlife. Each day on the mountain was physically tiring but immensely rewarding. Nature truly has a healing power!

Really beautiful
We went to the tarangiri nationalpark and it was beautiful but for the rare animals I would definitely recommend the serengeti nationalpark and a minimum of 3 or 4 days for the whole safari to get a great experience.

Nature
I did a 4 day tour with Lulu Safaris Uganda. My guides were Sarah and Gary-Simon, who were both outstanding and great company. The tour was all that I could have asked for and more. The accommodation was beautiful and comfortable. The food was large portions, fresh and delicious. The highlight of the trip was trekking in Bwindi national park to see mountain gorillas. Only complaint is that 4 days is too short and I would recommend staying at least a week.

Amazing tour with amazing accommodation
Francis was an amazing guide, he was so accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure we had the best trip.
For a mid range tour, the accommodation was so much better than we expected. The food was also great.
Would highly recommend Safari Connect to anyone

Safari Extrodinare
Our safari through Kiboko Tours & Travel with our guide Sammy exceeded our expectations. We delighted in seeing so many wild African animals and the huge variety of birds we were able see and identify. Sammy was very patient with our group and understood that we were just as interested in seeing the birds as we were the large mammals. He was knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the National Parks we were in and willing to take the time to help us identify birds that he had not seen or identified before. Sammy was always respectful of others but always got us into a great position to photograph the animals even when other guides were rude with their vehicle placement.
The Sopa Lodges where we stayed were very clean, well kept and had friendly, competent staff. The buffets had plentiful good food and enough variety to satisfy our group of 6.
We started with a visit to the Sheldrick Elephant Rescue and a 1/2 day safari to Nairobi National Park the day before our official safari began. This was a distinct highlight. We had no idea there was such variety of wildlife so close to this major city. Also, it helped us understand how to prepare and what to expect on our upcoming safari.
Each National Park we journeyed to, and we went to 6 in all, gave us a look at a new species. We got to view everything from the smallest birds to thousands of wildebeest and antelope, to the great cats and the enormous African Elephants. We were truly stunned by the abundance and variety of wildlife. Samburu National Park won the hearts of our group. Not just its amazing desert remoteness and the huge variety of wildlife; but, we so enjoyed the staff and locals that were particularly welcoming and attentive.
Our itinerary was great. There wasn’t much down time with the distances we had to travel but it worked well and left enough time for successful safari drives in the parks. We had full days that started early each day but were so rewarding and we had time for a quick afternoon nap most days. Not to say there wasn’t some sleeping in the car!
Excellent job putting together such a wonderful experience for our group. Thank you Kiboko so very much. Be assured we will recommend you to our friends.
