A Wonderful Five-Day Safari with an Outstanding Guide
Our five-day safari through the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha was one of the highlights of our trip to Kenya. Everything was well planned, and each day offered new landscapes, wildlife encounters, and memorable experiences.
David Mnyama was an excellent guide and driver. He was always punctual, professional, friendly, and ready to help. His ability to spot animals was remarkable, and he shared his knowledge of their habits and behavior with genuine passion. Thanks to him, we saw an incredible variety of wildlife at close range while always feeling safe and comfortable.
The visit to the Maasai village gave us an interesting insight into local culture, while the boat ride on Lake Naivasha was another beautiful and enjoyable part of the itinerary.
Jocky Tours provided very good support throughout the entire experience. Communication was quick and courteous from the planning stage until the end of the safari. A minor problem with the accommodation on our final night was dealt with immediately and professionally, and an excellent alternative was arranged.
We returned with wonderful memories and great appreciation for David’s dedication. We highly recommend both David and Jocky Tours to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

We did a TON of research on this trip and are so lucky to have found Serengeti Clarity. There is an overwhelming number of options when it comes time to choose a tour operator, from massive international conglomerates to mom-and-pop shops, but Serengeti Clarity strikes the perfect balance.
The service was top-notch yet affordable, and we got every aspect of what a Safari should be—and then some—from our trip. Simba in the office was super responsive and detailed throughout the pre-trip process and even helped us to arrange rides to and from our hotel in Zanzibar after the safari was over. Our guide, Chalamila, was a true master of his craft. He answered our unending series of questions, took us to off the beaten path areas where, despite being there during high season, we still found ourselves in situations where we were the only people around (elephant crossing, anyone?!), and, simply put, made every day all the more magical for us.
The level of care and attention we received from everyone with Serengeti Clarity was top-notch. At the end of our trip, we were brought back to the office and the whole staff sang us a song and gave us a “Happy Honeymoon” cake!

An Unforgettable Gorilla & Chimpanzee Trekking Experience
My experience in Uganda was absolutely incredible and definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Africa.
The gorilla trekking was completely crazy in the best possible way. Being so close to the gorillas, seeing them in their natural habitat, and especially being able to see a silverback was an unforgettable experience. It is difficult to put into words how special that moment was.
The chimpanzee trekking was also amazing. Walking through the forest looking for them and then being able to observe them in their natural environment was such a unique experience.
I also want to give a special mention to my guide, Eric. He was always attentive to every little detail and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire trip. From making sure I had time to stop and use the bathroom when needed to even washing my muddy shoes after the trekking, he was always looking after me and making sure I had everything I needed.
Everything was very well organized, and as a solo traveler I always felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of.
Uganda was truly an unforgettable experience, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who loves wildlife and wants to experience these incredible animals in their natural habitat.

We have seen many wonderful events during Safari. And we can communicate with our guide to solve problems easily. The most of our accommodations are perfect but some are just so so because of the limited expense maybe.

Thank you, Serengeti Clarity, for a wonderful, once-in-a-lifetime experience! Our trip truly wouldn’t have been the same without our guide, Chalamila.
From the moment we met him, he told us that he doesn’t listen to or talk on the radio and instead goes with what he is feeling, which we really appreciated. Visiting during Tanzania’s high dry season, we were mentally prepared for the big crowds, but we were pleasantly surprised by how many unique and special moments we were able to experience all to ourselves.
We were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five, and so much more! Of course, we were especially looking forward to seeing the Great Wildebeest Migration, but in addition to that, we unexpectedly witnessed an elephant herd crossing a river, and even a lion making a kill during a wildebeest river crossing!
It’s truly special how much your experience can change depending on the season you visit, but even visits on the same day can be completely different depending on your guide. We witnessed firsthand how some guides around us, who didn’t have as much experience reading animal behavior, sometimes disrupted special moments by trying to get as close as possible for a quick photo. We also saw others stranded because they didn’t know how to use a jack to change a tire.
Chalamila, on the other hand, has extensive knowledge of animals, Land Rovers, people, and the vast Serengeti National Park. He carries a map of the entire park in his mind! The roads can be treacherous, with dust, steep hills, and even deep puddles, but we always felt completely safe with the way Chalamila drove.
With years of experience, he was able to answer every question we threw at him. After seven days together, we felt like toddlers asking questions all day long, but he was always so patient and kind with us.
The only things I was bummed about were that the fridge wasn’t really working, so our beers were warm, and the side where I liked to sit didn’t have a handle. Minor things that have probably already been fixed by now!
But everything else, the attention to detail, logistics, food, and accommodations were amazing. I always looked forward to our lunches, and after having to eat a boxed cold lunch on our Kilimanjaro day, I can confidently say that the warm lunches are far superior!
We feel incredibly blessed that we got so lucky choosing Serengeti Clarity and being paired with Chalamila. I truly don’t think you could go wrong with anyone on their team.

The tour operator is very good.
I joined a the tour last minute and there were no problems. The tour guide, David, was very friendly and was doing his best to make the us confortable and see a lot of different animals. He knows a lot about the wildlife. The best part of the tour was Maasai Mara.

Our safari with Jocky Tours was a truly memorable experience. David was an excellent guide and driver: knowledgeable, reliable, attentive, and passionate about his work. He took us to beautiful places and helped us enjoy some incredible wildlife sightings.
The entire itinerary was interesting and varied, from the Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru to the boat ride on Lake Naivasha and the Maasai village visit. A small issue with our final hotel booking was handled quickly and professionally by the agency.
