His knowledge was remarkable, but even more impressive was the passion with which he shared it.
He was patient, kind, professional, and always made us feel safe and welcome. Every question was answered with enthusiasm, and every day felt like a new adventure. His calm personality, great sense of humor, and genuine love for nature made every moment even more enjoyable.
A safari is not only about the animals you see—it is about the people who guide you through the experience. Thanks to him, we didn’t just see Africa; we truly experienced it.

Amazing safari
Our 8-day Tanzania safari with Summer Winter Africa Adventures was nothing short of spectacular. From the very first email, the response was quick and thorough, making us feel confident about the planning. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our guide team – Festo and Noreen – who turned out to be the heart of the entire trip.
Festo is an absolute master behind the wheel. His driving skills on rough terrains and muddy tracks were extraordinary; we never felt unsafe even during intense game drives. He had an eagle eye for spotting animals from afar and always positioned the vehicle perfectly for the best photo angles. Noreen, on the other hand, brought warmth and deep knowledge to every moment. Her cheerful personality made long drives feel short, and her encyclopedic understanding of bird calls, animal behavior, and local ecology enriched every sighting. She could name every tree and explain the migration patterns with such clarity that we felt like junior biologists.
The highlight came on just our second day in the Serengeti. By noon, we had already completed the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the elusive black rhino – a feat many safari-goers wait weeks for. But the real magic happened that afternoon: we witnessed not one, but two separate river crossings of wildebeest and zebras within a single afternoon. The thunder of hooves, the crocodile ambushes, and the sheer determination of the herds left us speechless. Both Festo and Noreen coordinated seamlessly, anticipating the crossing points and getting us front-row seats without disturbing the animals.
The vehicle was well-maintained, with pop-up roofs and charging ports. The lodge and tented camps chosen were comfortable and authentic, with great food and friendly staff. Considering the quality of guiding, accommodation, and the raw wonders we saw, the price felt more than fair. I cannot recommend Summer Winter Africa Adventures enough – they delivered reliability, professionalism, and genuine passion. A thousand thanks to Festo and Noreen for making our dream safari a reality.

We spent a week on safari with Lawrence - an experience we will never forget! We were able to see an incredible number of animals up close and learn a great deal about them. Excellent price-quality service
We booked a 3-day safari with Uwanda from Dar es Salaam, including transfers, a boat safari, a game drive, and a bush walk. As it wasn't our first safari, we were looking for a good price-quality service, and Uwanda delivered exactly that.
Everything was excellent, especially the game drive with Jafari and Fadhili, who were both professional and attentive. We really enjoyed exploring the park with them, they knew the area incredibly well and shared their knowledge throughout the day.
We would definitely recommend Uwanda to anyone looking for a well-organized and great-value safari experience.

Very bad
My boyfriend had the worst experience right from the start to the end of the trip whatever he paid for is not what he received and we both were greatly disappointed since the reviews are high but services provided didn’t meet our expectations. He wasn’t picked up from the airport like the agreement had started,he hired his own vehicle yet he had cleared for the vehicle with the company, he fueled it by himself using his own credit,all park entrances he cleared himself amidst all chaos of being new to the country and still having to deal with everything by himself, he had been promised a vehicle pickup at 9am but the vehicle arrived at 3pm,he was receiving only excuses from the tour operator with no actions being done, besides clearing everything for himself he had to handle all the expenses and the owner of the safari kept claiming to make a refund my boyfriend never enjoyed anything about the safari yet it was his dream goal to make it to Uganda and experience the wild life and nature but each day that came by came with a lot of stress and temptations on him he was never given the accommodations he paid for
Something needs to be done cause all this leaves a bad image on the country and the tourism sector

Very well organised and flexible
The tour was handled very professionally, communication between the two parties from the outset were excellent. I was happy what I paid for my safari and the drivers who are also the tour guides have excellent knowledge and are punctual. The lunch’s and accommodation (we choose mid level) was excellent.

With John hagiah‘s help, our trip has been absolutely wonderful. i want to go here again！
My English makes me to communicate with some difficulty. Under John hagiah’s guidance, he always uses simple words to introduce wildlife. I could understand nearly all the animal names and their behaviours.His service is excellent. provided free bottled water in the vehicle.
All meals were included, tasted good, and we had no stomach issues. The accommodation was generally nice as well. We are really satisfied with company‘s service.
