Amazing adventure in Uganda 🇺🇬

Our guide, Andrew, was exceptional—knowledgeable, accommodating, and always attentive to our requests and questions. Efficient and excellent rush safari in Tanzania
Booking via safari booking.com with Pedro went very smooth, he was responsive within a day, adjusted the program according to needs. Witson was excellent game driver, always ready on time, flexible on demand, kind and safe. I started with Lake Manyara, continued to South Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, and Tarangire, all in four days. If in rush you could skip Lake Manyara focus more on Serengeti. We could not complete big five, could not catch with leopard, but had an excellent time observing cheetahs in action at Serengeti. It was an well spent 4 days in wild with plenty of photos. How do you choose a safari company? Well, I discounted travel agents as I wished to organise everything myself. Then many companies don't book solo travellers and some reviews are better than others. I came across Kojuu Safaris and Judith in the office was so very helpful and answered all my questions so graciously. The itinerary suited me and the price was reasonable so I booked with Kojuu Safaris.
I was met at the airport in Arusha and taken to the hotel before beginning my 5 day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongo National Parks.
Patrick was the driver/guide and Abdul his assistant. Patrick was experienced and so very knowledgeable and they were both wonderful companions on the trip. Patrick had the knowledge and knack of finding game and was often among the first to arrive at spectacular scenes. Even in Ngorongo Crater he was early to arrive at the appearance of the very rare Black Rhino.
The accommodation was perfect and overall I would give Kojuu Safaris 10 out of 10 and I am now in the process of recommending them to friends who are contemplating safaris.

Just price and good attention
The staff was very helpful and attentive, expecially Katelynn Duncan. The services were as described. We only had problems with the JSL transport company, which delayed the transfer in two tours and did not provide any information about the delays. On the way there (to Marrioth Park), we only had a 10-minute stop for lunch and on the way back (to Joburg) we only had a 10-minute stop because we asked the driver for it. We also did not have breakfast on the last day returning to Joburg. I don't know if the accommodation forgot.

Incredible Safari Tour
I had an exceptional experience with Vision Safari & Tours and I can't recommend them enough! They were incredibly responsive via email, phone call, and WhatsApp, and they patiently answered all of my questions — and I had a LONG list! As a solo traveler, it was important for me to feel well taken care of, and I truly did.
When I asked about switching to a different lodge or camp, they were more than willing to make changes and find something that suited my preferences. It was great to work with a company that was flexible and dedicated to ensuring I had the best experience possible. Another thoughtful touch was providing me with a pair of binoculars for the safari. It really enhanced my experience, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the incredible wildlife.
One of the most impressive moments came on the day of my arrival. My family friend, who was supposed to pick me up from the airport, mistakenly went to the wrong airport (Kilimanjaro instead of Arusha). I called the tour company at 7pm when I arrived at Arusha airport, and within 30 minutes, they had someone there to pick me up, despite the VERY short notice. I was so grateful for their quick response and willingness to help in such a situation.
I also love that this is a local company run by a group of young, passionate businessmen. Supporting them felt great, knowing they care about providing authentic, quality experiences while contributing to the local community. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better safari experience!

A Truly Unforgettable Experience!
Our trip was absolutely amazing! There is nothing we would change about it.
From the very start, we enjoyed the company of the couple traveling with us and our guide, Morgen. It truly felt like we were a group of friends exploring together, which made the experience even more special. Morgen was incredibly accommodating, super friendly, and an amazing guide—we couldn’t have asked for better!
The accommodations along the way were fantastic, exceeding our expectations in terms of service and comfort. The food was delicious, from the tasty picnics to the wonderful dinners.
Of course, the highlight of the trip was exploring the breathtaking landscapes of the national parks. Seeing wildlife in its natural habitat was an indescribable and life-changing experience.
A huge thank you to the entire team for organizing everything so perfectly. Every detail was taken care of, making this an unforgettable journey.

Flexible, fantastic, best guides!
Upon arrival in Rwanda, we were greeted by our first guide, Smith, who stayed with us for the 5 first days in Rwanda. Smith was from the beginning very friendly and when we arrived in our first hotel, it seemed that the booking did not came through, but he arranged it very professionally so we would not notice anything.
The next days we were guided by him were very fun. He was always smiling and making jokes etc. Also, as this was a private tour, we could adapt if needed. For example, there was the Mount Bisoke hike foreseen but we were not really fit to be able to do this, so we could easily change this into the Diane Fossey trail.
After 5 days we had to say goodbye to Smith and we met our 2nd guide who would guide us for 10 days in Uganda, Stephen. But we could not leave Smith before we had a piece of his birthday cake together.
We told Stephen he had a hard job to match to Smith's enthousiasm, but we felt from the beginning that this would not be a problem.
Stephen's knowledge about Uganda was from a very high level. In the 10 days we spend time together he NEVER used a navigator and we always arrived on our destinations without any issues. Also did he know a lot about the politcal/historical facts for Uganda and Eastern Africa.
Stephen was very flexible in the planning (together with the main office of NGONI Safaris). Because we had some issues due to medical reasons to do a lot of and difficult hikes. So he would do his outmost to get us on the easiest trails to track Gorillas or Chimps. During the game drives, he made it happen for us to see multiple leopards and lionesses.
As we forgot a bag with important medication in on of the lodges, he also made it happen that these were brought to us a couple days later together with a guide who was also coming our way (we did the reverse tour of Uganda so it was a bit of a challenge).
To sum up the 2 weeks we spend in Rwanda and Uganda, we could not have any better guides who were this flexible and compassionate and who did their job with more than full of their hearts.

Unforgettable Adventure in Tarangire National Park
I recently had the most amazing safari experience with our guide Saimon, spending a day in Tarangire National Park .From start to finish, it was an unforgettable adventure.
Saimon is incredibly knowledgeable and made the entire experience so much more enjoyable. He didn’t just tell us about the animals we encountered, but also shared fascinating stories and insights about the park’s history, wildlife, and ecosystem. It was clear that Saimon has a deep passion for the place and its inhabitants, which really enriched the experience for me.
What I truly appreciated about Saimon was his punctuality and reliability. He was right on time for pick-up (which is not always the case as you may already know), and throughout the day, he was professional and attentive to our needs. His calm demeanor and clear communication made everything run smoothly, and I always felt in good hands especially as a solo traveler.
