About: Zambia
The Zambezi River, Victoria Falls and Livingstone Are Great Zambian Assets
Overall rating
4/5

A truly rewarding Zambian experience is that which follows the Zambezi River. The river itself is so engrained into the Zambian scape. The boat cruises at Victoria Falls, Livingstone are great and for the more adventurous further travel with the river to Lake Kariba is for the taking or better still follow the river from source. Road network in Zambia remains a challenge but with the new economic growth one hopes for a speedy resolution on this.

About: Zimbabwe
Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe is one of the greatest world destinations for the discerning tourist.
Overall rating
4/5

Zimbabwe remains beset with a myriad of political challenges. It is however a pure heaven experience to a descerning tourist. The ease of US$ currency usage is more than satisfying. By all measures Victoria Falls offers international interaction and unmatched quality of experience. So many activities complement one's experience ranging from the famous 111M Bunji to elephant rides. Scenery is as if God had extra time for creativeness at the panoramic views of Victoria Falls area and the suroundings.

Botswana is very developed in terms of facilities and wildlife viewing. They are very ecologically conservationists and have taken great care of their parks.

In my oppinion Botswana offers some of the best wildlife viewing and birdwatching in Africa, combined with friendly people, knowledgable guides and comfortable accommodation in various price classes.

Although we found Botswana beautiful, it did not have the typical majestic beauty many people assume is present throught Africa. There were no giant mountains or lakes, just simple unadulterated lovely wilderness.

Amazing wildlife
Overall rating

We were very lucky with the animals we saw, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, vervet monkeys, baboons, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, and flamingos, huge numbers of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, and many others. Our guide was very good, and our cook prepared surprisingly good food for us. The tents in which we camped were fine, but the bathrooms at the campsites were disgusting.

It was our first stop so memorable for that. The elephants and flamingos are standouts here.

Review about Tarangire National Park by club60

Our last park and one where the wildlife was more elusive. Perhaps because it was drier. The wildlife surrounding the Sopa Lodge were elephants and WaterBuck primarily and could be easily spotted.
