Everything about our experience with Suricata Safaris well and truly exceeded our expectations! Prior to departure, Hilary was attentive, answering all our questions no matter the hour and the airport transfers were smooth, comfortable and hassle-free allowing us to relax into our holiday and enjoy everything that the region has to offer. Accommodation wise, we were increasingly impressed in each location - the staff were inexhaustibly welcoming, the rooms were comfortable and luxuriously clean after a day on the dusty roads, and the food, which included farm-to-table culinary delights made us wish we were staying for longer!
As for the safari experience itself, we had a truly unforgettable time and most of the credit goes to our wonderful guide Mandela. Knowledgeable, respectful, fun and with a clear love for his work and nature, he calmly yet enthusiastically introduced us to the stunning landscape and took us to view ‘all’ the animals we’d hoped to see, along the way answering all our questions with ease and we had many an interesting chat over meals. Topping it off, the two girls and the couple we were on safari with were absolute gems who felt like family by the end of our five days.
All round, we had a phenomenal time and I cannot recommend Suricata Safaris more highly. Thank you to the whole team for making it such a wonderful experience!!

Marvelous safari with Jonathan
I have no words to say how it is wonderful with Jonathan our guide. We could see beautiful animals even rare in amboseli as girafe crossing juste in front of us !!!
Jonathan is a guide since 19 years and he perfectly know where we have to go to see lion, girafe, éléphants…..

Amazing 3 day safari on the Masai Mara! Martin was so wonderful as a guide…he was professional, nice, and very knowledgeable. We saw the big five plus cheetahs plus more. Great experience overall!

Unforgettable trip
We will remember this trip our whole life. We were 5 people including a teenager and we went to Tarangire, Serengeti, Nogorongoro and Manyara. We saw the big five and so many animals and beautiful birds: thousands of zebras, gnous, girafes, buffalos, water bucks, lions, austrich, baboons, facoshers, impalas, gazelles, and even leopards and a cheetah eating an animal in the grass and a rhino. The period was the beginning of the great migration (end of October, beginning of November), and we could see « troupeau » running down the hills, crossing the road, just like in films :-). But the cherry on the cake during this journey was definitely our guide, Kindu, and our cook, Sule. Kindu is a super driver, very careful, and a very generous and kind man: he told us a lot of stories about the animals, the plants and the birds that we saw and he did everything to make this trip unforgettable. Plus, he speaks English and Chinese! And Sule prepared such delicious dishes! It was a chance to have warm food from breakfast till dinner, cooked every day, with fresh ingredients, and not have lunch boxes at all. It was very comfy and welcoming to share these moments with both of them and we feel all very grateful. If you want to sleep among impalas and zebras, eat delicious food and make unique trip, ask Godlisten, the organiser, to call Kindu and Sule!

Our 5 day group Safari was a truly unforgettable experience. Being safari novices, my friend and I didn't really know what to expect, but Suricata Safaris exceeded all our expectations!! Hilary, the manager, patiently answered all our questions beforehand, and Ali gave us a warm welcome and briefing on arrival. A VERY special thanks goes out to Mandela, our amazing guide and driver on our safari. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, kind and funny. He made sure we spotted all the animals the parks had to offer, drove super safely and on top of that, was extremely nice company to be with. His laughter is contagious! We had very interesting chats over meals. Shoutout also to our fellow travelers who became something like a family after the 5 days travelling together. Suricata seems to care deeply about its employees, and they all seem to have a good rapport with one another. Needless to say, the food was extremely delicious and we seemed to be one of the few groups with hot meals each day, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The lodges that Suricata works with are stunning and the people managing them were absolutely fantastic. If you are hesitating between many offers, look no further. Suricata is your way to go.

Just an incredible experience, for a very competitive price, we just loved every single piece of it
We booked the tour a couple of months before departing, not having much experience about Safaris. The tour that was described sounded really good and we were actually surprised by the good price. Ultimately the trip was just exceptional, even better than what we would have imagined. The guide, Yasin, was perfect and put so much effort into showing and explaining us everything. The car is very comfortable and the accommodations with the food are really great too. Last but not least, the organization of the whole trip was outstanding, everything was taken care of perfectly.
