Wonderful nature, amazing culture and people, an absolute must to visit place!

3 days safari in the Krueger is an absolute te must to get in tune with the beautiful nature this country has to offer. A wonderful unforgettable experience to see all the aninals in the wild, never get tired of it!.. But 3 days are enough. Even staying outside the Krueger is ab3fine and in fact you get to experience more of local life.

Makebsure to spend enough time based in Cape Town. I stayed 9 days there did plenty of excursions and still there would have been more to see further east. Wine estates are a must and totally worth the visits to Stellenbosh and Franshuuk, in Groet Constantia make sure to do the chocolate pairing too!! The bitanical gardens are stunning as are the panoramic drives and cape point, the whales at Hermanus d multiple sites filled with history. Cape Town itself has lots to offer from food to museum to night life.
People are what makes this place special and wonderful.
A place to definitely put in everyone's travel list.. I can't wait to go back!!

It’s hard to put down in words how unique our safari was when me and my husband got married by masaai, I saw a lion 3 meters away, we saw a leopard sleeping on a baobab tree and we’ve had the best guide possible (Kisali), providing us with the best informations, trivias and help. Everything went just perfect, it’s only bad that it ends. Serengeti smile made our honeymoon transcendental.

About: Tanzania
Interesting, the animals were incredible.

Tanzania was great. Animals were spectacular. Our guide Perfect was absolutely wonderful! Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater were fabulous for animals and pictures. I would possibly try a different area of the Serengeti, a long drive from where we were to get to the interesting parts where the animals hang out. The food was not that great but considering the location it was acceptable. Unfortunately you get pretty much the same thing everyday for lunch, cold pasta and cold rice. Dinners were a bit better but not wonderful. All of the people involved were very nice, helpful, professional and accommodating. The rooms were clean. Some of the places used solar panels for hot water so if there were too many tents hooked to one panel they ran out of hot water. I would definitely go back again. The weather was great.

So much more than I had ever imagined!
5/5

I had such an amazing trip. African Traits was with me every step of the way. We communicated for months before the big day. I was all kinds of worried about every little detail. Godfrey assured me he could take care of everything-- and he did! From being picked up at the airport, to being brought back three weeks later, there was always a hospitality professional right there to get me where I needed to go. My climb up Kilimanjaro was a once in a lifetime event. My guide and crew were totally awesome. They got me to the summit and down again, keeping my safe and very, very, well fed. The guide/driver who took us on safari was extremely knowledgeable and had the eyes of an eagle. He found every animal I wanted to see, and a whole bunch more. The accommodations on safari were so far above my expectations, I couldn't believe it. I recommend this company to everyone I meet.

Very professional safari operator who really takes care of you and your needs

We booked a honeymoon safari from Lion King Adventures. From among numerous options, we ended up choosing them based on the great amount of positive online reviews.

They definitely are worth of the given 5 stars, as everything went brilliantly from planning (thank you Pendo and Nickson) to execution, thank you Lion King!

Lion King's nice guide Height met us at Kilimanjaro airport. We wanted to start the trip in a relaxed way by exploring the surroundings of Kilimanjaro, so the first day's program included visiting Materun village and from there to Arusha to rest before the safari.

The next morning, our safari guide Goodluck came to pick us up from the hotel and our safari experience began. Our safari included Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. All the sites were amazing, big thanks to Goodluck, who is a very professional, super friendly and has a great sense of humor. He really knows a lot about the animals, even the direction they are going to next. A true animal wisperer! Goodluck made sure we got to see all of the “big five” during our safari. Challenging situations, such as a flat tire due to the rocky roads of the Serengeti or getting stuck in a muddy road after rain, did not cause any bigger problems as Goodluck took care of the situations well and got us to the camp safely.
He also has a huge knowledge of the nature and animals which allowed us to get a lot of additional information about the flora and fauna, which was greatly appreciated.

I can highly recommend the Lion King Adventures safari and especially Goodluck for your safari guide!

Memorable Safari
5/5

Our Safari has been perfect! We started our trip with a visit of the Materuni waterfalls and the local village. A quick stop to admire the Kilimanjaro and back in Arusha.

The day after our safari guide, whose name is Goodluck, took us to the Tarangire National park, home of elephants, lions, giraffe, thousands of years old baobab trees and much more. The next days we traveled to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti National parks.

Lion King organisation and in particular the knowledge and work ethics of Goodluck, have been a real value added. He has been very informative, friendly and always willing to listen to our million questions.

His years of experience, confidence and patience made us feel comfortable in every situation, like when we had a flat tire or when the heavy rain got us almost stuck in the mud, no stress and all went very smoothly.

I can strongly recommend Lion King and Goodluck for your safari in Tanzania!

Unforgettable in every way.
5/5

This was the trip of a lifetime. From the moment you land you are warmly welcomed. Our guide was Steve. He truly made the trip, going above and beyond every day. He was extremely knowledgeable and taught us so much. He told us about every animal we saw—while they were mere feet away from us. Mind blowing!

My daughter (6 at the time) asked him every question that popped into her head and he was quick to answer every one of them. She still tells me random facts that he taught her during our time there. Or will say “remember…” She cried when she had to leave and asked if we could stay. Having to go home really is the worst part of the trip. I wanted to cry too.

From the service to the price to the mind blowing experience, you will NOT be disappointed.

We are planning a trip back.

Mr Hassan was incredibly responsive and did everything to please us, even last minute plane changes.
5/5

Our family of 5 with adult children spent a wonderful 5 days at Nyerere Park. The tour operator takes care of all the details and you do not have to worry about anything. From pick up in Zanzibar, flight to Nyerere, drive to the lodge (Africa Safari camp) , games, excursions and return to Dar Es Salam, everyone was always on time. The lodge itself is rustic with very large, clean, attractive and comfortable quarters ( I would recommend the banda) and good mosquito nets. Of course this is not a luxury camp so do not expect windows, air conditioning, electricity 24/7 and a hair dryer. The manager Mr. Marc has the best personality and will solve all your issues. Forgot your adaptor- he will find one. No cash to settle your bills- he will take a credit card. No hot water- he will make it appear. Meals were included and plentiful, if a bit repetitive but the logistics of feeding so many people far from everywhere is mind boggling. The excursions were of course the highlight of our stay and we truly believe we had the best guide (Mr. Martin) and driver (Mr. Ramson). They drove us tirelessly from morning to dusk through very diverse landscapes and were able to spot all the animals we had hoped to see. We were literally face to face with elephants, visited a lioness with her cubs, observed a very large herd of buffalo lining for the water and spied on a hyena crunching the spine of a carcasse. In the last hours of our last drive, Mr Martin pushed on and managed to spot a male lion which he said we could not leave Tanzania without seeing. We bathed in the hot springs, did a long river boat where we saw many types of birds (in addition to hippos plenty) including an African Fish Eagle catching fish and pushing his victory call. In addition to being a great tracker, Mr Martin was an excellent source of information on all subjects. On our last day we visited a Masai family. With the help of Mr Martin as a translator, we were able to ask many questions and answer theirs. There was also a friendly Masai jumping/dancing competition betweeen our boys and the boys of the family which was a lot of fun. I cannot conclude without mentioning the bush walk with Dr. Simba who is such a character and will make you laugh with his stories. Everyone we met in Tanzania was very friendly. All in all incredible memories. We really did not want to leave.
