Thank you so much to Great lions safaris for an amazing tour! We had the trip of a lifetime with our wonderful guide Godfrey. He is a genuinely lovely human and we are grateful for his time and care spent sharing his passion for all creatures (especially gorillas!) and the unique local cultures around Rwanda and Uganda. In Rwanda we visited Akagera where we saw so many majestic animals and we absolutely loved the chimp trekking in Nyungwe that doubled as an epic hike. It was particularly special to visit the magical place that is Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda and see the Gorillas up close.Godfrey was both incredibly accommodating with our requests and changes of plans - I was quite nervous and they ensured we felt safe and comfortable. We would highly recommend booking with Great lions safaris and we hope to tour with Great lions safaris again one day!

Mostly OK…
The tour operator was mostly ok. The tour guides where great. The mani office not so great.
Communication was poor. I had to call to verify details. Emails not sent, text messages not sent.
They added two people to our, which was ok. The part that was not ok was that they added a stop on our tour at cultural sight. It was two hour or so wasted. It was during the time that we where scheduled for lunch. So we has a rushed lunch and the afternoon was shot.
Worst of all was on the return flight from Cape Town to Joburg they did not meet us at the airport to provide transportation back to the place we where staying. We happened to see a driver from the place we where staying at.

Made my dream come true
What an awesome experience!!! I was travelling on a budget and this tour was everything i could have hoped for. They made it so easy for me - everything was included (besides the things they tell you about, and SOME activities if they are not on your itinerary but you can always do them on the day if you pay in cash - bring some cash with as it is also nice to tip your guides and staff). They fetched me from my hotel in Nairobi and dropped me off there too so there was no need to worry about getting to anywhere to meet them. Albert, our guide, was AWESOME. he drove us from place to place and was friendly, on time, and knowledgeable. And the BEST OFF ROAD DRIVER EVER! The parks roads are bad - so expect a bumpy ride - but Albert was an expert in the 4 x 4 vehicle. we saw all the game you can imagine. There are choices for 3 star, 4 or 5 star accommodation - I chose the budget and camping option and it was great! I highly recommend this to anyone - its a bucket list trip. I only wish I could have done longer.

Great experience and perfect organization
Hello,
we went on a 5-day safari, organized by Wild Pride.
They offer standard programs which did not really fit to our needs (travelling arrangements etc). I just gave them what I wanted and needed and everything was organized in a perfect and easy way.
Communication was very easy - I had previously spoken with a different provider and they were incapable to react to my wishes.
Driver - we had Deo as driver - a very nice guy, communicative and with a lot of background information he could give to us and even more important an absolutely professional driver.
Animals - well, we saw them all, Deo knew the right spots, the Big Five of course and many many other animals and all close by. So really a great experience.
Hotels - we stayed at the Four Season, the Melia at the Ngorongoro and the Melia at Arusha - all were perfect choices. Not the cheapest ones, but that was our selection, Wild Pride took care of a smooth organization.
I usually don't write such positive reviews, but here really everything fitted very well and was adjusted completely to our needs.
Therefore: at least 5 stars for Wild Pride!

Wonderful safari with Suricats!
We were on a 5 day safari - Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The organization was at the highest level - our manager Tizia always responded very quickly and friendly, the meeting at Arusha airport was on time. Istrukrazh guided Deniel before the safari and provided us with a lot of useful information. Our guide Elias was above all praise - always calm, he systematically and purposefully looked for animals and did everything so that we could see as much as possible. It is especially worth noting the efforts of our cook Musa - for breakfast, lunch and dinner we always had fresh, very tasty hot food. We will highly recommend Suricats to all our friends!

Very professional and kind
It was such a wonderful experience. Mansoor is very professional and kind. He helped us with everything we needed. He really wanted us to see as much animals as possible and we really appreciated it. The whole experience was amazing, the price was right in our opinion. It was such a wild thing and we loved it. We suggest you to choose African Pangolin Safaris, it really worth it!!

BEYOND EXPECTATIONS
The trip was personalized and the organization was amazing. Pick up and drop off were perfectly on time. Clifton, the Operations Director made follow up calls and ensured I had arrived and checked in for my vacation to Saltlick Safari Lodge and Taita Hills Safari Resort.
He recommended places to visit like the Museum, game drives and activities and they were all enjoyable.

Don’t hesitate, book with Wakanda!
We booked our safari through Wakanda after a lot of extensive research and it was the best thing we could have done!!! If you are thinking about booking Wakanda, don’t hesitate, just book! Wakanda are an amazing, reputable, fully licensed company and will go out of their way to give you the best experience.
You will also be supporting a local Tanzanian run company in Arusha with incredibly dedicated staff.
Wakanda were absolutely amazing from the word go! They couldn’t do enough for us. We dealt with Ushma at the booking office and she helped us create our incredible itinerary and was on hand to answer our many questions! Nothing was too much trouble, she was so helpful and friendly!
Our safari was out of this world - we honestly had one of the best experiences of our lives and saw an incredible amount of wildlife! Our guide Andrew was an absolute legend! He was so experienced, knowledgable and taught us so much about the parks, the wildlife and the Tanzanian and Maasai culture. He shared so many stories with us and we really felt like we gained a true friend. He is such a kind, caring man and nothing was too much trouble. He really went out of his way to make sure we had incredible animal sightings and experiences and wanted to give us the best experience possible! His eyesight was incredible as he would spot things so far away, things we would never have seen otherwise. Andrew worked tirelessly on our trip to make sure we saw the big 5, which we did! We felt incredible safe with Andrew whilst travelling through Tanzania, a country we had not visited before and we were fell in love with the country. It truly is a special place.
The trucks are awesome and kitted out with everything you need with plenty of drinks etc. Communication was absolutely fantastic. The lunch is amazing, they are one of the only companies to offer full hot meals everyday and you eat like a king!!!
If you are looking for a safari company, do book Wakanda. We highly recommend them and do ask if at all possible to have Andrew as your guide. You will have an incredible time and a trip of a lifetime. What’s more, you’ll be supporting a local company run by truly dedicated staff.
