Conned out of £20,000
I was part of a family group that went on holiday to Tanzania, organised by Walter Tenga from Galloping Safaris. When were leaving our final location, Breezes Lodge in Zanzibar, we were told that the bill had not been paid. Walter had taken full payment for all the accommodation dn activities and had failed to pay Breezes. We had to organise £20,000 before Breezes would let us leave for the airport. You cannot image the stress of having to find £20,000!!
DO NOT BOOK WITH GALLOPING SAFARIS. We have been told that he has done this before to other clients and we know that the police have brought him in various times for questioning. We still do not have all out money back from Walter always says he will pay and doesn't. That makes him a liar.

Our Kenya safari was an unforgettable adventure! Well-organized with a flexible schedule.
We had the most incredible Kenya safari experience with this tour operator. From the very beginning, everything was well organized and thoughtfully planned by Peter, which made the entire journey smooth and stress-free. Our driver & guide Moses was excellent. We always felt in safe hands. He was very knowledgeable, sharing a lot of information about the country, did different National Parks & animals. He was also very attentive, ensuring we were comfortable and well looked after at all times. The schedules were well structured but also flexible enough to allow us to truly enjoy the adventure without ever feeling rushed. Each day brought breathtaking scenery, abundant wildlife sightings, and unforgettable moments that we will cherish forever. Overall, it was a fabulous safari experience, and we couldn’t recommend this operator more highly to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Wonderful and safe!
My wife and I had an absolutely amazing experience with Mali Kale! Our guides, Richard and Melkiory, were just as excited and passionate as we were – maybe even more.
We visited four major national parks, each of them unforgettable, and we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Four.
We stayed at three wonderful lodges, all very comfortable, and we were always well taken care of. Everything felt safe and perfectly organized.
What we loved most was how well the trip was tailored to our wishes, needs, and expectations. It truly felt like a personal experience made just for us.
I can honestly recommend Mali Kale with all my heart. And remember – they are local, so you get a true Tanzanian experience, not just a European or Western version of a safari.

This Safari exceeded my expectations. Due to the knowledge if our guide and trackers, we were able to see so many animals. We were not expecting to see so many and be so close to them. To go on a Safari has always been a dream of mine, and this did not dissapoint. Spending 3 days in Kreugar Park, and 1 day at a private reserve we were able to see an amazing variety. We enjoyed it as a family (10yo, 21yo, parents and Grandparents). The accomodation at both places was beautiful, comfortable,immaculate and accomodatiing.

An unforgettable experience
We had an unforgettable safari experience in the Serengeti, made even more special thanks to the incredible team who supported us throughout. Traveling with a 1-year-old, we were a little nervous at first, but everything was tailored perfectly to make the trip comfortable and safe for our family.
Our driver, Ole, was exceptional – knowledgeable, patient, and always ensuring we were at ease while still giving us the full safari experience. Joseph, our customer representative, was equally outstanding. From the very beginning, he made sure every detail was taken care of and was always available to answer our questions, which gave us complete peace of mind.
We also want to give a big thanks to Stephen, the director, who kept in touch throughout to ensure we were happy and everything was running smoothly. His personal care made a real difference and showed how much the company values its guests.
The lodges and camps we stayed in were beautiful, family-friendly, and gave us the perfect balance of adventure and comfort. At every stage, we felt safe, cared for, and able to truly enjoy the breathtaking wildlife and landscapes.
This was a trip we will never forget, and we cannot thank Ole, Joseph, and Stephen enough for making it so seamless and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone, even with little ones – it was a dream come true.

Budget operator that doesn't discount on service
Maybe due to time difference, the web chat function on Jocky's website is unresponsive, however, the email communication is prompt and informative. The quoted price is competitive, and names of all the accommodations were given in the quote so if you're not satisfied with them after researching into reviews you can pay for upgrade. Our guide, John Walter, is very knowledgeable and experienced. We saw pretty much all the animals, big or small, and had the unforgettable experience of elephant herd passing right in front of our vehicle, lions mating, and up close with giraffes and zebras. Highly recommend without hesitation.
