Incredible 6 days Uganda tour
We booked our 6-day Uganda safari with Bamboo Ecotours, and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish. It was a bit last-minute, but Edison made it happen—super responsive, professional, and flexible. I traveled with my 16-year-old daughter, and now Uganda has stolen both our hearts. She’s already saying she wants to come back!
We started in Kigali, Rwanda and ended in Entebbe, Uganda, which made the journey even more special as we got to experience two countries in one trip.
Our guide John was simply the best—so friendly, kind, and full of knowledge. He told us stories about Ugandan culture, wildlife, and even about his own family, which made the whole experience feel incredibly personal. He made sure we were safe, comfortable, and truly immersed in everything Uganda has to offer.
The itinerary was perfectly paced. Highlights included:
• Gorilla trekking in Bwindi – surreal and humbling.
• Golden monkey trekking and Lake Bunyonyi – magical sunsets.
• Queen Elizabeth National Park safari and boat cruise – we saw elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and so many birds!
• Chimp trekking in Kibale – energetic and fascinating.
• Bigodi Community Tour – we helped cook a traditional Ugandan meal and even helped make local banana beer! This is an absolute must-do.
Every lodge was cozy and clean, and the food… wow! Fresh, flavorful, and full of local flair.
Uganda is a gem—lush landscapes, kind people, and unforgettable wildlife. We felt welcomed everywhere we went. Thank you John and Edison for making this a dream trip. Highly, highly recommend Bamboo Ecotours to anyone thinking about Africa!

Magical experience
We had a magical few days exploring the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Our sales advisor, Lambert took the time to understand what we wanted from the trip and tailored the trip to ensure it met our needs. We were really impressed with our accommodations, especially the ones within the Serengeti. Everyone at the hotels were so welcoming and accommodating. Our guide Hussein was always on time, and extremely knowledgable about the animals and vegetation. We experienced some minor issues, but Hussein looked to resolve them straight away which put us at ease. We had a few suggestion to further improve the service for future users which the tour company were more than happy to take on board. All in all it was a great experience, Hussein made every effort to ensure we saw the Big 5 and all other animals as close as possible. Hussein had an eagle eye and was able to spot animals from afar, and had an amazing way of talking to the animals, making them stop - giving us time to take the perfect shots. Beyond the safari, we have learnt more about the culture, language and people which has been fantastic. We would definitely recommend this experience and tour company - it was certainly great value for money.

Me and my wife did the 7 days Kenya and Tanzania tour. Martin was our tour operator agent. He was communicative and responsive to all requests and doubts. The tour was well planned with him and all accommodations were excellent. The tour guide for the Kenya part, Nelson, was one of the best tour guide we have ever had. He was nice, communicative, and he was always explaining interesting facts about the animals. On the opposite side, the tour guide for the Tanzania part, Mackenzie, was not communicative and he should be more friendly to the clients (reason because of 4 star rating). All in all, we had a great safari, we saw the big 5 and many animals. I would choose again Shanjoy Tours for a safari

Well organized photo safari, excellent accomodations arranged by Ozone Light.
We had an excellent guide with a keen eye to spot wildlife. He always kept in touch with other guides to make sure we got close to the best sights. We had a good schedule with early mornings and time to relax at the end of the each day.

Fantastic Safari Service
I recently went on a fantastic safari in Tanzania with Kihindo Tours and Safaris, and I was really impressed with how smoothly everything was organised. Winnie handled all the logistics - from transport to meals and accommodation - making the whole trip stress-free from start to finish.
Our journey started with a drive from our hotel in Dar es Salaam to the train station, followed by a 2-hour train ride to Morogoro, where we were met by KP, our friendly driver. He then drove us 2 hours to Mikumi National Park, while our luggage was taken ahead to the hotel so we could begin our safari straight away.
Our guide Danford was excellent; knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and very fluent in English. On Day 1, we had a full-day safari (around 9:30 AM to 6 PM) in an open jeep, with lunch provided inside the park. We were lucky to see a wide range of animals including zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, elephants, warthogs, buffalo, antelope, a snake and a lizard.
The hotel we stayed at was about 15 minutes from the park and provided both breakfast and dinner. Everything was comfortable and well taken care of.
On Day 2, we had another early start (7 AM to 4 PM) for more safari time. Since we had already seen so many animals on the first day, Danford made a special effort to find lions for us - and he did! We also visited a local Maasai tribe, which was a great cultural experience.
Day 3 was the journey back to Dar es Salaam, but even then, we were treated to a special moment — a family of lions on the road, with a lioness walking right next to our vehicle. A real highlight to end the trip.
Both KP and Danford were fantastic guides; professional, friendly, and full of insight. The whole experience was well-organised, relaxed, and enjoyable.
If you’re planning a safari in Tanzania, I’d definitely recommend Kihindo Tours and Safaris.

Our trip to Pilanesberg National Park today was absolutely brilliant, thanks to Thomas, our fantastic driver, and Wisdom, our amazing ranger! Thomas did a superb job getting us there; I felt incredibly safe, enjoyed his interesting stories, and felt cared for throughout the journey. Once in the park, Wisdom made sure we had a great game drive. He was lovely, went out of his way to help us see as many animals as possible, and shared a ton of fascinating facts about them. Highly recommend both Thomas and Wisdom for an unforgettable experience!

trip of a lifetime
We spent 2 weeks in Tanzania and Zanzibar and everything was perfectly planned! The itinerary was carefully put together considering our needs and wants for the trip with Socrates making sure to meet all of our requests. Our driver Isaya was very kind, friendly and enthusiastic from the moment he picked us up until the moment he dropped at at the airport, making sure we kept the time schedule but also allowing us to soak in this amazing experience.
The safari has been one of the most amazing experiences we ever had. From the first day our driver located all the big 5 (yes even a rare sighting of a rhino in Serengeti). He even managed for as us to see a lion during hunting, he was very knowledge and we learned a lot about wildlife as well as life in Tanzania. Every day our guide would pick up our packed lunch and drive off to another amazing game drive, navigating expertly through the savannah.
Besides visiting Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater, we also had the chance visiting a local Masai village in Arusha where we were greeted from Alex their leader which gave us a great insight of their lifestyle.
Before our trip to Zanzibar we also had the opportunity to visit a local school that the Rhea foundation supports through their philanthropic work. Getting to meet and help these children is an experience of a lifetime.
Isaya dropped us at the airport timely and there he had a flight to Zanzibar were we had a few days of relaxing before our return back home.
