Amazing experience
5/5

We had a wonderful time on our 3 day Masai Mara tour. We managed to see all of the Big 5, including a leopard and cheetah! Our driver Elias made sure we got a comprehensive view of the park, and even stayed 2 hours later than we were
scheduled to for us to see more lions. Would highly recommend this group tour, it's certainly an experience I will never forget.

Excellent communication and amazing trip, so helpful.
5/5

We contacted Gift Tembo and he was excellent for communication. He answered all our questions and adapted plans when asked, we could not have asked for better service as he was excellent. Our driver JJ and chef Gadi were also phenomenal over the few days of our safari, the driving was safe and the food was so tasty, we ate like queens for the few days with water and drinks always in the van for our long game drives. The service was fantastic from start to finish. We saw so many animals and the driver did his best to search them out and get us good viewing angles. The trip was 100% excellent. We choose a budget camping safari and even that exceeded expectations, tents were clean large and the sleeping mat were very comfortable. We had the most amazing trip, thank you Meru Slopes ❤️

Exceeding our expectations in so many ways!
5/5

My father and I decided on an adventure in Tanzania. My father is 79 years old and this was a big dream of his. Our goal was to climb with a local tour company (as a lot of tours are owned outside of Tanzania). This particular tour company was recommended and we decided to book our trip.

Our goal was to climb Kilimanjaro in 8 days on the Lomosho trail and then after the climb do a safari.

Upon landing in Kilimanjaro, the internet at the airport crashed and we couldn’t get our visas for over three hours, our plane was already late an hour upon arrival. Edwin and Frank were patiently waiting for us outside the airport and greeted us with huge smiles and immediately we felt like we were in good company and would be well taken care of during our trip.

Edwin set us up with our climbing team, with lead guide Chuwa, and assistant guide Stephen. They took us up the mountain with our 6 porters and cook Joseph. The food was awesome, home cooked and always wholesome ingredients, with many tastes of African home cooking. We had snacks and popcorn on the mountains for breaks. We were never hungry or thirsty the whole time. The service exceeded our expectations.

Chuwa was a master leader on the mountain and he and his team got myself and my father to the summit. Coming down the mountain was a challenge for my father, and Chuwa’s team was amazing at helping him, beyond words and gratitude.

My father had some medical complications after the climb and Edwin and Frank were there to help with grace and expertise in Moshi and Arusha.

We managed a safari for one day and our guide was Hafidh was a professional at his task and answered all of our questions about Africa, the culture, the people, the animals, the trees and flowers, we tried to stump him, but couldn’t.

I can’t recommend Edwin and his Taste of Kilimanjaro tour company enough or even thank them enough to get us through our trip safely with grace and kindness.

If you’re thinking about this tour company you won’t be disappointed, they handled everything, the good and the bad.

This will always be a lifetime achievement for myself and my 79 year old father.

Thank you again,
Edwin, Frank, Chuwa and Hafidh!

It was a great trip! The experience of the whole process was better than expected. We had zero contact with animals during the trip. As it takes a long time to take pictures, you'd better prepare a portable battery. Comparison of the sun at noon, so to do a good sunscreen, wear sunglasses, it is best to bring a telescope, so that our field of vision. Become clearer and see more carefully.

5/5

For the first time in my life, I climbed to an altitude of 5895 meters and touched Uhuru Peak in Kilimanjaro - thanks to Safari360. Their team is highly experienced and professional. Daily health check-ups, proper food, and safe trails - everything has been ensured by them. At the end of the trek, they also sent me to Serengeti Safari - like two dreams in one trip!

The Tour was amazing! Our guide was always on time and ready for a full day adventure. From Gorilla Trekking to our Safaris we had an outstanding experience with the opportunity to see so many of Africas wildlife. It truly left me speechless at times. Watching my Daughter and son for fill their lifetime dream to see Gorillas in the wild filled my heart with joy. We stayed at a wide range of hotels with The one and Only being my favorite. I truely recommend Offtrek adventures for your next trip.

Incredible customer service, amazing, knowledgeable, honest, flexible, patient
5/5

The service from Julius was AMAZING. We contacted him in Jan 2025 from the UK and asked him to create a bespoke tour package for us. Nothing was too much trouble. After lots of changes in requests from me and options considered we booked 5 days and 4 nights fly safari. Flight from Diani to Tsavo East staying at Salt Lick 1 night. Then flight to Maasai Mara staying at Fig Tree for 2 nights. Then flying to Amboseli staying at Ol Tukai 1 night. Then Flight back to Diani. Julius always offered options at different price points from budget to 5 star with no pressure on which options we chose. Original package was to drive but we wanted more hours in each reserve so upgraded to flights, in reserve hotel private jeep to give flexibility . Julius also arranged a hot air balloon in Mara, private driver and jeep in each location. We had an absolutely incredible experience. All hotels were beautiful with such fabulous staff, service and food. The drivers were so knowledgeable and incredible drivers... always got us into the BEST positions to see the wildlife fully. We saw lioness, lions, a pride of lions, a lioness kill a zebra, warthog, hippos, Zebra, giraffe, buffalo, elephants, gazelle and so much more. Our drivers were Danson, Erick and James... they really couldn't do enough for us. When at Fig Tree the night security also took us on patrol along the river outside our rooms and we saw hippos, crocodile , elephants and buffalo. The hot air balloon was an incredible experience in Mara and we were so lucky to see cheetah, leopard, a lioness, herds of zebra and buffalo, and more. They say what you see on safari is based on luck which is partially true.... but it also based on the talent of the drivers you get... and we got the best. And none of this could have been possible without Julius support, knowledge, patience and honest advice throughout. He also checked in with us throughout the 5 days to make sure we were happy and if there was anything we needed help with. If you are thinking of going on a safari then he is the best to book with. We have already recommended him to family and friends.

A genuine, accommodating, kind and experienced operator you can’t help but admire!
5/5

We just got back from an unforgettable 9-day trip through Rwanda with Offtrek Safaris and can’t recommend them highly enough. I went with my wife, brother-in-law, and father-in-law, and everything from start to finish was incredible.

We trekked with mountain gorillas and chimpanzees, went on safari (and saw the Big 5 plus tons of other amazing animals), stayed in beautiful hotels, and had some of the best food we’ve ever had while traveling.

The real standout though was our guide, Eric. He was absolutely phenomenal—super knowledgeable about both the wildlife and the history of Rwanda, and he brought the entire experience to life in a way that made it feel really special. It honestly wouldn’t have been the same without him.

Offtrek was also much more affordable than many of the other companies we looked into, but still felt totally high-end and personal. Everything was well-organized, thoughtful, and smooth from beginning to end.

If you’re thinking about visiting Rwanda, book with Offtrek—you won’t regret it.

WOW—truly the trip of a lifetime!
I’ve traveled extensively, but this was by far the most thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed journey I’ve ever taken—thanks to Emmy and our incredible guide, Eric.

From the very beginning, Emmy made the planning process seamless. He listened to what we wanted, worked within our budget, and somehow crafted a trip that was even more special than we imagined. He added thoughtful extras that made a lasting impact—including a visit to the Genocide Memorial, which gave us such meaningful insight into Rwanda’s history and culture. Before the trip, he even hopped on a call with me to go over packing and details, and he continued checking in to ensure everything went smoothly.

When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and guided straight through customs to meet Eric. Our luggage was delayed, and Eric immediately took us to pick up essentials. Emmy, meanwhile, personally followed up with the airport daily and hand-delivered our bags once they arrived. He even drove three hours just to join us for dinner one night!

Both Emmy and Eric were incredibly personable and easy to connect with. They made my brother’s birthday extra special by coordinating surprises at the hotels, and every property we stayed at felt unique and luxurious—with phenomenal food throughout.

As for Eric—what a gem. I’m a veterinarian who has spent months living in South Africa, and I was blown away by how much I learned from him. His depth of knowledge about the animals and Rwandan culture was astounding. He’s an exceptional safari guide—thanks to him, we saw the Big Five and so much more—and he’s also a brilliant photographer who helped me sharpen my own photography skills along the way.

I wouldn’t change a single thing about this trip. We’re already planning our next adventure (Tanzania!) with this amazing team. I can’t recommend them highly enough!
