A Life Time Changing Experience
Me and my wife were planning a honeymoon trip to east Africa, and we search all the choices we have across safaribookings.com, we compare schedules, budget, accommodation and vehicle through the website. Finally, Spirit of Kenya provide the most suitable quotation for us. We spend 1 day in Nairobi and 8 days for safari. Me and my wife both agree that Spirit of Kenya is very professional and passionate on bring the beauty of Kenya to foreign visitors. We saw dozens of lions and cheetah during our 8 days trip, needless to say more zebras, gazelles, antelope, elephants and giraffes on the road. The best memory is that tour guide Bonface take us to chase "black rhinos" in Naivasha National Reserve, I can still vividly recall the nervous and intense scene to discover this beautiful creature hiding themselves in bushes while crossing the hill.
Bonface is definitely the most recommended tour guide you should appoint, but I believe all the tour guide should be as good as him in Spirit of Kenya.
Anyway, we have such a great time in Kenya with Spirit of Kenya's help. We really appreciate their kind accompany and the skill to find wild animal in national reserve.

Exceptional
Had once in a lifetime experience, seeing the African culture, animals and landscape. Our guide Damien was AMAZING, he made sure we saw the big five and everything else we wanted to see. He made sure the car was clean and ready each day. His knowledge and experience made the experience unique and exceptional. The accomodation we stayed at each night were beautiful, clean and so hospitable. It was beyond what we expected and the overall service was exceptional.

I booked a 5-night/6-day Safari covering Maasai Mara / Nakuru / Amboseli with Tall Masai. The communication via What‘s App was great, always willing to answer questions and help. Although the rest of the payment (minus 200€ early down payment) was preferred in cash, they were very flexible regarding my wishes to transfer the money electronically instead!
The Safari itself was amazing. Our driver‘s Jackson and Jeff were highly skilled and experienced. Jackson even showed us the Big 5 in one day in Maasai Mara! Jeff was highly knowledgeable about all animal species there including birds and was a great guide. I would recommend Tall Masai safaris and if you book as for either Jackson or Jeff!!

The most amazing, unforgettable safari with the best guide Amos
We had the most incredible 8 days on safari and it was an experience we will truly never forget.
First, a huge thank you to Rita, who helped organise everything so seamlessly. From the very beginning she was helpful, patient, and made the whole process smooth and easy. We asked for lodges where we could enjoy views of wildlife right from where we stayed, and she absolutely delivered. Even when we changed our minds a few times (including last minute). She remained so accommodating and always provided great customer service. Most importantly, she paired us with the most amazing safari guide who was the true highlight of our trip.
That brings me to Amos, our safari guide, who we cannot thank enough. From the very first day we felt comfortable with him, like we could ask or talk about absolutely anything. He was not only a safe and reliable driver, but he also went above and beyond to personalise our trip. He even picked up on our love for coffee and would stop at the best little coffee spots on our long drives!
Spending a whole week together could have felt long, but instead the days flew by because of the endless laughter, stories, and conversations we shared. Amos taught us so much about Kenyan culture, history, and wildlife, turning every drive into something special. His knowledge and experience as a guide really shone through and he always seemed to know where to be and what to look for, making sure we never missed out on incredible sightings. One unforgettable moment was when he led us to two male lions in the Masai Mara, and we had them all to ourselves for the first 15 minutes before any other vehicles arrived. Experiences like that were thanks to his skill, patience, and dedication.
By the end of the week, it honestly felt like we had gained a lifelong friend. I know for certain I will never have a better guide than Amos, and I’m already dreaming of planning my next trip with him. He truly made our safari an unforgettable adventure filled with memories we’ll treasure forever.
Over the week, we explored Masai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, and Tsavo East. Each destination offering its own magic. From the food to the accommodation, everything exceeded our expectations and ran so smoothly thanks to Rita’s planning and Amos’ care.
To say this trip was special is an understatement it was the perfect mix of adventure and comfort. Thank you, Rita and Amos, for making this safari the trip of a lifetime.

We really enjoyed our safari - our safari guide, Martin, was very knowledgeable and ensured we got amazing views of all the wildlife. Lizzy was also prompt at responding to us and even helped us organise our plans in Nairobi after we finished the safari. Just to note that all the accomodation during the safari was different from what was advertised online (although the standard of accomodation seemed similar). This didn't bother us but I can imagine it would be upsetting if you had booked the trip based on this information.

Company truly cares about providing the best possible experience--fantastic in my opinion.
We booked a 12 day safari mainly in the countries of Zimbabwe and Botswana. Archie, the operational manager put together an outstanding adventure for us. Our guide Norman was equally outstanding and stayed with us for the entire, which allowed him to share his experiences along with what we were going to see. gave us options such as walking the lion & cheetahs (each pair) and safari to view rhinos--never thought we would ever do that. His choices of places to eat, all inclusive except alcohol, were excellent and we did not worry about what we could or could not eat. Highlights of the trip included the safaris, viewing a lion pack on he hunt, lion pack under the shade, two lions finishing off a meal, elephants (stayed at a lodge where the elephants travel between the units), water buffaloes, birds, and my list would just go on. Going is September, which is the dry season is the way to go as the animals are around the water holes and there is no vegetation to obstruct our view. Africa Uncovered is an outstanding safari company and I would highly recommend them. My last comment is value for money paid: truly outstanding and a real plus if choosing a company.
