Fantastic and very professional!
5/5

We had a fantastic experience with Great Escape trails and we would definitely recommend them. They were super organised and professional and they helped us by giving us advice for all our trip and not only for the safari. We went on a 4 day safari and our guide Noel made everything he could to keep us happy and see as many animals as possible (imagine we saw 32 lions in 4 days). We also saw the big 5 and animals we didn’t even expect we would see, we visited a school in a village and had the chance to share some gifts and also a Masai village where we found out their history and culture. Every day was special and the memories will stay with us for a lifetime. Thank you for everything Thom and Noel!

Amazing experience with personalized service
5/5

We started looking for a private safari of about 10 days in Tanzania and 4 to 5 days relaxing in Zanzibar. As this was not our first safari, we contacted several tour operators (TO) with a sample itinerary we found on the internet.

While most of the TO were only interested in our budget or responded with a price for the exact sample itinerary, Jerry Tanzania Tours was the only one who requested to talk to us in person to suggest changes and discuss options.
Over a time period of about 2 weeks we talked multiple times via WhatsApp to Jeremiah Kimambo of Jerry Tanzania Tours and developed an itinerary for our dream safari. Only then we discussed price. Even after we agreed on a price we made additional changes without problems.

The first question Shirima, our guide asked us, at what time we wanted to be back at the lodge, at 4 PM to take advantage of happy hour or stretch the game drives as long as possible, we answered, we are here for the nature not for the swimming pool. This set the tone for the best safari we could have dreamed off, including amazing viewing of the big migration of the wildebeest.

Shirima turned out to be a fantastic safari guide, he was able to explain particularities of all the birds and animals we encountered, obviously this included the big five, and answered all our questions with a smile.

Jeremiah of Jerry Tanzania Tours organized a flawless safari vacation. The dedication and knowledge of Shirima our guide, made this an unforgettable experience.

We do recommend a few days of relaxation after a hectic safari, Zanzibar is fantastic.

If we come back to Tanzania we definitely will again use the services of Jerry Tanzania Tours, and we will insist to have Shirima as our guide.

Fantastic experience
5/5

I was so pleased with all aspects of my trip. Ephraim was so knowledgeable of the animals we saw. I am a nervous traveller , but he made me feel so at ease I soon forgot my fears. He is a safe driver and has a great sense of humour. I will definitely be going back soon. I was very pleased with the cost of this trip. Well worth every penny.

If you are looking for that personal touch in your guide service, Wild Excursions Uganda is the answer. From the time you arrive to the airport until your journey is over, they will assure your safety and open the door for you to see all the beauty that Africa has to offer. The guides are friendly and very knowledgeable. They made sure every member of our group was taken care of and comfortable. We have used Wild Excursions Uganda for several trips and have always been happy with their service.

Be sure and ask about their bush breakfast while on safari-you will love it.

Uganda was my 7th African country. It is the best place to see primates in their natural habitat. The parks are well taken care of and offer excellent opportunities to see abundant wildlife. I used Home to Africa and my guide and driver Karim spoke excellent English and had a vast amount of knowledge. He was also curious and looked up any questions I had.
In Kibale National Park we did Chimpanzee tracking. Making eye contact with a group of my closest relatives and watching them groom, eat and play together was very moving.
In Bwindi National Park we did Gorilla trekking and my group was fortunate to find our family in 30 minutes. They moved in and out of the bushes and it was breath taking so see them just appear near you.
In Queen Elizabeth National Park I saw many Savannah animals. Abundant elephants, zebra and different antelopes, even a leopard sleeping in a tree. A highlight was the boat ride down the canal joining the lakes. Excellent for north birding and watching elephant life on the shore.
The view from the lodge in Lake Mauro National Park was stunning. You just want to chill on your verandah with some red wine and just stare. It was a good stopping point between Bwindi and Entebbe and had a surprising amount of wildlife including some I had not yet seen. Zebra heaven.
All the budget level lodges were different but had the basics, a bathroom with hot water in your tent or cabin, comfortable beds and a bar with drinks to chill and reflect on the day you just experienced. Just saying this makes me realize how much I miss it.
Not a drop of rain in February too. Good time to go!

Amazing Safari
5/5

Best Safari I've been on. Our guide Jeff did an amazing job of driving, both getting to the park and driving thru the park. He was able to find all Big 5 as well as a cheetah, hundreds of giraffes, zebras, hippos, wildebeest and all kinds of antelopes, all in the same day! The accommodations were above average with a good hot water shower.

I also enjoyed my visit to an authentic Maasai village on the 3rd day. I’d recommend Jocky Tours to anyone interested to have a great Safari experience at Maasai Mara.

Very accommodating due COvid delay.
5/5

There were 8 of us touring and we rotated our time between Wilson’s and Hussain’s vehicles. Both were so incredibly knowledgeable of their country and the animals and birds. No question could they not answer.
They were both very professional and a delight to be with. They became part of our group!
Thank you for an amazing Safari
