Simply the best 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We had a 4 day safari trip with Jocky Tours & Safaris. Our driver/guide was Richard (Richie). Richie was very punctual, professional and courteous at all times. He went above and beyond to ensure that our trip was one to remember. Thanks to Richie's efforts, we got to see every animal on the Big 5 list and then some. He got us into prime position to get superb videos and photos. Richie's knowledge of the flora, fauna and wildlife was incredible. We never felt rushed or short changed on any aspect of the trip. He answered all our questions and he also somehow made the whole experience fun and unforgettable. All credit to him for being an utter gentleman with 6 Irish women in his jeep. He quickly adapted to our Irish banter and was well able to keep up with our sense of humour. I would have no hesitation in booking another safari through Jocky Tours and would insist on having Richie as our driver/guide. Richie deserves a 5 star rating. Such was our experience that we were all very sad to return back from the Masai Mara to our hotel in Nairobi. Thank you so much Richie for giving us an unforgettable experience and one we won't forget in a hurry. Don't hesitate to book your safari with Jocky T&S and insist on Richie being your driver/guide.

Lion King Adventures went above and beyond
We were really impressed with Lion King Adventures for our Tanzania safari. When we talked with Pendo on the phone ahead of time it was clear that Lion King was really organized and well prepared.
Our guide, Joseph, was amazing. He was great at spotting the animals, and always seemed to know just where to drive to be best positioned to see them up close. We had so many questions about the animal behavior and he always knew the answers. He was really friendly and chill. He also helped us learn a lot about Tanzanian culture.
Multiple times Lion King adventures went above and beyond to make our safari experience smooth and extraordinary. I can't even name them all - but for example my dad left his passport in the airport transfer vehicle when he arrived into the first hotel around midnight. We called Lion King and by 8am the next morning his passport was waiting for him when we met our guide. One other great thing about our experience was that there was no limit on the miles you can drive. One day in the Serengeti we went on an 11-hour game drive! We ate breakfast while watching lions and lunch while watching a cheetah. One of the best days of my life.
The accommodations were all fantastic. What counts as "mid-range" in Tanzania was actually really luxurious. The hotel workers and the Masai we met were so welcoming. The food was really good.
We went to Tarangire - a great intro park with a unique landscape full of baobabs. Central Serengeti - the Africa I've always dreamed of with truly phenomenal wildlife. Ndutu - an amazing area in the South Serengeti and where the Great Migration was in February. Ngorongoro Crater - you've got to see it to believe it. And Lake Manyara - a surprise favorite with a beautiful forest, elephants and baboons galore, and we went on an excellent walking safari with a park ranger where we got lucky and saw some elephants drinking at the river.
We were truly blown away by how many animals we saw, the diversity of animals, and how up close we could get to them. Tanzania is a paradise on earth. I highly recommend Lion King Adventures if you're going.

amazing
Our guide, Samwel, was extremely experienced, and with a bit of luck, we managed to spot the Big Five and the Ugly Five. We also saw the stunning flamingos, a lion hunt in action, and the entire process of an elephant relieving itself... The joy of a Safari is that you never know what surprise awaits you next.
Of course, sitting in a vehicle for nearly ten hours a day under the scorching sun can be tough, so the professionalism and personality of the guide are crucial! Samwel was very emotionally stable. He would patiently ask for our thoughts and plans and then use his experience and expertise to help us achieve them. Along the way, he also shared various historical, cultural, and animal-related knowledge, making every day very fulfilling.
We also have to praise the accommodation and dining arranged by Meru Slopes. It's hard to imagine that in a nature reserve with such a weak infrastructure, we could have such a great living and dining experience.
Anataya Camp and Lion Paw were truly amazing! The dinner at Sero Camp was also incredibly satisfying for our Chinese taste buds.

Unforgettable!!! 10/10 with an amazing guide.
A once in a lifetime experience!! From start to finish our safari was exceptional. Our driver Richard (Richie) was outstanding his knowledge & gift to get us up close & personal with the animals was unreal not to mention just being a gent & genuine lovely guy we had such a laugh with him everyday. There was no animal on our list we didn't get to see including the Big 5 the Ugly 5 & the Special 5. Being a budget safari the camp was overall surprisingly good it was clean & food was good. Helen the head lady of the camp could not do enough for us. Overall could not recommend Jocky Tours enough 10/10.

Highly recommended
I had an absolutely perfect Safari with my friends on the Meru Slopes. Special praise must go to our guide and driver, Samwel. He was incredibly professional, always arriving early with a big smile on his face to greet us. He helped us with our luggage and prepared lunch boxes. During the Safari, he had an extremely sharp eye, leading us to encounter many unique African animals. Not to mention that on the first day, he guided us to see a leopard! The Safari was actually quite tiring, but Samwel was always smiling, which was very comforting. Additionally, I must commend the excellent Sales staff member, Almachius, for choosing the Meru Slopes. He patiently revised our plans according to our needs and always responded to our messages promptly, which made us feel very reassured. I will definitely recommend this experience to my family and friends!

Wow, wow, wow! You've found your next adventure!
I cannot be more grateful to have booked with Big Apes, and even more grateful that my lucky stars gave me Brian as my guide! I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled to over 90 countries as a solo female traveler, but this might have been my best trip ever! Why? Rwanda and Uganda are incredibly beautiful countries, full of incredible people, landscapes and nature. From the start of my 4-Day Mountain Gorillas & Golden Monkeys Safari, I knew I was on an amazing adventure in very capable hands. The itneary was perfect, not too much, but always moving and optimising every chance I had to experince something new. I was able to see so much, and at all times felt very supported! The accommodation was great, transport comfortable and boarder passing smooth. But for me the most important special ingredient was my guide, Brian. He was the ultimate professional, always trying to make my experience memorable, giving me additional information and helping me out. By the end it was like I’d just been on a road trip with a friend. The world would be a better place if there were more Brians in it 😊 Don’t hesitate to book, you’ve found you’re next adventure!

Excellent
I booked the tour about seven hours before it started, but the tour operator, Winnie, responded quickly and professionally. Thanks to her prompt and courteous service, I felt at ease joining the tour. She also answered my questions in detail, which was very helpful. However, I would have appreciated more information about the exact tour schedule in advance.
My safari guide was Frank, and he was amazing. He was very dedicated to finding animals and incredibly knowledgeable. Whenever I asked him a question, he shared interesting facts that made the experience even more enjoyable. Frank spoke slowly and used simple words, so even though my English is not very good, I could understand him easily.
Since I joined the tour alone, he was also very considerate and made sure I was having a good time.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I truly enjoyed it.
