About: Tanzania
One of the most amazing experiences in my life, wildlife was incredible!
Overall rating
5/5

I have dreamed of going to the Serengeti since I was 5 years old (I turned 70 the week before the safari). Incredibly, the whole experience was better then I expected or even hoped. We saw more than 50 lions, hundreds of elephants of all ages, from babies 3 or 4 months old to the full grown matriarchs of the herd, a leopard, multiple cheetahs and the wildebeest migration, with tens of thousands of wildebeest all around us. I am a birder so was also thrilled to see ostrich and several secretary birds as well as an array of hawks, rollers bee eaters and other colorful birds.
In Ngorongoro Crater we also saw 3 rhinos, completing the "big 5" as well as numerous other birds and mammals.

I should also give a shout out to Focus in Africa, the tour operator. We had an excellent guide who knew birds as well as the mammals, an incredible cook and comfortable tents and guest houses. Everything was very well organized and ran smoothly, communication was good and everyone on the tour professed to enjoy it immensely.

Uganda is a large poor country, The national parts have lots and lots of animals. Customer service, food, hotels, roads, are all poor. Ugandan people are very friendly.

Amazing experience with an amazing team
5/5

Travelling with Moafrika opened my eyes to the wonders of South Africa. The guides that we had on the trip were a good mix of knowledge and enthusiasm. you can really feel the passion of the staff, which rubbed off to the rest of my group. The tracking abilities and the communication of the guides let us see all of the Big 5 in Kruger, and even some really cute occurrences that's supposed to be rare! Will be back again for more trips :)

Well organised and able to handle unexpected situations well.
5/5

The tour was very well thought and planned out. Communication was smooth and replies were prompt and clear. The guides for the jeeps were friendly, entertaining, and very knowledgable. We saw many animals, including the big 5! Lunch options were good during the game drive days, and the jeeps were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Incredible, affordable, friendly
5/5

I would definitely recommend booking with Africa Uncovered Safaris. Their communication during the booking process was excellent and very helpful and friendly. They offer affordable tours with quality, comfortable accommodation and cater for a variety of dietary requirements.
Their destinations have a great variety of activities to experience across several locations. Local tour operators are very knowledgeable.

The small group size meant a personalised experience with Muza being a friendly and organised guide who was always on time and reliable. Would definitely use again.

Professional Arrangements and Drivers
5/5

I have safaris every year for 30 years and I think this company is the best.
The manager, Antony, is also a driver, so he is very knowledgeable about the newest information of national parks and animals. Usually managers are not familiar with wildlife as they work a desk job in Nairobi.
Drivers of Tazama Africa are sensitive to the animals' movements and try to anticipate them, so they can always park the cars in good positions. Very professional.

Bongani is an amazing tour operator
5/5

I visited South Africa as the guest of a professor who was leading a study abroad course. As part of the trip we spent several days in and around Kruger Park with Bongani as our guide and tour operator. It was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. Bongani is an incredible guide. He knows the park inside and out, knows the patterns of behavior of the wildlife, and is incredibly good at spotting animals that you would never notice on your own. He is also incredibly kind. On our trip he went out of his way to make the experience fun and memorable for everyone. You truly can't go wrong with Bongani as your guide.
