Day trip to Chobe National Park
Exploring the Chobe river was great and our captain was wonderful We saw lots of wild life. Lunch was excellent and also the safari drive was excellent.
Transportation (from the border to the Chobe National park) was just OK can be improved and probably would have been better to stop for cofee in a location where bathrooms were available.
Altogether great experience!

Wonderful
I have wanted to go Tanzania for a long time. I talked about it so much that my husband decided to take me for my 35th birthday. It was the best gift anyone has ever given me. We worked with a local travel company but were disappointed by their services. The packages they were offering were not appealing. I stumbled on the reviews of Regional Tours and Safaris while I was looking for another company. The reviews were so amazing that I told my husband that we should go with Regional Tours and Safaris. I communicated with Maturaf from the company. He was so friendly and replied promptly to all my emails. He worked very hard to organize a fun itinerary for us. We went with the 11 day private safari package to visit Arusha, north and south Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire.
The whole safari was incredible because of our guide, Hassan. He was very professional and very friendly. He was also patient with me, answering the many questions I had about Tanzania. From the answers he gave me, I could tell that he was a smart and knowledgeable man. He had the ability of taking us to the best spots from where we could see as many animals as possible. He was also very good at getting us the perfect angles for taking pictures. Hassan went to great lengths to ensure we had the experience of a lifetime.
All the people we worked with from Regional Tours and Safaris were wonderful. They were very kind to us and very welcoming. They were also very helpful and the trip would have been a total failure without their excellent service.
My husband and I are planning to take our family to Tanzania so that they too can have an enjoyable experience like we had with Regional Tours and Safaris.

Great tour guides
Great tour operators who care for the people on the tour and are very friendly. Very knowledgeable people who love their job and love teaching people about the wilderness. Would recommend

Truly all inclusive
Our experience was super positive, from the start the US based staff provided clear and to the point information and suggestions. once in Tanzania their local staff, was at all times very attentive and had everything organized to the last detail. We were with a corporate group of some 70 persons, and everything was taken care of. Hotels, room assignments, vehicles, excellent very knowledgeable drivers, special activities ( fully catered bush breakfasts, lunch, and dinner, hot air balloon trip, all transfers and so much more). Never was there a mishap, or a special need not addressed.
We have travelled very extensively over the years, and this is truly a 5- star organization. Will recommend to anybody.

We got cancelled a 21 day tour and already payed for everything!
Just received an email saying that our tour got cancelled and that we are supposed to get a refund in 120 working days, but I have a very bad feeling about this. Not contact information, no phone, nothing!

Genuine hospitality; Stress-free itinerary; Unbelievable closeness to nature; Bring your camera!
James (our driver) and Paul (our booking contact ) did a great job of communicating out what we should plan for and expect. We found everything that was outlined in our contract to be as promised -- we were transported from and to the airport upon arrival in a private car; we had a snafu that Paul went the extra mile to help us work through when we got in the first night; we had our own private Land Cruiser that took us out each day on Safari and our driver tailored our itinerary to fit us perfectly (we had two small kids in tow and they were plenty entertained with all we discovered, even when driving five, 9+ hour days in a row!!); our driver communicated with his contacts in the area to make sure we saw The Big 5 and SO MUCH more; each night's accommodations were booked for us and there were no surprises or delays; all meals were provided and served by delightful and welcoming cooks/staff, and full of delicious local and international options that worked for everyone; our flight to Zanzibar was all arranged for us upon booking; and when we arrived on the island we had another private car waiting for us that drove us around Zanzibar and delivered us to our two different resort hotels and back to the airport at the end of our trip, on time with no problems.
There was so so much for us to do. If there was one thing we needed to think of that the company could have done better, it would have been to provide a better boxed-lunch choice on the first day's travel--every other day beyond that we got to choose our own goodies from a buffet available at the resorts each morning. BUT please, to all who are reading this, know that if this is the ONLY thing we can complain of, Tanzania Roadside Expeditions really did do a remarkable, 5-star job. Congratulations to them for proving that a local's touch is the most genuinely welcoming way to be received in a country as beautiful and bountiful as Tanzania.
They have made some great partnerships and your group will feel blessed as well to book the same. Our highlight was the Maramboi Camp where a giraffe, a pair of zebras, and countless wildebeest walked right in front of us (<20ft away) on our dirt path that led to the swimming pool. We really stayed among nature every night and never once felt in danger as there was a local private guard with us at night and all the animals really communicate the distance they require if you pay attention--again, even with two small children! Also, if we can recommend, use the company's advised route from Tarangire to Serengeti and then Ngorongoro--we saw so many animals back to back in Tarangire we were "stuffed" and then it made the "hunt" we experienced in the wide plains of Serengeti and the deep crater of Ngoronogo that much more full of anticipation and exploration-fun.
700+ pictures later we have incredible stories and memories to share and this trip was the highlight of our travels thus far. Do yourself a favor and book a seamless, stress-free and adventure-FULL trip with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions. Your bucket list will thank you!

Not a single part of our experience with African Coast Travel & Tours could be improved.
I was very happy that Joseph booked us a one day safari from Victoria Falls that would usually be a two day excursion, but most impressed that it wasn't canceled when no other people booked, like a lot of other tours would. My wife and I ended up with a private tour! The tour guide was amazing the transfer driver from Vic Falls was amazing, we even stopped into Joseph's office the next day to say hi and he was amazing!
I fully endorse booking with African Coast travel & Tours!
