On the recommendation of a friend, we booked a private safari in Namibia with SWA Safaris. The advice given by the safari expert at SWA Safaris was great, the itinerary was worked out very professionally and our wishes were taken into account when planning the programme. After arriving in Windhoek, the tour guide (Lucia S.) welcomed us very nicely and looked after us very well during the whole trip. Lucia was very knowledgeable (country & people, wildlife, botany, politics) and gave us a very realistic picture of Namibia through her unobtrusive way of conveying information. She was always there when we had questions and took care of all the organisational things on the side. If we wanted to make another trip to Namibia, we would book again with SWA Safaris and would like to have Lucia as our tour guide again.

Mount Kilimanjaro via the Limosho ROute
What a team and what an amazing experience. We did not go on a safari but hiked up the Kilimanjaro on the Limosho route. The guides and staff were happy, helpful and encouraging us. Our group was small and we all made it to Uhuru peak. We couldn't have done this without our guides, bush mechanic. stomach engineer and carriers. Thank you all for the amazing experience.
The climb was not easy and the altitude complicates things but we made it and are very happy we decided for the trek.

A unique experience! I was picked up at Kilimanjaro Airport. Warmly welcomed by Sandra and Meik. Their two children were already in bed, so there was a surprise in the morning. In Arusha I stayed with the family for two more days and was quickly integrated into everyday life.
Then I went on the tour – 6 days with Innocent as tour driver and what couldn’t he tell me about the country and in particular about the animals and the protection of the parks. Thank you very much for that and also a big thank you to Meik and Sandra for the planning; and the hassle-free trip.
It blew my mind to see so many animals. I have my best experience on video – a hippo that jumps into the lake and feels super good.

We had a fantastic safari booked through Maggie. She helped me to customise the tour and the accommodation we wanted, she was very helpful throughout our stay.
we had comfortable land cruiser with a pop up roof that allowed us to watch the animal safely and freely. Our guide was very awesome, good at finding the wildlife
We enjoyed everything and our safari was more than what we had pictured thanks to Bison Safaris

Great way to see Masai Mara!
Had an absolutely fabulous time on this tour! Lenchada Camp was incredible to stay at, with cozy full-size beds and a full-scale bathroom inside the tent. Joshua was a knowledgeable and experienced driver and guide, who ensured that I saw all of the big 5 and so much more! The upgrade from the minivan to the Land Cruiser is definitely worth the $20 I paid--a much bigger vehicle and a better ride. Would recommend to all, including solo female travelers.

Exceptional Safari followed by a beach holiday on Mafia Island
We were able to experience wonderful Safari days in Arusha ,Tarangire,Ngorongoro and Serengeti in the footsteps of Bernhard and Michael Schimek-a child‘s dream came true.We already planned these days in advance with Michael ans Sandra-they put everything together according to our wishes and gave us valuable trips and ideas,so that we could hardly wait until the trip.
Now after the trip,our expectations were exceeded.We were very impressed by the hike Arusha Nationalpark- past a herd of buffalo ,giraffes and pumbas,all the way to a waterfall which gave us a good chance to cool off.The other safari days were spend in the safari jeep.Our guide Innocent accompanied us for days and fulfilled all of our wishes.It was possible to spot all the Big Five.All the accommodations booked by Tanzania Safari Bug left nothing to be desired-we were always warmly welcomed with incredible food.
It is very important to emphasize that individual travel is important to us,the daily routine was scheduled according to our wishes,so that we could also enjoy some time in the accommodation.After the safari we went to Mafia Island where a little paradise awaited us.The best experience was diving with a whale shark-unforgettable!

Hoppy has a fantastic eye for finding wildlife and was great fun to travel with!
Wildlife Safaris is amazing. They are wonderfully responsive, incredibly knowledgeable, and highly skilled at catering to families with specialized needs (we have a kid with severe food allergies). We traveled with 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 17, 11, and 9) — our kids LOVED the tour, the accommodations, the food, and most of all our tour guide, Hoppy (as did we). Strongly recommend. This company is simply fantastic! And for all of you busy moms out there who may be planning this yourself — this company gets it! They follow up and help you get it right when time is really tight. Cannot recommend this company enough!!

Best tour (and guide) ever !!
I did the tour for 2 nights(3 days) and it was definitely worth the money and I had such a good time. Our driver and guide James was absolutely the best!! Thank you James for making the trip even better. I had the luck of sharing the safari van with nice fellow travellers and we all connected so well and overall had awesome time together.
If you’re looking for a safari experience that you won’t forget, I can’t recommend Axis enough (and ask for James !!).
