Excellent, efficient, fast ,friendly , a lovely and frienly person with a good feeling of what her
How lucky we were to get Adelle Bell as our tour operator. We told her what we were looking for and she put together an amazing Kruger Safari for us. It was well organized and we had no problem with any arrangements , transfers, etc. All the lodges she chose for us, were excellent. She really was excellent in answering questions, even changing travel arrangements when we needed to fly from Nelspruit to Cape Town and then back to Jhb. She was excellent! Thank you Adelle for making our trip so memorable !!

The best Safari tour company in Tanzania !
I went to a private safari tour for 6 days / 5 nights with African Big Cats Safaris in August 2021 and all I can say is that everything was perfectly planned and done from the first email they sent me to the last minute of the last day.
Before choosing African Big Cats, I have sent emails to a dozen companies explaining my specific needs in terms of itinerary and accommodations for the trip and African Big Cats were not only one of the fastest to reply but more importantly the one whom really customized their response in order to fit my needs.
They provided us with an amazing, nice and very experienced guide who was able to spot all the animals on the blink of an eye while educating us with a perfect english about the savanna environment and the trip was perfectly timed and executed without any single mistake.
I would recommend this company to anyone looking for the best and more unique safari experience and I would also recommend you to ask for Ndeni as your guide as he is as charming and nice as efficient to spot the animals !!

He's a crook
Don't use them! Michael and Nelson/this company ran off with/stole our trip money for Tanzania safaris and Uganda accommodations - we saved for years for this great adventure and are now, headed home without the experience and without our money!

Magical!
The Suricata safaris provide us with airport transfer, a hotel before and after safari and amazing safari experience!
Everything was included in the price we payed for 3 day safari exeperience!
First i would like to say that we had amazing driver Floridi, who show us everything we can see in safari…some action, leopards, cheetah etc. Of course i cannot forgot our amazing chef Chazz!! He provide us with amazing food!! We really have a 5* hotel buffet menu!!
I didin't slept in a tent for 15 years…but now after the safari i dont regret it. Going to the toilet in the middle of the night and saying HI to the zebras, buffalos who are hanging around the tents. It was a really magical moment. Well, you can hear as well some hyenas, lions but your are safe, beacuse rangers are hanging around.
In general the Suricata safari experience was amazing ,10/10. For this money, is the best value in Arusha!! I recommend them to everybody who wants to have fun, enyoing in good food and having beauftiul views of the animals and landscape!
Good job Suricata!!!

The experience of a lifetime!
We can't even begin to explain how incredible this safari experience was! From the very start, communicating with Joe from Canada to organize our safari was a breeze. He was very helpful in organizing our safari exactly as we wanted it and was able to make adjustments to t he itinerary as we requested.
Everything from the booking process, communication, accommodations, and safari itself were amazing. Collin was an amazing guide and was very knowledgeable. It felt as though our tour had started from the moment we were picked up from our hotel! Collin happily told us interesting facts about Kenya's history, pointing our important landmarks along our drive. He was honest, friendly and professional throughout.
Our actually safari was an experience we will never forget. We were able to spot all of the big 5 all while feeling safe and respecting the natural habitat of the animals in the wild.
Thank you so much for the trip of a lifetime. If there is one thing we would change, it would be to make our safari even longer the next time we visit!

Unique Experience
My English is not so good but I try to write this review as good as possible. We are a family from Germany with two children at the age of 7 and 15 years. We booked an eight day safari with Northern Circuit Adventure including the northern national parks (Arusha, Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro). We found that company because of a positive review in a travel Guide. Furthermore we wanted to book a smaller local company because we expected that they would take more care of our individual desires. To keep in contact with Michael the owner of the company was very easy. He made us a very good offer. He offers us also to postpone the journey in the case we would not travel due to Corona.
The company picked us up from the Kilimanjaro Airport and brought us to our hostel. The day after we went to Michaels office to talk about some details of our safari. And at the following day Livingston our driver and guide picked us up with a well maintained off-road vehicle. Eventually a unique safari experience started because
-Livingston was a very good, experienced and prudent driver. At no time we had any fear that an accident could happen. Even facing very bad roads we had always arrived our sites in a good and healthy condition.
-Livingston has actually very good eyes. He even discovered animals with his bare eyes which we only saw with binoculars. So we were able to to see rare animals like the tree climbing lions at Lake Manyara, leopards at Tarangire or rhinos in the Serengeti.
-I noticed that Livingston knows the wild animals very well and he loves them. At no time he was chasing the animals for a short photo contrary to many drivers we saw during the journey. He even asked us for patience when he stayed longer at a certain place and often it was worthwhile. So we saw cheetahs and lions chasing wildebeest and zebras or we were in the middle of the herd of elephants.
-Livingston has very good nerves. Everyone travelling with children knows that they easily get tired and annoying but Livingston has always managed to keep them happy and interested.
If possible I recommend you to choose Northern Circuit Adventure. Everything was organised and carried out in the way we agreed on beforehand. The relationship between the driver, the company owner and us was up from the beginning very heartful and Michael even give us a bottle of red wine for a romantic evening at the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Since in particular the small Tanzanian local companies are suffering from the Corona-Crisis and getting no governmental support at all I advise you to choose that company. You will not regret that!!!

Outstanding
Absolutely love this tour operator. Chris has a detailed knowledge of African Safari destinations. He also reassured us that we could travel and enjoy during COVID. He was right, we had an amazing time! Prior to travelling, Chris fine tuned our itinerary to ensure we could get all the requisite testing done in a way that didn't interfere with our enjoyment of the trip. A lot has to do with the really wonderful hotels he booked along the way. If you are wondering whether you can enjoy yourself during COVID, it definitely is possible and worth it. It was actually nice having the crowds cut down a bit. We felt safe the entire trip. The local guides the team booked were top notch and very experienced. I think having experienced guides is one of the most important parts of a successful African Safari vacation. Why? Because they know the routes, they have relationships with other guides to ensure you see the Big 5 and many other animals. Chris can also book trips to Uganda for the Gorilla trek, highly recommended, perhaps the highlight of our trip. I won't hesitate to book with Chris and his team again for our next adventure to Africa.

Our 7-Day Southern Savannah Safari with Mufasa Tours & Travel absolutely exceeded our expectations!
My husband and I flew to Nairobi and embarked on a 7-day Southern Savannah Safari with Mufasa Tours and Travels. We had four stops planned over 7 days- Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara.
As for our safari, it was MAGNIFICENT! Kevin and I both agree that it far exceeded our expectations. We travel a lot and have visited many places around the world. We had a feeling the safari would be a terrific experience, but it was far more than that. It was truly one of the most fun adventures we have ever taken and there's no doubt Mufasa is to thank for that. I seriously cannot thank Joseph and his staff enough.
Charles, our private guide for the entire 7-day expedition, was TERRIFIC! We really enjoyed the game drives and his expertise. By the way, I have to brag on Charles too. There were a couple of times that it was apparent that other safari drivers were breaking rules, etc. Charles was always respectful of the animals, the reserves, other tourists and us. I can't brag on him enough. We really enjoyed his company. We routinely asked him to join us for dinner at our camps. He was fantastic and it was a pleasure getting to know him. And, I have to add that I personally enjoyed getting to tour the southwestern part of Kenya. It was fascinating to drive through the country and Charles' perspective added to those trips. I learned an incredible deal from him about the land, its people and its traditions.
As for the camps- they were wonderful. Both Zebra Plains properties were great. We stayed at Zebra Plains properties at Amboseli and the Mara. The service was exceptional and the accommodations were so unique, fun and comfortable. Zebra Plains Mara Camp was my favorite stay of the trip. Kevin, for overall experience, feels the same way.
We also really enjoyed the lodge at Lake Nakuru. That was unexpectedly luxurious and the views were just stunning. Pro tip- if you go, take a bathing suit. YES! They have a pool and the views from it are breathtaking.
The only camp we didn't really enjoy was Crescent Camp at Lake Naivasha. I'm not sure what it was, but the staff there wasn't as welcoming as the other properties. Honestly, at times at Crescent Camp, I felt like we weren't really welcome there. And there is a really noisy public space adjacent to the camp. By the way, this has nothing to do with Mufasa. I doubt they anticipated we would have that experience there.
That said, we really enjoyed our boat ride at Lake Naivasha and walking among giraffes, zebras and gazelles was a truly unique experience.
As far the services from Mufasa, there aren't enough words to express just how gracious we are. Truly. We hoped this would be a trip of a lifetime and it was. I routinely journal all our vacations and share endless photos on social media. I am a media personality in my hometown and many people followed our journey online. I can't tell you how many people have asked me to help them book their trip to Africa too. Obviously, when someone decides they're ready to visit, I will send them to Mufasa- no question about it. Mufasa immersed us in Kenya and I left the trip a different human being.
One suggestion that I have (and I understand that customs vary from country to country) is this- Americans are accustomed to tipping. And we tip for a wide variety of services (porters, waiters, stewards, etc). I did some advance research about tipping and how it worked in Kenya. One source indicated there may a general "tip box" at the lodges. The only one that had that was the Lake Nakuru Lodge. Kevin and I used that box, but also tipped people individually there. In fact, Kevin and I basically tipped anyone who handled luggage for us, served us, cleaned our rooms, etc. We did this at all our camps. That's what we're used to and we enjoy doing that. But I never knew if there were other folks we needed to tip and I was never sure that I was sharing the love with everyone I needed to. We would have gladly done so if the opportunity presented itself. Another pro tip- TIP! Nearly everyone we encountered made sure our visit was the absolute best it could be. Tipping was a small, but important way to share our appreciation.
All in all, we will NEVER forget our Mufasa adventure. It was memorable and magical.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for a fantastic, life-changing adventure.
