We booked Kenya and Tanzania for nine days .After the journey to MASAI MARA WE decided not to go to Tanzania.THE OPERATOR Mr Dennis gave us back the ballance between the two trips without argument.We spotted all big five .I will surely travel with BABOON AGAIN

If I could give Kerry at Pembury Tours ten stars, I would. I don't know if I will ever be able to fully express how grateful I am to Kerry and her team and just how much we appreciate everything they've done for us. Kerry has become more than a tour agent- I think she'll be a lifelong friend!
My husband and I had been planning our South African and Zambian safari for our honeymoon and we were originally supposed to travel June 2020. Our itinerary was Cape Town, South African Bush Safari (Umkumbe Safari Lodge), Chimp Eden (Nut Grove Manor) and Victoria Falls (Waterfront Lodge). Due to COVID, we had to postpone our trip and pushed it back to June 2022. Throughout the entire planning process, Kerry was not only extremely responsive and helpful, but she was truly on our side and had our best interests at heart. She took the time to answer all of my questions (even all of the long and rambling and repetitive ones that I would think of in the middle of the night and shoot her an email) and reassured me that our trip would still be just as great regardless of having to reschedule. She scoured every possible option in terms of what was available within our price points, what made the most sense logistically, what would give us the best experience, and made the entire planning process smooth, easy and feel like it was a collaboration between our vision and her planning. I pride myself on my traveling and itinerary making skills, but Kerry truly goes above and beyond and her attention to detail and thoroughness is on a completely different level. Especially with all of the new and ever-changing restrictions due to Covid, she laid out everything so nicely for us so that our travel was seamless. Even when we had a false-positive scare while we were in South Africa, Kerry was immediately on the phone figuring things out so we truly did not have to worry at all and just got to relax and enjoy ourselves.
One of the biggest hurdles we experienced throughout this entire process was because of United Airlines (the worst). We had initially rescheduled our trip from June 2020 to June 2021. When we arrived at the airport to check in to our flights because we weren't able to online due to having to show a negative PCR test, United apparently had outdated travel requirements for South Africa and would not let us board. We exhausted all of our options at the airport to try to get them to let us go since we KNEW Kerry had provided us with the CORRECT information. However, we left the airport frustrated and angry and in tears, feeling like our entire trip and years of planning had just gone down the drain. When I arrived home, I contacted Kerry immediately and she worked tirelessly the next few days with her director who then got the South African tourism departments involved and got everything rebooked for us to go a few weeks later. I have traveled extensively my entire life and never had I felt so defeated. But Kerry would not give up and I absolutely credit her for getting us through this. It is now three weeks after we've returned from our trip and Kerry is STILL working on getting us a refund from a flight that had to be rebooked because of this. She won't let these awful airlines get away with cheating their paying customers anymore than they are already able to. Her ability to respond quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively to issues that come up unexpectedly is unmatched.
In addition, all of the accommodations, tours, and excursions Kerry planned were also absolutely stunning. This was a trip of a lifetime that my husband and I will NEVER forget. We truly could not have imagined a more gorgeous first trip to Africa and we will absolutely be back and be using Pembury Tours for all of our African travel needs in the future.
I know I'm forgetting so much and will never be able to thank Kerry enough for everything she's done for us, but I hope this review helps encourage more travelers to use Pembury Tours and ask for the incredible Kerry! We love you! <3

Best, pocket friendly, good communication and they ensured I was satisfied.
Went on safari to maasai mara with my family for three days. We had the best tour guide driver Richard who never dissapoints. He made sure we saw all animals, always on time and made sure we're ok. We saw Mara river where hippos and crocodiles live. Will use them again.

Antoinette was a competent,experienced, and well informed tour operator
Antoinette was extremely prompt with responses to questions and most anxious to provide options for all of our requests for tours. She communicated using telephone, email, text and What’s App, whatever was required to assure we had answers as promptly as possible. When we had to make last minute changes to tours because of flight delays, she was immediately on top of it, allowing us to see everything we originally scheduled, despite loss of a full day in Cape Town.
The guide service provided was exceptional. We had private tours for all events, allowing flexibility in timing and stops when we wanted. The Cape of Good Hope tour, the penguin colonies and Table Top Mountain gondola ride were amazing because of the knowledge of our guide.
Our Botswana Safari and Victoria Falls Elephant camps were of excellent quality with diversity between Okavango Delta and Moremi camps that allowed extraordinary wildlife sightings. The elephant encounter at Victoria Falls and our helicopter and guided tour of the falls allowed us to really see its full magnitude.
There are so many wonderful things to say about Antoinette and Discover Africa.

Wonderful experience! with CKC safaris
Great safari experience with CKC, and John Muhoho the owner, he was supportive from the start as we had to reschedule the safari 3 times due to the various Covid lockdowns.
He helped with the rescheduling of the dates more than once due to Airline changes, met us at the destination and his guides, John and Peter, were very knowledgeable, took us to the National parks where we saw an abundance of Wildlife most of them were with their young babies.
The food was delicious, and made vegan upon our request
The Land cruisers were very clean, and maintained.

Joshua with Joash Africa Wilderness Insight was referred to us by friends who have been to Tanzania multiple times. We did our due diligence and received quotes from Joash and two additional safari outfits who were also referred to us. Joshua responded to our requests very promptly and with thorough questions to help guide us as we planned our safari adventures.
We had never been to Tanzania and he immediately gave us a sense we were in great hands. We spent two nights in Tarangire and four in the Serengeti. His quotes were thorough and straightforward. We worked together on budget and landed on magnificent safari tented lodging that was everything we hoped for. We ended with a fancier lodge in the western Serengeti and it was exciting to mix it up.
His knowledge of the terrain and the animals and their behaviors provided us with an extraordinary experience. We can say it was extraordinary as we "compared" our sightings and activities with friends and family who have been on safari before and they were all in awe of how many sightings we had throughout our travels. The only animal we did not see was the black rhino and that's because we didn't go to the Ngorogoro Crater. Otherwise, we saw them all and up close and enjoyed lingering, unforgettable moments with the elephants, lions and even cheetas and hippos and so much more. He also knew so much about the birds which were stunning and he knew where and when to go for sightings and migration activity. I felt like we were always more than a step ahead of the other travelers. We had so many sightings alone!
Also, the staff that we met upon our return to Arusha airport were nothing short of professional and kind. Everyone from the welcoming to our departure made us feel very safe and comfortable.
Joshua is kind, respectful, funny, curious, spontaneous, smart and a friendly, knowledgeable guide.
I will recommend Joash Africa Wilderness Insight to anyone and everyone I know that is going to Tanzania for a safari. They are the best!

Organized and reliable adventure of a lifetime
We traveled with Gilmag Safaris in Tanzania for our honeymoon. We had the best experience possible working with them! Mary was helpful and responsive right from the start. We did the bush to beach safari where we got to game drive around three different areas before ending with a few relaxing days in Zanzibar. All our accommodations were clean and comfortable with fantastic food. Our guide/driver spoke fluent English (and Italian). He was so knowledgeable about the wild life and local culture. He used his expertise about the area and the radio to make sure we got to see everything we wanted to see! Gilmag Safaris has excellent communication through email and WhatsApp and designs the best trips to the most incredible places.
