Natasha has been exceptionally patient, enthusiastic and resourceful in dealing with this safari booking. It took over 3 years and more than 150 email messages for this trip to materialize. The original booking was made prior to the pandemic with deposit held by Sun Safaris. Natasha was able to put together a wonderful 10 day luxurious African safari within a reasonable budget, beating the price of big bus premium tour.
We travelled as a multi-generational family of 6 , from age 9 years to age 79.
We had a superb time in South Africa and we made a lot of good and fond memories.
Overall , everything was top notch and all the transfers were seamless and the drivers were on time.
We especially like all the accommodations that were suggested by Natasha. Each has its pros and slight cons.
Victoria and Alfred hotel, Capetown for its location- at the waterfront , you can't beat that. So near all the restaurants and attractions.
Shimungwe Lodge, Thornybush Reserve- Great for family as we can have the whole resort to ourselves except for one night. Exceptional food and game viewing. We are able to see all the big 5 for 2 days.
Slight cons- ants infestation outside 2 of our rooms ( I think this can be dealt with). It will be nice to have bathroom slippers and bath robes as the nights can be cold. In addition , if the lodge can offer free local beer, drinks and liqueurs that we really differentiate it and make it a high end luxury resort . That is only because we were able to compare with lodges that we went to 15 years ago eg Mhondoro lodge , Madikwe safari lodge and Thakadu camp. They were all recommended by Sun Safaris.
Victoria Falls Safari Suite, Zimbabwe - Beautiful and unusual hotel. The 2 bedroom suites were really nice. We love the all inclusive package.
Special mention - we really enjoyed the sunset cruise on the Zambezi Explorer esp with the all inclusive drinks and canapes. This makes it more exclusive and luxurious.

Absolutely fantastic experience
I had an 8-day adventure covering Nairobi, Amboseli NP, Nakuru NP, Naivaha Lake, Mt. Longonot, and Masai Mara NP. Our driver, Toni, was incredibly professional and attentive. Imelda provided invaluable support throughout the planning process. A highlight was the unforgettable sunset aperitif organized for us in Amboseli. Highly recommended tour agency!

Fantastic Safari
This was our second booking with Wildebeest Safaris and we can absolutely recommend this company. They always responded very quickly via email and WhatsApp. We did a 3 day private tour and took a flight to Muslara Airstrip, where we were picked up from. Also our camp (Mara Crossing Camp) was amazing! Overall we had a great safari experience even though we did not see all of the big five, so we will have to come back for that.

The entire experience was great - the guide, the animals, the campsite…
The preparation was very easy, and the service was door to door. Our guide, Toni, was great at knowing where the lions were napping, and the hippos bathing. He did not merely show us the animals, though. He shared so much information about Kenya and its culture. He was a perfect guide, in my opinion - to be highly recommended.

Outstanding service and experience!!
Amazing service, excellent communication, great driver, great food, great tour experience! We had the most fantastic driver Levin Matcha, who knew exactly how to make a great safari experience, super knowledgeable about the animals and plants and very safe driver. I did 4 day safariand was excellent value for money.

Expertly organised tours with a big heart!
Went on safari to Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater. Kipe organised everything efficiently and with lots of care and attention. The tour itself was amazing. The accommodation was stunning. Nothing was too much trouble. The service was excellent and Kipe advised us expertly on everything (he even arranged flights for us). Kipe is a very experienced guide and will kindly advise you on how to get the best out of your trip and where to go. He is also involved in several projects and gives back to the community. On top of this, his tours are amazing value for money. He is totally reliable and goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure his clients are happy. I could not recommend more highly.

Amazing Safari in Nyerere with Shammah, Justin and El Hakeem
We had an amazing safari experience with Shammah Wonders! Justin did an excellent job of organizing the safari for us. He was very responsive and extremely patient in accommodating our customization requests until we came with the perfect plan. Our guide El Hakeem was just amazing. With a bachelor degree in wild life management, he's an expert in the fauna and flora of East Africa. He made our safari unforgettable with his enthusiasm, easy going attitude and patience with all our requests. He has so much experience as a safari guide and I can't recommend him enough.
We did a 4 days safari with two game drives, a boat tour, a bush walk and a bunch of other activities. We were so lucky to spot most animals on our first game drive which was one of the most memorable days of our lives. El Hakeem was so good in tracking animals and going off-trail to spot them. Those amazing off-trail escapades were really the highlight of the safari! But the rest was all great, from the two lodges we stayed in to the picnic meals during our game drives. I can't recommend enough Shammah, Justin and El Hakeem.

Amazing experience & Great Staff
We had a great experience with Adam and Home to Africa. The communication from Home to Africa was great and we felt very looked after the whole time. Our Tour Driver Adam was very knowledgeable of the local surroundings and had a great passion for his work. Adam went above and beyond for us and was very accommodating and worked very hard to get all our needs met including when we fell ill and had to go to the doctors, Adam took care of everything and rearranged things for us so we wouldn't miss out on anything. And Adam also helped us out after hours after our tour had finished, our flight got rescheduled unexpectedly and we were left at the airport but Adam came to the rescue and arranged airport transportation and accommodation for us even though he didnt have to. We found all the accommodation staff to be very friendly and welcoming too. The food was always delicious and there was always plenty of food all day. We would highly recommend this tour and this tour group to everyone and we are very Thankful that we chose Home To Africa and thankful for all of Adams hard work too.
