5/5

Jamie Jungle Safaris is amazing!! James, Jacob, and Isaac led our group. This is a company you can trust! They were very knowledgeable about all of our surroundings and wildlife in and outside the park. They made sure we were taken care of and comfortable. These guys became friends that I look forward to seeing again. The safari was incredible!!! I recommend Jamie Jungle Safaris for any trip you are planning. We will definitely only come back to them!

Best feeling I could ever have
5/5

Just got back from exploring Tanzania and had a spectacular time!

Our guide Pater truly was the best. He literally knew everything about everything. Couldn't have asked for a more knowledgable and kind guide. He knew what we were looking for and did not disappoint.

He was the perfect balance of professional and fun that made our trip so special. You will see the value of money when touring with Ozon Light Tours

they were great!
5/5

Everything was well organized, we had no surprises! The best part of it was Gilbert, our safary guide. He was knowledgeble, friendly, and of great help! We normally do not hire companies to organize our travels but this time we did and we have no regreats! Even some decisions that we questioned (like a a stop in between Tarangire and Serengeti) work quite well in retrospect. The camps selections were great! Perhaps the only questionable decision was to put us in KonoKone "resort" in Zanzibar. The place has a wonderful location but the service was substandard. Serena, in Stone Town, was a wonderful hotel. For those who like snokeling we do not think Zanzibar is a good place but that is not weaknesses on Lion King. If I come back to Tanzania I will hire them again with a special request: "please have Gilbert as our guide!

About: Bujo Tours
Excellent and professional company that gave us the trip of a lifetime!
5/5

We had the best experience with Bujo tours and really recommend them! The communications with them were very easy and they were super responsive in answering all of our questions. We booked a 9 day safari tour (by adding one day to the wildebeest migration safari plan to visit lake Manyara) and we included the add ons of a night drive, walking safari, and Maasai visit. The days were perfectly planned and well balanced and Bujo was flexible in making some suggestions to slightly alter the plans on certain days to make sure our preferences were taken into account.

Our guide (Justin) was fantastic! He was super knowledgeable and informative, had great instincts (which allowed us to see two wildebeest river crossings), and of course eagle eyes that gave us the most amazing sightings. We saw pretty much everything we wanted to see (apart from the elusive rhino!) and just had the most amazing experience that made the nine days just fly by. We had a large 4x4 vehicle with an open roof top that was very spacious and made it easy to see animals from all angles.

We choose to do camping and Bujo provided us with a spacious tent that we could stand up in that we set up for us at each camp site. Some of the facilities of the campsites were better than others but overall it was a really cool experience sleeping out in the bush and being able to listen to animals at night. The food was also great - we were never left hungry!

Everything ran really smoothly and honestly could not recommend Bujo tours enough as they really gave us an incredible holiday.

Superb team that work together to make the experience authentic, personalised and enjoyable.
5/5

Amazing experience. We booked the 7 day tour. We were 2 people and joined by one other individual.
10/10 from start to finish.
Communication flawless.
Logistics worked a treat (pick up / drop off from airport etc
Tour itself amazing … so many fantastic features eg
- private toilet (as a woman I really really appreciated this - a sit down toilet steps away from the tent is very useful .. who knew you pee ALL THE TIME at high altitude! It’s not fun in such cold temperatures I tell you!!! But so much easier when it’s steps away rather that having to traipse to the nearest public loo or to find a rock or bush

- delicious and plentiful food (huge and varied breakfast including toast, fruits, pancakes, omelettes, tea / coffee etc then lunch - always a delicious soup first (eg courgette / butternut / cucumber / veggie usual served with something like toast or, my personal favourite, yellow lentil puffs followed by carbs of some kind (potatoes, rice, pasta) and meat (eg chicken or beef) as well as a selection of fresh veggies .. and always followed by fresh fruit.
Honestly, so much food - and catering for all needs eg veggie etc. oh and I forgot - coffee and popcorn as an afternoon snack and goodies for during a hike (eg apple juice / a cake). You definitely won’t go hungry and maybe will even come home with a recipe or two.

- experienced and knowledgeable guides with excellent English willing to share details surrounding history, culture, language, experience, nature) these are guys who know the mountain like the back of their hand (I kid you not - for the summit day I got up there using hands and poles (and painkillers!) whilst they strolled up with their hands in their pocket. Seriously incredible. You are in the best hands. We (my husband and I) both made it up the summit thanks to them.

- friendly, efficient, happy team. Amazing porters who zoom up and down the mountain carrying crazy amounts of goods yet always get there ahead of you and have the whole camp set up before you arrive (your tent, the loo, the eating tent, the cooking tent etc). Seriously impressive especially as they always do it with a smile on their face. Pole pole might be the motto for us but everything they did was quick and efficient… and so appreciated.

- above and beyond attitude - one guy in our group got very sick (altitude is not a nice beast!) and needed to get down. The rescue helicopter could not come due to weather so the team carried him down the mountain on a stretcher to the nearest camp where he could be picked up by ambulance. That’s a full size adult carried over rocky, steep, challenging ground at 4000m altitude for around 4 HOURS. This task was taken up without question and upon their return were still smiling. Nothing short of top class. These guys have my utmost respect.

Absolutely no complaints - 5 star rating. Go with them.

Incredible safari experience
5/5

We did so much research and contacted >10 safari companies and the Suricata quote was by far the best value

We were comforted by all the positive reviews and their experience really shone through during our time with them - they are flexible and happy to add on elements to the trip at the guests request (we went to Olduvai Gorge museum and did a short hike to Olmoti crater)

Overall, Suricata made the whole experience fantastic

We would like to say a particular thanks to our absolutely wonderful wonderful guide Kevin, he was incredible. We were quite particular about what we hoped to get out of our 6 days (there were some particular birds we were excited about) and he made sure to tailor the experience so we could see as many as possible and also bought us a book to help us identify them.

He was extremely attentive / thoughtful - he noticed I was bothered by the tsetse flys and brought a fan the next day so I could shoo them away; if we mentioned there were certain foods we wanted to try he spoke to the chef and they were on the menu the next day! I got the impression that our having a good time was his number one priority

He was amazing and really helped to elevate our entire safari experience - thank you Kevin!

A trip never to forget in Uganda
5/5

This company orchestrated an amazing journey through Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Lake Mburo National Park. The opportunity to see mountain gorillas, witness diverse wildlife, and soak in the tranquil beauty of the park landscapes was a dream come true. Their attention to detail and seamless coordination made it a seamless and unforgettable multi-park adventure.

Mountain Gorillas of Uganda
5/5

Lulu Safaris custom built a 5-day tour for us. One day with Golden Monkeys in Rwanda and two days of Gorilla trekking in Uganda. Herbert was our guide and he was wonderful! I can’t say enough good things about him. Such a beautiful country. We were there in dry season and had zero issues with bugs. Didn't need gloves, but boot gators were a good idea. Hotels were fine, food at the hotel was hit or miss (some great, some less than great), but our guide was fantastic - I learned so much and would be thrilled to do another trip with Herbert. Three pieces of advice for visitors; 1) buy candy (lollipops?) to give to kids along your drive. 2) take children's books to donate to schools. We visited a local Batwa village outside of Bwindi and wish we had better prepared with donations. 3) because we flew in and out of Rwanda and then drove across the border to Uganda, be sure and apply for a multi-entry visa.

Trustworthy and reliable tour company.
5/5

We had been eagerly looking forward to our 14-day Rwanda Safari, a journey promised to be full of incredible wildlife encounters, stunning landscapes, and unforgettable experiences. Unfortunately, our trip couldn’t happen due to a medical event that left one of our party unable to travel. However, I must commend the Rwanda Eco Safari and Fred Odyek for their professionalism and trustworthiness throughout this difficult situation.
From the beginning, Rwanda Eco Safari had been attentive and responsive in helping us plan the perfect safari. They provided a detailed itinerary that showcased Rwanda's incredible biodiversity, including visits to national parks, wildlife reserves, and cultural sites.
Regrettably, prior to the trip, a member of our party experienced a major medical event that prevented us from undertaking the safari as planned. We were devastated to miss out on this trip of lifetime that we had been eagerly anticipating. In this challenging moment, Rwanda Eco Safari truly stepped up, Fred Odyek’s swift response and support were truly commendable, and we felt reassured despite the unfortunate circumstances.
One of the most impressive aspects of the Rwanda Eco Safari service was their commitment to transparency and fairness. They understood the situation and promptly initiated discussions about possible refunds for deposit that we had already paid. Fred Odyek’s straightforward communication and willingness to address our concerns demonstrated Rwanda Eco Safari’s integrity and reliability.
In conclusion, whilst our trip to Rwanda didn't unfold, Rwanda Eco Safari exceptional service and commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out. We remain hopeful that we will have the opportunity to make it to Rwanda in the future to experience the incredible wildlife and landscapes that we missed out on this time. If you're considering a safari in Rwanda with a trustworthy and reliable tour company, I would wholeheartedly recommend reaching out to Rwanda Eco Safari.
