Nick takes care of every angle of a birding safari from the areas visited to the lodges we stayed in
5/5

Nick communicated by email and sent an itinerary of the places we would visit and the lodges we would stay in. (That way we could look up the lodges ahead of time). I had birded with Nick before so I knew he would take care of all the details. The lodges were great-usually by a river or waterhole.
I was very excited when one night a hippo came up beside our tent to eat!
Nick will stop whenever you want to take pictures. That was great. Everybody had a window seat as he only takes six people on a tour.
Everything was great.

Safari to the north of Nairobi.
5/5

The safari was a great contrast to the more well known parks to the south. We visited Ol Pajeta, Samburu and Meru. The landscape and wildlife were quite different and not as crowded. Ol Pajeta and Meru were great places to see Rhinos up close.
Simon was a great organiser for our trip. He was always prompt and efficient with any enquires. Richard was a brilliant guide and even knew all the bird names. We only had 6 days but it was a brilliant trip.

Totally exceeded expectations. Communication- Great! Had the tour booked the same night i emailed and Peter made sure he communicated at all times and checked afterwards how everything went.
Service- totally amazing. Edward our driver was great. Felt like he tailored the tour to our wants (was a private tour).
Tour- saw 4 out of 5 of the big 5 and lots of amazing experiences.. Hotel couldn't rate highly enough. The whole experience was fantastic.

Amazing!!!
5/5

With my 2 sisters, we have made the safari from Kenya to Tanzania, it was amazing!!!We had the chance to have great guide Jacob in Kenya and Ezekiel in Tanzania, you also have a cooker only for you…there were just great, they have made sure we get and see all what we paid for. Jacob has been sooo nice to us and gave us so many advices about what to do and when and explanation whenever we were seeing an animal. The cooker were also soo sweet, we have eaten very well our 6 nights. We have made all the National park listed. Vincent Seth has made sure as well that we were safe and kept in touch with us all along the Safari. I definitely advice!!!!

The only point, I should say is that the program given is not always geographically possible time wise, so make sure you review it before you start your safari and even better few days before just to avoid some disappointment. Make all your statement clear…We have made 7 days/6 night, instead of 8 days/7nights and I have to admit that each day was quite full, so we do not have any bad feeling about the 2 places we didn’t do as the hell gate in Kenya and Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania.
Thanks Africa Safari!!!

Excellent day tour to the hot springs!
5/5

I went with Bartho from Arusha by car to the hot springs. He gave me a really good price to go there with him instead of booking an expensive tour!
Beside that he is really nice company and we had a great day :)
Because we where togheter I could make my own plan about when to go and when to back.
For me it felt so much nicer than with a big tour.
And Bartho also joins you to swim! Instead of some tourguides who only sit on the side of the hot springs.

Unprofessional and disappointing
1/5

We did a really bad experience with the Tour of faustin Tours and Travel.
We tried to get any confirmations on payments and an invoice before we went on the safari which already turned out very difficult as Faustin obviously doesn’t like to confirm anything.
The First day everything Went well, we went hiking that was very nice. After that we drove in our Hotel. The tan Swiss Hotel which was nice. In the evening we Should pay the half of the Money Cash to our guide in the Hotel.
In this Moment we noticed that money from us have been stolen.
We‘re not sure where it happens either it was in the Hotel or it was the driver. But that Not belongs to faustin tours. The Problem we got was, that we wanted a new driver and since that he didn‘t answered any of our calls. Our Guide was sitting next to us and Wrote with faustin what means that he saw our calls and didn‘t picked them up on purpose.
We accepted that we don‘t get a new driver so we drove to udzungwa the next day. But when we came there he didn‘t payed the entry fee so we had to wait there Many Hours because we couldn‘t enter the park and Start hiking. We tried to reach Faustin but without any success so we had to pay it again and went to a lot of trouble with the personnel of the wild park. The only helpful person being the tour guide that will definitely not work for Faustin again! So far all attempts to reach anyone at faustin travel were without success. No one answers the phone or writes back on messages - very poor!
Also we came there and suddenly he said we don‘t get any lunch, although it was included in our offer.
After we came back there was Money over that Had to be payed, but he also didn‘t send the guide the Money and didn‘t pick up the phone as usual.
So i recommend you to Never do a Tour With faustin Tours and safaris!
He‘s absolutely unprofessionell and criminell.
If you want to do a safari or hiking trips i really recommdent taylor safaris, the Agency where our Guide Kevin was from. He was really nice and helped us a lot.

The director Dennis Solomon is a incompetent and is only worried about money. No respect.

I was super excited about the safari, and the lady who helped us book was so nice, even our driver to the safari was so nice. The issue was on the second day ( we did only two days one night), logistics was awful. We were told to meet the tour guide at 6 am only to find out, the tour we were suppose to be on left. We spent the next 45 mins in the safari searching for that said group, only to find out they were finished in the park, so we parted the park to return to Nairobi. We were suppose to spend three hours in the safari. All while my husband did not have a seat in the van ( over crowded) so he sat on the floor- literally where you put your feet. When we discussed this with the direct of baboon budget his response was; “ who told you you would have a seat, you can stand”, which was not of course what we paid for. After some time explaining his only response to our cristicms was, “ oh you people- I know people like you- you are just never sastified, you just want to complain and get money”. We were of course only relaying our complaints. We ( my husband and I) spent 520.00 usd ( 240 a person, plus surcharge for using debit machine), and spent less than three hours actually touring the safari. Logistics are awful and the director does not care about the costumer.

The most kindhearted tour group you'll ever come across!
5/5

My friends and I are arrived in Arusha separately so it's safe to say that we were all quite nervous as it was our first time in Africa. Thankfully I had emailed and organised an airport pick up through Serengeti Wakanda prior to my arrival so it was a relief when I saw Bartho waiting outside the airport with my name on a sign, especially as I did not have any data!

Bartho was very friendly and the drive into Arusha was easy and relaxing. I waited for my friends to arrive later in the night before we discussed organising a safari tour. I never felt any pressure or obligation to book with Serengeti Wakanda. However, the choice was easy as both Bartho and his business partner and friend, Carlson were so friendly and sincere.

The camping safari itself was absolutely incredible!!! One morning whilst having breakfast, an elephant walked into camp and stood taller than our jeep! The afternoon before that, zebras ran past as we set up camp! It's something I won't ever forget!

Our driver was knowledgable and respectful of the animals. Our chef cooked the best meals and was so lovely with the whole group.

The tour was well organised and unforgettable! Bartho and Carlson went beyond allowing us to borrow their binoculars and even a cork opener as my friends and I forgot to take one with us! They seem like small gestures, however it means a lot especially as some other tour groups may charge for you to borrow their binoculars, for example. Their generosity and warmth did not stop once the safari tour ended. Upon returning to Arusha, they took us out to experience the local food and market without ever expecting anything in return. I have never come across a tour group or agency with such sincerity or kindness in my travels and cannot recommend Serengeti Wakanda highly enough!

Best safari with the best safari guide
4/5

We had a wonderful guide in Paul Poror , a maasai from the local community. Very patient and knowledgeable.
We asked too many questions and he was always eager to explain to us. Thank you Paul for making our safari an unforgettable experience.
