A great first time safari experience in Masai Mara and Amboseli
My friend and I were visiting Kenya for the first time, and we chose Gofan Safaris because it was one of the few programs that visited both Masai Mara and Amboseli National Parks on a reasonable schedule and price. The trip exceeded our expectations and we had a great tour of the parks. Despite visiting during an off-peak season, we were fortunately able to see plenty of wildlife, including some rare sights such as a cheetah hunting its prey and a lioness feasting along the road. Although we were not able to see Mt. Kilimanjaro, which we hoped to be the highlight of the trip, the four-day safari was one of the best vacations I had of recent memory.
Also, the staff of Gofan Safaris were very kind and supportive of us. Shad, who planned our trip, kindly visited us early morning in Nairobi so we may begin our trip. Franco, our guide and driver, explained to us the different animals in the parks and explained to us of the culture of Kenya as well. The accomodations were also beyond our expectation with comfortable lodging, great food, and great staff.
I would defintely like to visit Kenya with Gofan Safaris again if I had a chance to do so. It was a great 4 day tour!

Queen Elizabeth Mweya Lodge Trip
I just did a safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park with Buffalo Safari Camps last week. It was one of the best and most relaxing trips I’ve been on in a long time. They arranged everything for us from the rooms to the game drives and boat rides. All we had to do was show up! Our main goal was to see the lions. On our first game drive in the early morning we didn’t see any. Our guide with Buffalo Safari Camps, Emma, said we should try the afternoon since it was colder and rainy. He said because of the weather the lions would be moving. Sure enough when we went on the afternoon game drive we did we saw lions! Their guides were very knowledgeable and were extremely friendly. I have already told people about this company and have already booked other people to use them. If I am ever doing a trip in Uganda they will be the only ones I use!

Fantastic! Very professional. Speedy responses. You can travel stress-free.
I was in contact with Megan for my family vacation in Madagascar. I only had 5 days to plan it! She was so helpful and cooperative. She recommended Andasibe National Park, which wasn't initially on my radar. It was a fantastic experience. A MUST SEE because you get to interact with so many incredible species of Lemurs. Our stay at the Vakona Forest Lodge was also great. Nosy Be was just a dream. Please visit Nosy Komba and Tanikiley. Discover Africa was so professional and worked so fast. Communication made everything much easier. Thanks for organizing my family vacation.

Extra ordinary safari
The 3 week trip to Uganda was extraordinary, a wonderful cultural and wildlife experience. It was also very well planned and organized. Jonah could not have been a better guide …. superb knowledge of all things ‘Ugandan’, cheerful demeanor, and ability to communicate and relate to us 4 ‘outlanders’.I plan to visit again in the future, and I will have Africa Adventure vacations in mind. Thank you for everything

Excellent
It's comforting to have a familiar feeling home base when traveling to a new country and culture. The service was excellent, with enough touches of the local culture to introduce and welcome visitors.

Excellent communications, they are always ready to assist in anyway possible. Great service, they ensure to be customer friendly at all times no matter the scenario. more than the expectations of any customer they come across. No matter the class or level, they do their very best. I was bewildered myself.

Phenomenal experience, magical times
From the moment we first accessed the SafariBookings website and asked for the quotation they promptly replied us with all the information we needed. Since we we're not coming from the airport (but by bus) they offered to pick us up at the station at no fee and dropped us at our hotel, only stopping at the office to hand the payment and check the arrangements for our safari on the next day. They were helpful and friendly at all times and were always communicating with us and informing the next steps.
On the day of the departure to the safari, they picked us up and explained how the logistics would be (given different groups were staying for different amount of days at the safari) and we were placed with two other ladies who would be doing the 3 days-2 nights package (we did the 2 days-1 night). Everything went smoothly on the ride there and the accommodation exceeded our expectations (even though they didn't have hot water in the showers) as well as the meals included (proper breakfasts, lunchs and dinners).
The safari experience was beyond incredible. Our tour guide, Joffrey, did an amazing job and we were so lucky we got to see the BIG 5 and many other animals (the quest to find the Black Rhino was so fun and we were able to spot a leopard which is quite difficult!)! He stayed in touch with other guides through a radio frequency and they would always inform where other animals were placed and you could see he genuinely wanted us to witness all of them (and we would get so so close to the animals!). On our way out e even caught a lioness eating what was left of a Zebra (a raw and wild moment).
We also booked the Giraffe Center and Elephant Orphanage once we were back in Nairobi and despite some difficulties we encountered (regarding time, jam and misscommunication) the experience with the giraffes was lovely (we ended up not going to the Elephants cause the feeding time is between 11-12pm and we missed it so we ended up going to a mall + local market).
You can definitely see they improved from previous feedbacks and reviews they received and the service was spot on. I highly recommend them!
Thank you so much Frank and Joffrey, you made our journey magical!
