Good Price and flexible! Organised a trip to suit our requirements.
We did a 1 day safari to ngorongoro with the chosen journey. We went with them because they were the only operator who were able to offer a 1 day trip to this location (which we had heard was the best one) and we didn’t have the time to do multiple days on safari.
Due to the lack of reviews, We were a little concerned if we could trust the service however everything ran very smoothly and they honoured their agreement providing us with a very good safari for a great price. So I would say that you can trust them.
The only slight downside I would say is that once you are in touch with the company they are very persistent in contacting you after while you are in the area trying to sell you additional trips or services, which can feel a little pushy. However this ended up coming in handy when we needed a lift to the airport at the end of the trip, and they were able to do it at short notice with a good price so I can’t complain!
If I was in the area again and needed a trip booking I would use their services :)

Kihindo holidays represent true Tanzania
I had an unforgettable experience with the Kihindo holiday. My tour guide Isaya has gone above and beyond of my expectations. As I travelled with two young little children I was first very anxious about the whole trip. But Isaya made the journey and safari experience so pleasant and unforgettable from the moment I landed in Tanzania till the end of my trip. We saw plenty of animals in Mikumi National Park within a very short period of time. ISAYA has extensive knowledge about ecology and game drive. He answered an uncountable amount of questions asked by my two little kids with always a smile on his face. I highly recommend this tour guide and I can assure you that you will be in safe hands. Asante Sana to Isaya & his team on KIHINDO tours. Till will meet again !

The Best tour company I have ever used.
MoAfrika have been super helpfull. You get answers to your questions within 12 hours (depending on the time zone) or sonner. Prices are very competitive and the Value for money superior than any other company. I have done the Soweto tour with Kevin. Professionnel, and very knowledgable the tour surpassed my expectation. I was then picked up by Calvin for a long drive to Greenfire Lodge. Again professionalism and skill driving made the 6 hours very pleasant. I cannot say enough about Greenfire lodge, the photos of the lodge doesn't give it justice. The place is beautiful, the service exceptionnel and the guides extremely good. The host Carol goes out of the way to assure all is perfect. The Big 5 cannot be garanteed but I was à lucky one. An incredible expérience.

Reassuring, Professional and Elite
Pre-Booking:
Upon our initial enquiry, we were greeted via email by Vanessa (personal journey designer at Spirit of Kenya), who proved to be extremely helpful, patient, informative, kind and reassuring throughout every step. Communication was fast and efficient without feeling rushed or pressured. As this was a significant deal of money being handed over to a person or a company of whom we had never heard of before, trust was paramount and this was immediately gained through the official proceedings. By the end of the booking stage, we were incredibly satisfied and excited about the itinerary.
Safari:
A once in a lifetime experience in the sense that this was the first time we had embarked on such an adventure. Our driver and expert guide Steve aka Stevo, was polite, warm and welcoming from the very moment he'd picked us up from our apartment in Nairobi. From Amboseli to Lake Nakuru and finally Maasai Mara, Steve provided what can only be described as a top-tier experience. His ability to stay composed, friendly and energised were easy for him because as we had discovered, this is the kind of human being he was and is. We got to know each other on a personal level and treated the other like family (having dinner together, too). We mentioned on a number of occasions to Steve how fortunate we were to have him as our guide/driver on this 5-day (almost non-stop) trip across Kenya. The long drives in between felt at times like bonus additions as we could still see other parts of Kenya, of which Steve was just as knowledgeable about. It was the best of both worlds.
As for the safari itself, luck was truly on our side. I believe we saw, photographed and videoed most of the animals (expect the rare leopard). Highlights included the abundance of buffalos, elephants, zebras, giraffes, antelopes as well as the wide rhinos, lions, ostriches, cheetah and her cubs (Steve's favourite), warthogs, baboons, flamingos and an array of other birds like the waders, peafowls, eagles, starlings, barbets etc. Words can't describe the visual splendour of it all. It was a scenic meditation where we'd stop, watch and admire these beautiful beings in their natural state, even if it included the humbling ecosystem food chain of live hunts.
Steve had no problem stopping for us throughout the reserve and even encouraged it. He, too, found himself documenting moments on his phone adding to the fact that as many times as he had embarked on safaris, neither one was ever the same. There was always a different experience each time.
In terms of the lodges, all three were above expectation. Food was phenomenal including the staff and the head chefs. Each of whom, were so accommodating due to our dietary needs, fixing up off-menu dishes in no time at all. They really helped to hold our transitory periods between the game drives together with their kind hearts and humour.
Conclusion:
A professionally-handled and client-friendly experience, which we may in the future look to experience again. Thank you to Spirit of Kenya and all of the staff at each one of the lodges, where we stayed at. It was great to be in the country where many of our family were born and the safari was an immeasurable addition to our trip back in the birthland.

Well organized, even spontaneously booking worked perfectly.
Very nice Tour, with our driver Clinton who has experience since 10 years and always brought us into the pole position for perfect pictures of lions, rhinos, elephants, buffalos cheetahs and many more animals. The accommodation at the camps have been basic but totally enough for the safari trip as we have been leaving in the morning and came late in the evening.

The Absolute Trip of a Lifetime!
Mufasa not only surpassed all of our expectations, but we experienced a trip of a lifetime that will never be forgotten. We have been on several safaris in three other African countries with a different tour company. They were good but nothing compares to Mufasa. A friend enthusiastically recommended Mufasa to us and we did our homework talking to other companies. We wanted to visit Kenya for 12 days. The price and accommodations were better with Mufasa and included everything (except tips and drinks for lunch and dinner). We were given an extensive list on how to prepare for the trip, ie what kinds of plugs to use, not to bring plastic, how to get a visa to enter Kenya etc. It was very thorough and helpful.
We were taken care of every step of the way.
Our very kind, always positive and personable guide, Kevin, can only be described as the most knowledgeable person about every animal and park we visited. He can spot and identify over 400 birds just in Kenya alone and say instantly the complete scientific name. He explained where they come from, their behaviors, and answered all questions one can think of to ask. He has the patience of a saint.
Kevin also knows his way around East Africa without GPS. We were with him for 12 days and visited 4 National Parks. His driving skills are incredible, keeping us safe and arriving on time. He makes sure the vehicle is in tip top shape mechanically and has it cleaned nearly every day. Water is unlimited in the vehicle and chilled. Kevin knows where to stop for bathroom breaks and makes sure everyone is comfortable.
When it comes to finding animals and knowing every detail about them, we could not get over Kevin’s extensive knowledge. For example in Samburu, he found and explained to us all about the rare Grevy zebra, which are going extinct, the reticulated Giraffes, the Gerenuk, aka the giraffe gazelle, the rare Oryx and Somali Ostrich. One morning, Kevin found the perfect spot for us to enjoy breakfast with reticulated giraffes all around in Samburu. It was surreal.
Everyday brought more fascinating sightings. In Ol Pejeta, Kevin spotted a cheetah at dusk and we followed her for over an hour, the only vehicle who saw her at the time. We watched her mark her territory and look for prey for dinner. We laughed as we saw monkeys up in a watch tower following her every move as we were too. Luckily, for a wart hog, the cheetah did not see him. In Ol Pejeta we saw male lions, female lions and cubs all very close up. We visited a chimpanzee sanctuary started by Jane Goodall to rescue chimps from other countries that were orphaned or abused. We fed and pet a rhinoceros named Baraka and saw many water buffalo.
At beautiful Lake Nakuru we saw white rhinos, a lioness in a tree, zebras fighting to kick out a male from the herd and many water buffalo. Kevin explained all of the animals behavior and why they do what we observed. For example, zebra rest their heads on each other’s backs, called necking, so they can see predators from all angles as they rest.
On the way to Lake Bogoria, Kevin rescued a large 37 year old tortoise from being run over on the road. When we arrived to the gorgeous lake we saw thousands of flamingos. Kevin had bought eggs at the entrance to the park from a local family and demonstrated cooking eggs in a hot spring near the lake. We enjoyed watching flamingos eating, walking, swimming and flying. Kevin knew of a beautiful spot near a small creek under trees in which to enjoy a picnic lunch. Again, another fabulous day!
In Masai Mara, not only did we see a beautiful cheetah, she walked by our vehicle and touched the land cruiser. How Kevin knew where these animals will most likely be and where to drive so they will walk by us is beyond me.
One morning in Masai Mara, Kevin took us to where he could take photos of us standing next to a silhouette of a tree as the sun was rising. Great start! He found a lioness having breakfast eating a water buffalo. Kevin saw the male was walking away towards the hyenas who wanted to also eat the kill. The male was making sure she could eat in peace. Kevin was the only driver who knew instinctively to follow the male and we observed him walking right past us while trying to to ward off the hyenas. When we returned to the spot where the carcas was, a huge number of other hyenas were now devouring the remains, all while on lookout for the male lion. Interestingly, the female lion we observed first eating the water buffalo, was near by watching the hyenas. She was left alone by the hyenas since they knew they outnumbered her. We also saw many jackals next to the hyenas trying to eat what they could, the scraps, to no avail.
In Masai Mara we saw another pride of lions with their cubs resting. We saw a saddle billed stork, Egyptian goslings and so much more including week old giraffes, young male lions resting, slender tailed mongoose, crocodiles, elephants and many hippos. One long held dream was to spot a leopard and lo and behold Kevin spotted a female leopard. The leopard came out of the bush and walked right by us. Kevin instantly drove the vehicle where we could observe her up close for as much time as we wanted to admire her.
We saw another male lion come out of the bushes and walk right in front of us and soon after that we then saw a male leopard. The male leopard was much bigger than the female that we observed with a neck that was also different than the female’s.
I have left out so much but wanted to explain some of the highlights. At all times, Mufasa was attentive to our every need. Kevin was a skilled driver and incredibly knowledgeable about everything including plants, insects and all animals big and small. I can’t recommend Mufasa enough. I’m very happy we listened and took the advice of my friend. We plan to go back to explore more of East Africa with Mufasa. We’re all still on cloud nine over one if not the most amazing trip of our lifetime. Thank you very much Joseph and thank you Kevin!!

Great trip perfectly organised
Our trip around Namibia was booked through Kubwa Five Safaris, main contact was Sylvia (from their sister company Ompo Travel). Everything was organised perfectly, Sylvia listened to our needs and constantly adapted the trip according to our (many) changes of mind, to ensure we could get the best out of it, both in terms of things to do and accommodations where to stay; but she also added her local know-how to advise our decisions on what really worth seeing and what to skip (given the limited time of two weeks). She was also very responsive, both prior the trip as well as during the trip, taking immediate action if needed (only once, due to a misunderstanding on the check-out from a lodge).
Namibia is an amazing place with plenty of wilderness and photo opportunities, and we have enjoyed it fully!

Excellent tour, communication a bit slow
We booked a 7 day safari with jocky tours and visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli national parks. Jocky tours was very helpful and ubcomplicated in including a planned interruption of the safari so we could stay at a Maasai village for two nights.
The drivers Kikitu and Philip were very friendly, helpful, resourceful and caring. They both know a lot about the wild animals and the history of country and people. Kikitu found animals in the rarest places, Philip also provided books to check animals in further detail (which I liked). I highly recommend them both.
Communication with Jocky tours was okay. The response time via mail was a bit slow and not all questiobs were answered. After our intermission, the new driver and us were waiting for each other at the same place for 3 h, because we did not receive each others contacts. But on the other hand, jocky was very flexible, as mentioned.
The safaris in all three national parks were amazing. The landscape is very different, so each was a new experience. We saw a bunch of wild animals of various kind, including four of the big five (for rhinos you should visit Lake Nakuru) and many other impressive animals. We got a lot for our money and can recommend to book a tour with jocky tours.
