Otto's South Tanzania tour
5/5

We had with Otto a very good organized tour to the quit south of Tanzania. Ketulo NP; Ruaha NP; Mikumi NP; Selous and at the end a nice stay at the Indian Ocean in the little town of Kilwa. Otto is not only an excellent safari guide with fish eagle eyes, but also a good driver which is necessary in the chaotic Tanzania traffic, specially bus drivers. Otto is flexible with good advices if he thinks the best option is to change the tour. If you need Otto he is there on time, if you don't need him he leaves you alone. In this safari there is a nice mountain walk through the Uluguru mountains. If you don't have a little experience in the mountains , take the same way
back, but go with the local guide Andrew and stay one afternoon and night with the friendly locals there.

wonderful tour and very well done
5/5

We very much enjoyed our tour experience with Go Touch Down. Very well done. The idea of small groups was excellent. The accommodations and the various meals at local restaurants was also very good. It was so nice to order directly from a menu and the dinning at the various wineries was fabulous. We really tours to other parts of South Africa. Over all we feel the company did a fabulous job conducting the tour. I have recommended the company to others I have had conversations with. We really enjoyed meeting the company owner as well as the other persons working for the company. Our tour guides were very good particularly "Buckies".

One word - Superb!
5/5

Everything from start to finish has quite simply been fantastic.
Melanie from Pembury Tours listened to our likes and dislikes and taylor-made our itinerary to suit. The result? A perfect blend of South African hospitality spread over 42 nights. It really couldn't have been better.
Moreover, it is refreshing to note that the fee to put all this together was more than reasonable. Melanie has been flawless throughout.

Great communication & guides
5/5

Prior to booking our safari we exchanged communications with lots of companies but no one matched the cost breakdown and detailed responses from E-Trip who answers questions we didn’t even know we had! This gave a real comfort feel I booking something we had no experience of and on arrival in Tanzania the great service continued. We stayed at Researchers Rest and met Ben who had organised our trip for us in person. We then spent 5 nights on the road with our guide Aladdin who was very informative and did his best to ensure we saw everything we wanted to see (except that pesky rhino which evaded us). The lodges we stayed at we all great, again we took advice from e-trip on this and managed to score some honeymoon discounts. Everything about the whole end to end process was easy and well put together.

Worthwhile experience and an amazing experience
5/5

Since my initial inquiry with Axis Africa, they have been very prompt in responding to all my questions and emails. They will ask you for an initial deposit through an African PayPal system, called Pesapal. Do not worry; it's not a scam. If you are a cautious person like me, pay a small deposit and the rest in cash when you meet up your driver.

Our driver and tour guide, Albert, was terrific. We couldn't have asked for someone better. He stopped to explain every animal we came across and even drove us to the furthest point of the Reserve, The Rift Valley, where Tanzania and Kenya divide.

Albert has been very punctual to the schedule, as well. We saw 90% of all the big animals, except for the rhinos.

I am glad that I got to experience a fantastic journey in Africa. It's once in a lifetime moment to see the animals roam freely in their natural habitat.

We had exactly 48 hours in Kenya and we needed something to do.we were refered to jumbo adventures by the airport immigration guys.We called them and after the plans were made we decided to visit masai mara for an overnight safari. It was the best choice having our driver who was so accommodating and did 2 extensive gamedrives which we were pretty lucky with the big 5.cheers Jane and your guide ndegwa you made our short stay memorable.

Good, flexible and personal service, and can organise and implement trips in each detail very well.
5/5

It was a very good trip! Great driver and guide (Gilbert), they did an excellent job! It all worked perfectly in terms of timing, logistics, service etc. Mikumi park is perfect for 1-2 days safaris, with very good animal spotting opportunities and great settings (can compare with 7 other safaris, in four different countries).

Superb experience every step of the way
5/5

Everything was spot on from adapting my original booking at the last minute to ensure my trip could go ahead to the wealth of information provided on the trip. The car was so comfortable, every little thing considered and provided such as chilled water throughout the day and regular comfort stops offered as needed. My guide was Norman, how lucky I was to meet him and learn so much about the wildlife, environment and rich history of S Africa.
I can’t recommend these guys enough, nothing was too much trouble and travelling solo I felt safe in the hands of these professionals all the way.
