Great parks, great variety of animals and the parks all have their own signature. It is not overcrowded with tourists. It is a safe and friendly country to travel - you can easily travel on your own. Safari is niet cheap but there are several budget options.

The wildlife and mountaineering experience Tanzania offers is unmatched in the region. I left my heart in Tanzania when I first visited, and I have visited several times after and never gets enough.

I finally took the trip I desired my entire life. Went to Mikumi for three days with Kanuth. It was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all expectations. Office staff was patient and was quick to respond to my requests. My guide was knowledgeable and a pleasant companion. The vehicle was ideal for trip. Accommodations matched the ambiance. The wildlife was abundant. Got to see giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, elephants, hippos, antelope, cape buffalo, wart hogs, jackal, baboon, eland, rock python, crocodile, honey badger and lion. Also saw loads of birds. Already looking forward to my next trip.

I've been to Africa before, but never on a safari. Tanzania exceeded my expectations with incredible wildlife imagery, seeing animals in their natural habitat up close and personal. We rode in Toyota Land Cruisers that were altered to allow us to stand and view from within the vehicle. These cruisers took a beating on the dirt roads whether in mud or unpaved roads. The drivers always got us to and fro safe and sound. The birding was more than I expected, from hummingbirds to ostriches, it became one of my favorite forms of wildlife to see. Of course the Big 5 were on my list, but the birds were extremely interesting. I highly recommend a Tanzanian safari to anyone interested in seeing wildlife in its natural surroundings.

Tanzania has absolutely spectacular wildlife and supreme birding opportunities. Experiencing the country as a tourist is comfortable and safe, and the locals are extremely friendly. The landscape is gorgeous, especially in the rainy season.
