Very nice wild life and very African country

Tanzania is a truly beautiful country with breathtaking nature and wildlife. The safaris and landscapes can exceed all expectations – sometimes things turn out even better than you imagined. At the same time, traveling here means embracing a very authentic African experience.

It’s important to be prepared for some challenges along the way. Roads can be rough, and getting a flat tire every now and then is quite normal. Public toilets outside the national parks are often just simple holes in the ground – there’s never toilet paper, so bring your own. Even inside the parks, where “Western-style” toilets are provided, many are poorly maintained.

Another thing to keep in mind is pricing. As a tourist, you will often be asked to pay much more than the local rate. Whether you decide to negotiate or just accept the difference depends on your own comfort level. Ordering food can also be a lesson in patience: a simple lunch might easily take an hour before
Read more it arrives, but that’s just part of the local rhythm.

If you prefer to stay fully in the “tourist bubble,” you’ll be more shielded from these aspects. But if you step outside it, you’ll experience both the challenges and the charm of everyday life in Tanzania. Either way, the incredible wildlife and landscapes more than make up for the occasional inconvenience.

Tanzania is a surprise for me, I was blown away how ecosystem interacting right before my eyes, in the flesh! It’s very grounding to see tribes and villages during our trip. People in Tanzania are very warm and welcoming. It is beautiful to see different landscapes, and weather was perfect the time we went. Overall Tanzania is breathtaking!

Wild life in Serengeti

We went for a five day tour to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro and saw a lot of wild life and amazing views. We saw lion, cheetah and leopard cubs. We also saw 3 cheetahs hunting a Thomson´s gazelle, hippos very active in the water measuring their mouths, giraffes, elephants, ... We saw more active life than expected. We also went on a trip on a hot balloon with Miracle Experience Balloon Safaris and I recommend it. You can see Serengeti and its views and wild life from another prespective.

We went on a 4-day safari, spending two nights in lodges and one night in tents, and it was absolutely perfect! We had the privilege of seeing all of the Big Five thanks to our professional and highly recommended guide (we booked through Safari 360). One piece of advice: we suggest visiting Tarangire, Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater, while skipping Lake Manyara if possible (ideally, spending two days in the Serengeti instead). We strongly recommend embarking on this wonderful adventure!

We so enjoyed our well organised, trip of a lifetime through the stunningly beautiful national parks of Tanzania, led by our knowledgeable and so friendly guides, and blessed with sightings of innumerable animals. Staying at lodges which were very attentive in every detail, staffed by the nicest people imaginable, a wonderful experience to add another dimension to our memories.

The north of Tanzania is absolutely stunning. The scenery was truly spectacular—vast landscapes and breathtaking views at every turn. We were amazed by the incredibly diverse wildlife we encountered.

Our safari tour was exceptional in every way. The guide were knowledgeable and attentive, and the entire experience was thoughtfully organized. We felt safe, informed, and constantly in awe of our surroundings. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in nature.

We also ate very well throughout the trip—the food was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. The weather was perfect for a safari: warm during the day with cooler, comfortable nights.

Overall, this was an incredible journey that exceeded all expectations.
